This review was originally left in Nov of 2024. It needed to be edited, which is the reason for the resubmission. The male half of the ownership has always been very kind and respectful to both myself and my small dog. However his wife (Jenny) is an entirely different story. She harbors hostility and contempt towards customers for unknown reasons. This occurs even if the customer is polite and respectful. This behavior reflects unprofessionalism and immaturity. I've visited this shop about 5-6 times, but will not be coming back or recommending this place to anyone based on my past 2 experiences here. I have always conducted myself in a calm, polite, and respectful manner with the owners and everyone else in the shop. I missed an appt in the summer of 2024 due to illness, and called the shop that same day to apologize and explain the situation. The gal I spoke with was very kind and understanding. She told me not to worry about it and to focus on getting better. At the rescheduled appt, Jenny claimed I was 15 minutes late. According to the time displayed on my phone, I was 7 minutes late. When I showed the current time on my phone to Jenny and her husband, the response was bizarre. They kept offering to show security camera footage, proving that I was more than 7 minutes late. I told them I trusted the displayed time on my phone and that looking at security camera footage was unnecessary. They informed me that I would have to wait another 2.5 hours for a pedicure because they filled my spot with someone else. A courteous and professional business owner would have said something like, "Gosh I'm so sorry for the inconvenience of having to wait an additional 2.5 hours for an appt. Next time, please be sure to contact us, even it you think you're just going to be a few minutes late, so that way you won't lose your spot....Would you like to reschedule for another day?" This incident is what prompted Jenny to treat me like a sub human life form from that point forward. Her husband remained kind and friendly to me whenever I visited the shop. On 11/25/2024, when I arrived, the shop was not busy. There were 3-4 clients being serviced at the time. Jenny was the only owner in the shop, and was making eye contact, smiling, and being talkative and friendly with the other customers. I was not acknowledged when I walked in: there was no eye contact, no smile, and no greeting. I've had a large hernia for 25 years. This evening, for the first time, the clothing underneath the abdominal area got completely saturated with water during the pedicure. I politely mentioned this to Jenny. She continued to not make eye contact, and said coldly: "Its because you asked for the water to be warmed up". Asking for water to be warmed up has never resulted in my clothing becoming saturated. So I then responded in a polite, non-sarcastic tone, out of genuine curiosity: "From now on, should I expect for my clothes to become saturated whenever I ask for the water to be warmed up?" Jenny again replied coldly, and said, "You must not have pulled your pants up all the way". I politely let her know that something like this had never happened in 25 years, and that it was the abdominal area that was saturated, not the pant legs. She didn't respond. A kind, caring, courteous, professional business owner would have responded with something like: "Gosh I'm so sorry that happened, do you need a towel? We will try to be more conscientious about that next time. Thanks for bringing that to our attention." They wouldn't blame the customer and do nothing to help. As I paid and left, Jenny never smiled, made eye contact, or thanked me for my business like she did with other customers. She remained cold. I was charged full price for a pedicure despite the fact that I opted for no nail polish. There were several errands I had to run afterwards in completely soaked clothing. Changing clothes wasn't an option due to not living in the area. Customers should not be treated this way. Please exercise caution when patronizing this business. read more

The staff and customer service was fantastic! We made a last minute appointment for 4 pedicures, and they were able to fit us in. When we got there we were offered a complimentary drink, which was a nice surprise. We picked out our polish and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. Sara and Linsey were two of the nail techs and they were so fun and did a great job. They even put the football game on for us, which was a nice little added touch. I came here for my first mani/pedi post-partum after having my second baby. It was my first time doing something for myself after a pretty rough pregnancy/birth journey. I was so so so excited. My nails came out okay, but man the service was absolutely awful. I felt so talked down to and it was just the exact opposite of what I needed, which was just relaxation. SERVICE: I was instructed to choose a polish color for my toes, since that was what I was going to be starting with. I picked one pretty quickly, but was waiting for a chair to open up (had a reservation, but only waited a few minutes). As I was waiting, I just stared at the wall of polishes. I understand how it could look like I wasn't done picking one out, but I was holding the polish bottle I had chosen in hand and stayed in one spot (vs. walking to and from the polish stands). Regardless, the lady said, "you're standing for a long time, did you finally pick one out yet?" I quietly replied that I was ready and the led me to my chair and asked what I wanted for my manicure. I showed them a picture of what I was hoping to get, which was a soft pink glittery chrome. I did have shorter nails because of the newborn (duh), but was told to choose something else since it "won't look nice with short nails like mine." I almost cried (probably due to hormones) and just wanted to get out of there. I hope no one else experiences what I did, but I will no longer be returning. read more

They were nice to get in last minute but heads up only like 2 of them speak English. I had to get another lady to come over to tell my manicurist what I wanted. Started out okay until she nipped my finger while trimming my nails on the side of my finger. I yelped "ouch!" And she just laughed. Kind of awkward but it was okay. Hurt for several days after. Lindsay "nailed it". Sorry i HAD to. I'm trying to find "my nail salon" and this place is it for me. This is an acrylic set with gel polish. They get you a little drink and were very kind with me. I have MS so speed with great execution are extra important. Lindsay did that and I LOVE THEM! I've only said that about 1 other place and it cost way more and they're rude. So ya gimme Lexi Nails- I gave Lindsay a 5- But... Update. I asked for "Lindsay" told "lindsay? Ya ok" no she wasn't even in the building. The second time I went....no thanks. A fill cost as much as a new set, they won't shape nails that are grown out, this tech was making fun and getting annoyed, had a tizzy for over me not picking a nail color when I showed her the pic. I said "I just wanted what she gave me last time" the nail color book?? Tf. And no she didn't find the color I had last time. She just kind of trash talked the last techs work and chose my color. I told her I did want a pink so she shoved the nail color book at me and walked away. She was obviously talking ish to another lady her age and shaking her head, rolling her eyes and motioning to me. But the BEST part is she cut 4 of my fingers and a long scratched on the back of my hand and blamed it on my cat.....that I don't have. She kept trying to cover it right after she did it. Then she blamed it on my husband by asking "does he" and does hitting motions "you?" My husband had just walked over to ask a question and was sitting there for it all. Then all the jokes were about how rich I was? Bc of my ring?? Woman- if you knew about my situation and the money for that manicure- right I'm so rich and yes mangle my hand and then love bomb me. "So pretty and beautiful look at your dimple you shining you so beautiful"- as soon as payment is due. I can take jokes but it's not a good job, I have 4-5 cuts and a long scratch I'm tending too now and I'm super unhappy because I liked the tech last time, the prices were fair and she tried to give me just what I wanted. She was kind and quick. She also didn't tear up my hands and make me worried about staph. She was classy. If she WAS talking trash, I would've never known or cared. ***update!!*** Jenny (the owner) reached out to me after hearing of my experience and was so kind and understanding, she even offered to refund my service. I really think the situation itself got to just be so confusing for everyone and left us all feeling flustered. I think she's a great example of a caring business owner!! I'm new to the area and have been getting my nails done for close to 2.5 years now, so I knew once I moved here I was going to try to find a new place closer by with good reviews. The reviews are why I booked with this salon, since they were so high. However, my experience was less than satisfactory once I went in. When I sat down, I showed the nail artist a picture of how I wanted the shape of my nails to be (I had grown them out from a square shape so that they could be filed into more of a round almond shape, so I brought a picture to reference that). When showing the picture I had tried to clarify that I just wanted my nails to be this shape, not the color in the picture (which was French tips). I had requested by color be red. She seemed to understand all that I had said, and we started our appointment. When it came to file and cut my nails, she originally did them as squares. Thankfully, there was still enough length left on them that I was able to correct when asked and try to make gestures with my hands as to what shape I wanted my nails to be. Then, when it came time to color, she started doing white French tips, even though I had explained earlier that the picture was just for shape reference, and not the color/design of the nails. When I went to correct her on this, she got really defensive. All of a sudden there were 6 different nail artists all around our desk being very direct and somewhat hostile, trying to unlock my phone and look at the picture that my nail artist said I showed her. I then tried to explain to all of them that, again, the picture was just for shape reference, and that I wanted just plain, solid, red nails for color. They were rude (trying to unlock my phone and go through my photos) and wouldn't listen to me (they kept talking over me or whispering amongst themselves whenever I tried to answer a question or clarify the issue). In the end, I walked out with bright pink neon nails and a cut that developed into an infection of the side of my nail from the nail tech very aggressively cutting my cuticles. Regardless, I might've gone back if they hadn't all ganged up on me and sort of "put me on trial" during my appointment with the whole nail color vs nail shape debacle. read more

I paid $100 to have my feet scrubbed and exfoliated of all dead skin. Granted, my feet were winterized, not taken from long storage. When I left the nail salon 2 hours later, there was still paraffin wax on my feet. They had to repaint my toes because the polish wouldn't dry with so much oil on them. $100 to make my cuticles bleed and my feet peeling. RUN!! read more

This place fucking sucks. Came here because my fav place closed down. First they put my feet in luke warm water. And as I'm looking thru pricing it's 35 for a basic pedi (50) with gel. That only comes with clipping and trimming of toe nails. 50 dollars? absurd. Next one up is spa pedi which is what I got. 60 with gel. 45 without. This doesn't even include callous remover with that package!!!! What the hell is that? For 60 dollars I can't get the dead skin off? This place is delusional. Then as I was getting the sugar scrub, she rubbed the same spot of my leg until my skin was sore from the scrub. During the lotion and sugar scrub there was no massage. Just light rubbing of the front of my leg. She didn't even get the backs. She also only rubbed my right foot for about 5 seconds and forgot to do the left. This was a very low quality experience. She was unthoughtful, inconsiderate, lazy. Don't recommend. Definitely not worth the money (which is over priced to begin with). My toenails look just ok. Except my left big toe nail is slightly crooked and the paint doesn't go to the edge and the extra skin. Fuck this place!!! :( read more

I came in for the first time today and I have to say this will be my go-to salon now! I made an appointment for 10am (on a Saturday) for a gel pedicure and manicure and I arrived at 9:50 and they took me right away. I was immediately asked by a kind gentleman if I wanted anything to drink, and he brought me a water, and also shower me all the buttons on the massage chair. He was super friendly to all the guests there. My technician was T. She did an amazing pedicure-- her massage almost out me to sleep! I'm 9 months pregnant and was in heaven! She was also really gentle when filing and cutting my nails. T also did my manicure and was very detail oriented. She cleaned up my cuticles too which not a lot of places do anymore when you get a gel manicure, so I appreciated that since it will be a while that I'm able to come back because I'll have a newborn. She was sweet, good at conversation but wasn't chatting the whole time so I was really able to relax! I will 100% book with her again. I'm so glad I found this place. read more
