Wonderful massages from Katherine! Wow! I've been having massages my whole life, and she is one of the best I've experienced. She is very good at what she does She makes crunchies go away and is not afraid to go deep if you request it. I find it very difficult to leave the room afterward because my body is like Jell-O; I must fight falling to sleep. She went beyond the call of duty recently when I fell on the way to the appointment: she bandaged my scraped-up knee. If I could give zero stars I would, the one star is for the cleanliness of the facility. I said I wasn't going to post a review, I just wouldn't go back but after 3 days and $165 I am very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment with Julie at 11am for a spa gel mani and pedi for $125. I was on time and the pedicure bowl was waiting for me. I sat for the pedicure and she began the services. She wasn't talkative but that was fine I was on a webinar call so it didn't bother me at first. I was watching how uncomfortably she was holding the cuticle cutter so I knew I wasn't going to be thrilled with this pedicure. I'm looking at all the dry skin that's still around my nail beds as well as the side of my big toes. I asked her to trim more skin and she responded "I think I got it all because I did it already but I will get some more." I explained how the skin grows over my nail bed and she proceeded to take a tool and pass it over the surface of my skin saying she didn't see anything. (I have pictures and videos from the next day, awful!) It's time for the hot towel and she shakes the towel so much that it is cool when applied to my legs. She asks me if it's too hot and I respond it's not hot at all; no effort was made to get another towel nor did she give a reason why she would wrap and leave a cool towel. Almost 2 hours later, we start the nail service and she tells me, I don't usually deal with acrylic so I will have to charge you more to soak it off. I said fine because most places do charge and extra $5-10 to soak off acrylic nails. She charged me $40 extra and did NOT tell me until it was time to pay for the service! And let's NOT forget that she did not properly soak off the acrylic. There were still piles on ALL my nails. When I bought this to her attention before she painted them, she said it shouldn't be a problem or look weird because she would seal it nicely. My nails have GLOBS of gel polish, so uneven, and unsatisfactory! I am from Louisiana and have been getting gel manis and pedis for the last 16-17 years so I am very aware of what they should look like after. This was the most expensive gel mani and pedi I have ever paid for and by far the worst! $165 no tips, no designs, no acrylic, no dip, just a very dissatisfying experience. read more

I go to Pure about once or twice a month and have been for the last year. I exclusively see one girl -- Alex. She has done both my gel manicure and pedicure with patience and a detail-oriented eye. She has made sure to capture my wishes and listen to my ideas, even if they are a little goofy. I absolutely love what I leave the salon with every single time. Alex is an amazing professional and sets up my appointment in advance with reminders in between. She is always on time yet has been gracious enough to forgive my occasional lateness and re-scheduling with little issue. I have never had another service done at this Spa, although I see very happy customers every time. It's only Alex's work that brings me back again and again. I have been here a few times for brow waxes, and it's always a great experience. I have been waxed by both Carole and Brianna, and they were both funny, professional, and skilled at their work. They are also super understanding. When a meeting with my boss went late and I had to reschedule at the time of my appointment, they got me in for later in the day without a penalty or chastising me. Brianna is the woman to see for all waxing needs! After moving to Spokane from the Bay Area I was disappointed with the limited number of waxing salons, Spokane has not caught on to the amazing-ness that waxing is. After trying a few different places in Spokane I stumbled upon Pure, specifically Brianna. She was a game changer! Probably the best wax I have gotten both in Spokane and the Bay Area. Her prices are great, she is loyal o returning customers, is flexible if I need to text her for an appointment change, and is good at her job. She uses a great wax, which makes a huge difference, and she knows how to use the wax in a way which reduces the pain. During the process she provides great conversation and remembers things that I have told her from the previous session. She is also honest. I prefer to go 4-5 weeks between waxes, but she insisted that I would be wasting money and I would get a better wax if I waited 5-6 weeks. Even though that time frame would put me at the outer edge of the time frame for a clean up, she still only charges me the cleanup price. Although it took me awhile to find Brianna, I will not be trying to find a new person for all my waxing needs, Brianna is stuck with me. Give her a try and you will not be disappointed! read more

I have been here several times so I can definitely write a review lol. I have seen Carole for a Brazilian and she does a great job. I can't say it's not painful, but with her it's not so bad. She tries to keep you occupied with conversations to make the process seem faster. It usually takes about 15 min total. I had Kathryn do a deep tissue massage. She did an amazing job (I almost fell asleep from the leg massage part, I was too relaxed haha). She also informs you that she can adjust if you want more or less pressure. But I'm really glad she took my knots out, with my problem area being my neck and shoulders. So yeah, try them out :). Those are the only services I've tried by far. read more

Carole is so amazing! She is friendly, professional, and thorough. I am a huge baby when it comes to waxing but she gets the job done quickly and is very encouraging -- I've had experiences at other places where the waxer has actually gotten mad at me for being nervous about the pain. I also like the combination that she uses of hard and soft wax. Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment with her on short notice because she books out in advance, probably because she is so great! So my advice would be to book a week or so early if you have schedule constraints. She also offers online scheduling which is super convenient and user friendly. The facility is clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. I have always been in and out within 10-15 minutes. Would not go anywhere else in Spokane but to Carole! read more

I always come here to get my Brazilians done. You have to book an appointment ahead of time, some times I call the day of and they usually have an open spot to take you in. Excellent first time experience! I had read a bunch of reviews and finally decided Carole was the woman to see! You need a password to get into the building but I felt completely safe walking from my car to the salon. Walked inside, was greeted by some soft music and had a cup of coffee while I waited for Carole to finish up with her previous appointment. Cute place! I was a little nervous at first but Carole just talked to me like staring at someone's hairy you know what was nothing to her so it wasn't awkward at all for me. I got a full Brazilian so I was prepared to really feel it but it honestly wasn't anything I couldn't handle. She hits the major spots first so there was a little jumping but the appointment went very smoothly! Plus there's this almond oil you rub all over after and let me just say I am soooo smooth it's ridiculous. I don't know if it's the oil or waxing itself but I honestly don't want to go back to shaving now lol. And I feel so clean! I love it. Great price ($50) compared to other salons in the area and she offers a clean up for $45 if you come back in 4-6 weeks. What a beautiful gem intimately tucked away. I had booked an appointment for my very first Brazilian to get ready for a very special weekend. The date I had thought I booked was a few days prior. I arrived for my appointment and discovered that I had accidentally set the appointment for the following Monday! In a panic, I asked if there was any way I could be squeezed in, as this was the only day I would be able to have this done. Carole informed me that she was actually just leaving to head out of town. She must have seen the sadness in my eyes because she promptly said "you know what? Let's do this!" I was shocked and oh so very grateful! Not only did she make time for me to make my special weekend perfect, but she was so very kind and walked my terrified self through everything. The five stars earned by this establishment are well deserved. I will be returning as a regular and spreading the word. The prices are perfect. The atmosphere is welcoming and the spa is beautiful.
