However, the person who prepped my nails and put on the acrylics was quite rough, and it was painful at some points, so I took a star off for that. Have never been here before and was wanting to treat myself to a gel mani-- cuz working full time and attending grad school + internship has been daunting... Covid precautions are not 100% what they should be. Hand sanitizer not readily available on high touch surfaces. Seemed to be 2 employees working on a Saturday however, the wait wasn't too terribly long. I was called to sit down at a station and hit several warning signs. There were chunks of old nails that were clipped off someone that were all over the desk. The machine they use was covered in nail filings. I should have gotten up and left at this point but I didn't. I don't think the instruments that were used were sanitized.... as when she got done using them on me, she put them back in the drawer. That's not even the worst thing, the following incident is where I lost my cool: when she pulled out the cuticle clippers and there was dead skin on them from a previous client. She wiped off the dead skin and started to use them on me. No thanks. I won't ever be back. Not too mention, not even 24 hours after my nails were done, they started chipping. This is a GEL mani and I am not hard on my nails (nails are jewels, not tools). Anyway, $30 for a unsanitary mani with polish that chips in 24 hours is a no-go for me. read more

Aweful. For a $45 "deluxe" pedicure my toe nails where chopped to no tomorrow and the person was rough as hell. The chair didn't slide back far enough for me to actually be comfortable so I was basically sitting knees to chest for 30 minutes. I provided a picture of a shamrock super simple to paint on my big toes and it's upside down and honestly looks like a pot leaf. It was so bad that I actually said just draw a heart on the other toe forget it and then she painted that on upside down too so I made her fix it. Full disclosure, I am a licensed Nail Tech. With that being said, when the tech found out, it didn't change how he was doing anything. First off, their COVID protocols are almost non-existent. They had people switching between seats without sanitizing, using the same files on other people, not changing gloves... Honestly as a licensed Nail tech, I was so disappointed, and embarrassed myself. My boyfriend paid for me to get my nails done, which I usually do them myself but didn't feel like doing them, so he thought this would be a nice treat.... I asked for medium coffin length nails. They were all mis-shaped, and crooked. He cut me pretty deep with the hand file as well....I also asked for foil on 4 nails. Their sets start at $30, I also had a gel polish removal, which was done okay. She pushed a little too hard on my natural nails, but she buffed off the top coat and then soaked them. I was afraid she was going to just drill it all off as the gel was on my natural nails. As far as artwork goes, I referred to the photos that people posted and asked them for an acrylic flower I saw, and they said they couldn't do it... Anyways, I ended up redoing my nails myself, and sent my boyfriend and picture and he definitely saw a difference between what I left here with, and me fixing them on my own. Friendly people, but as far as how they're operating, it's disappointing. read more

I got a pedicure and my daughter was only supposed to get polish on her hands, no manicure but they went ahead and did one any way and charged me of course for the $25 manicure. The nail techs were very nice and the lady did a great job on my pedi, didn't try to up sale me and actually gave a massage. I would've given 5 stars for the quality of my pedi if they wouldn't have done a full manicure since thats not what we asked for. The ambiance is nothing special or relaxing but if you want a good pedi then it's a good place! I always do gel polish but decided to do regular polish to keep the cost down and my polish hasn't chipped at all yet and it's been a week now! I will return for pedicures. read more

Everyone I watched come in and leave while I got the full treatment was treated properly in every aspect. Thuy and Hai are a fabulous pair providing a pampered feeling with lower rates than competitors. I stopped going here a few years ago and realized I never gave a review. The female owner is extremely narcissistic and was difficult to sit with due to her blathering on about herself and her own beauty. She would stop in the middle of a manicure and start to pray for me without asking my permission ( I am agnostic). They also ran late a lot and I made appointments two weeks in advance. They also played music so loud no one could talk to each other-and I'm someone who likes loud music! The last straw was when she made me wait over 30 minutes because she took a walk-in who arrived a few minutes after I got there and I had an appointment. This walk-in was so belligerent and loud so I think that is why she picked her over me -intimidated? idk. Two of her employees actually complained to me about how mean and insulting she was to them. On top of all, this her skills were mediocre. Her husband was very sweet and good with the customers. If the owners now are different than 3 years ago, this does not apply to them. read more
