I had an appointment for a pedicure. I got there on time, sat and waited for 25 minutes. The entire pedicure from start to finish lasted 11 minutes. 11 minutes! Toenails were cut crooked, polish was sloppy and on painted onto my toes. Worst pedicure I've ever had. Hope others have a better experience. read more

I requested acrylic almond french tips full set since i had no nails beforehand and they did not disappoint! I actually asked for frosty white acrylic with white french tips (white on white) but the nail tech thought i might not be happy with it if i could not see the contrast well enough so I went with just almond french tips. I told her i wanted them as thin as possible. Also, there's was no special manicure, just a buff, and then straight to glue & nail tips. I never know if they are going to focus on my cuticles and everything so I did come ready with my cuticles cut and nails bare so that could also be why they didn't feel the need to do anything special. I did not have an appointment however a lot of women came in with nail appointments. I waited a total of 8 minutes to be seen and honestly some women who had appointments and who came in a bit early had to wait double the time as I did so I don't know how helpful an appointment is, especially at a busy time like 11AM. The vibe of the salon was 4/5, maybe not as trendy as NBT Studio nails or anything like that but for a typical nail salon it was definitely on the cleaner more stylish side. They had a tv going and all the ladies working seemed to really be enjoying their jobs so that was very nice to see. There was also about 6 women working so a bit more than typical but probably because they do such a good job. My nail technician was Pauly or Pauley and my full set french tips with almond shape were $65 plus a $10 tip. Totaling $75 and the appointment took about 1 hour and 35 minutes. read more

I'm not the type to write reviews, but I actually went out of my way and made an account to review this place. I've been coming to this nail salon in Spokane for months. I had Tina wax my eyebrows for the first time, and then I explained to her that I preferred the front of my eyebrows not to be taken off, and then I waited about 2 months for my eyebrows to grow back so I could come back again and get them redone. She refused me service after I very kindly explained what I'd like done different this time. She told me she isn't comfortable because of how picky I am and that I should go see someone else, even though these ladies have been seeing me for manicures and pedicures since January of this year. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'm not looking for someone to charge me an arm and leg to wax a few strands of hair off my face. My eyebrows are very blonde, and I am super ginger and have very light soft features, so I'm purely picky because of that. But I'm blown away that someone would literally refuse me service because I kindly explained what I wanted different this time. Ivy did my nails for my upcoming vacation & I LOVE THEM! She definitely knows what she's doing 10/10! She was kind when I asked her to file a little more here & there but I didn't have to all that much because she was pretty spot on the first time. The shop had great vibes & I stayed entertained by the TV throughout the hour & 15 minutes I was there. I've been going to Tina Nails for a few years now and I still love them. I enjoy the atmosphere of listening to the ladies talking to each other. I can't understand them but you can tell the conversation is amiable, not like they're talking about clients as I've found in a few other shops. My usual tech moved away, so the owner, Tina, added me to her list of clients. They always have videos playing of life in Vietnam. Unfortunately, I'm always hungry when I leave, after watching them. I wish I could put 0 stars. I went back into the salon and asked them to fix my nails that they just did a couple of days ago because the white had formed bubbles under the top coat that were brown and looked awful. Tina then tried to scrape off the bubbles and told me they looked "shiny" and there were no bubbles after I asked her to fix them again. She refused to redo them and tried making me pay again. She claimed I only wanted her to fix them because it was not "valentine's day anymore". It was not until I broke down crying that someone else came and painted my nails again. Tina then told me that she would "never do this again" for anyone. I have never felt so belittled in my entire life and I would never recommend this salon to anyone. read more

In all my years of getting my nails done this was the WORST experience of my life!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! I had Amy working in my nails and I wanted an acrylic overla because I had grown my nat nails out and didn't want them breaking anymore. I got there and after Amy applied the acrylic she went under with a tiny drill and literally broke off all my nails(she did it to all 10 fingers). I was rushing to a doc apt so wasn't really paying attention but realized when I got home. Called the store for a refund and explained what happened and the owner basically laughed in my face and told me there's nothing she can do about it and that it wasn't her workers fault and told me "go ahead hunny and leave a bad review ". like the the act F???? What service industry does this??? Your worker broke my damn nail I worked so hard to grow and the shit look a damn mess, I asked a square and it's all slanted and the polish all all smudged over the sides of my nails. WORST SERVICE EVER! Save your money and time and go somewhere else. If I could rate it less than a star I would! I've never wrote a bad review in my life. but i have to say i've been going here for awhile now but i wont be anymore. i went to get a fill and my acrylics were coming up so she went to take my nails off to start a new set and ripped off part of my natural nail and it was bleeding. i was going to just walk out since part of my nail was off and wouldn't stop bleeding but they did them anyway. they proceeded to tell me that my nails would be $90 but they were going to charge me $80 because of the nail incident and that was more than i've ever paid for my nails there. and then when i went to check out the girl literally got out of her chair to look at how much i was tipping so i felt obligated to tip a good amount. anyway they do a decent job at nails i was just put off by the whole experience read more

I'm from out of town and was hoping to get my nails done. I called in the morning to make an appointment at 4pm, showed up at my appointment time and they had booked to many appointments and took everyone who walked in. They were not good at time management and I sat there for 30 minutes after my appointment with no help. I will never recommend this place or come back when I visit Spokane again. Also calling someone "sweetheart" or "honey" doesn't make up for bad service. read more

I just went here for the first time my daughter and I. They are a newer salon and the facility was so clean and they were so welcoming. They were able to take us as walkins which is sometimes a red flag for me, but not at this place! They were very skilled at what they did fast and the acrylic was thin and quality. They even suggested doing powder dip on my daughters nails as they would last longer. The other nail salon that we frequent and I have been given glowing reviews to in the past has become harder and harder to get through to and they don't seem to really care about retaining us as clients. Which is fine, as the valley is a much longer drive for us. We are very excited to have possibly found a new nail home! The salon is located in a business strip with good parking which is a plus. When you come in, the salon is clean and I love that they apply liners to their foot soakers. My husband is a diabetic and his toe nails have thickened over the last few years. The lady doing my husband's pedicure said he should be seen by a podiatrist because his big toe nails appear to be coming off. She's good because we're actually due to have an appointment with a podiatrist to see what else needs to be done with hubby's toe nails. She did a good job of filing his toe nails. Absolutely love this place 4 out of 5 times, but today I had a question about the price. When I asked why there was a price difference from the last time I had visited, just two weeks ago, she explained, and I said, OK, but then, right in front of me, they all had to speak about it as if I had done something wrong and then I felt extremely embarrassed as they all grumbled about my question. Did not help that the lady who actually did my nails did not speak a word of English, which I do not have a problem with, but then, when I questioned it, I was looked at like I was crazy. I went in for a manicure and was pleased with the result and gave a generous tip. The next day in less than 24 hours the whole sheet of polish just fell off, not just chipped but it all came off. I didnt do anything to cause this. I went back in today to let Tina know and all she said was do you want to pay for another manicure. First time I went here, I did not have a good experience. Terrible customer service, especially considering a first time customer. However, finding decent nail salons in Spokane has been found to be difficult. I'm big on details. That's what we pay for right? Nonetheless, I decided to try this salon again since my first visit they were able to do a nail design, which had been difficult for other previous shops. P.S. Charging $10 for nail take off is ridiculous to me when other services are being provided such as new set, gel, etc. Then, the second visit...the customer service, again, was subpar from the second I walked in. When getting a pedicure, I let the lady know that I have ingrown toenails. She brushed me off and said she'd take care of it. Her idea of removing ingrown was cutting the corner of my toenail. I've had my fair share of pedicures and removing ingrown requires much more than this. Also, when done properly or even somewhat, it brings instant relief. She also did not clean under my toenails. Then while doing my nails, another customer interrupts because they had to go. The technician then rushes my nails. I left feeling like I paid for polish change and to be rushed. Not to mention, the entire time I was in there, the ladies snickered and talked in their language to each other--completely disregarding any customer service to anyone. I don't mind spending money on these services. However, much of that stems from the experience--pampering, mellow, calm environment and getting provided the full service--not half a..!
