Went in with a friend for pedicures.. She said to sit down in a chair and started the hot water "soak" while we waited for her to get done with a nail customer. We sat there for over an hour "soaking" before she even started our pedicures. We originally said we could come back and she said..No no.. we can take you. But why make us sit there for an hour? The pedicure chair was old and I felt like I was constantly falling out of it. Then when we finally were able to get a pedicure I felt like she rushed and couldnt wait to get rid of us. My dip nails only lasted 3 days. They immediately chipped the day after as i was getting my coffee. One nail started coming off the day after as well and i dont do much work with my hands for that to happen. I was given a nail sticker decor after I specifically said no thank you, i dont want anything else on my nails, she then proceeded to say "it's free today" honey it shouldve been free regardless since i didnt ask for it. I was judged because i wanted to keep my nails short and keep my natural nail instead of adding tips on them. I don't like wearing or having acrylics. The main reason people go into a nail salon is to look good, feel good, not only did I come out of VIP Nails feeling ripped off but I felt like I was completely disrespected in regards to the staff. I paid $60 for a horrible pedicure then the staff pointed and laughed with each other in their language as I tried to express my concern over the treatment that I was receiving This was my third visit there and they were mediocre at best in the past but today they were horrible. They started my pedi then left to work on someone else. Came back to put the cool gel and paraffin wax on then completely forgot about me. Women who came in after me were done and leaving. As I sat there and had to ask, "Can someone please finish my pedicure?" And the thing about it is they laughed and tried to act like they didn't understand English and as if they don't understand what is being asked or requested. They definitely understand what money is and it's criminal that they get away with providing such crappy service. I wish I could give them a zero as that's how downright disrespectful these women were as a matter fact, I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I went to VIP on Nevada for a pedicure. The woman cut my toenail half way down to the cuticle. There was absolutely no reason for her to do this. It started to bleed and she took a nail scrubbing brush that I'm sure was not sanitized and scrubbed the blood off... she then proceeded to paint my nails the wrong color and when I told her it was the wrong color, every woman that worked in the shop started arguing with me saying I was wrong which... big surprise, I was right. She didn't paint my whole toenail, the edges of them have no polish. She got polish all over my toes as well. I got the #4 that's 42$ with a massage that she gave me for less than 60 seconds. I asked for gel and it went from 42$ to 60$ somehow, then when she rang me up she said it was 65$. Fast forward to that night... the toe that got cut and bled, swelled and turned red hot. My whole foot ended up swelling and today (the next day) it is swollen and is oozing pus. I've cleaned it multiple times with alcohol but it is infected. I'm so incredibly mad. I called them to tell them what was going on and they hung up on me... long story short. DO NOT GO HERE. They are unsanitary, rude and do not take care of their customers. Go anywhere else. They literally gave me an infection and I have to go to the doctor. I will forever tell people to NOT go here. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE ! I had mine for a little under two weeks and I had to get them removed. She glued the extensions onto clusters of my natural lashes. It got really irritating and my eye lids started to swell. My Aunt and I had a bad experience having them put it. I have no idea what she kept pulling out (was painful), and our eyes burned afterwards. They do pretty good job with nails if you show them what you want. I liked the job they did with my nails. My cousin didn't know what she wanted and she ended up paying more for what she thought was an ugly job. read more

I think if there's going to be more than a 10 minute wait that it should be disclosed to you prior to sitting down taking off your shoes and putting your feet in hot water. I walked in when they were busy, and they directed me to a chair promptly and I didn't have to wait long for someone to start the pedicure. It's a normal nail salon, nothing fancy. So happy to have found this place! Just got a fresh full set of acrylic nails from "Sue". They are amazing! She took her time and paid extra attention to the shape and smoothness of each nail. Then took extra time to condition my cuticles. Lovely shop, very neat, tidy and clean. Nice group of woman who work there. I was looking for a place to my nails done at and a lot of people told me to go to Amy at VIP Nails, so I decided to go there and had Amy do my nails. I've only had my nails done one other time so I didn't really know what to expect. Anyways she finished doing my nails and I look at them and they look horrible. They're chunky, uneven at the cuticles and she put like five coats of pink nail polish on. My thumb nail was totally messed up and uneven at the cuticle and I asked her to fix it and she filed it and made it look even worse. I'm thinking are you serious I'm gonna be paying $45 for these. I came here as a bridesmaid with the bride to get our nails done before her wedding and boy were we disappointed. Employees are beyond rude. Birth of our nail techs constantly tried to talk us into getting things on our nails that we repeatedly said no thank you to. My gel manicure looks like a 12 year old did them. Hey are bumpy. My beautiful long nails are now chopped down and uneven. And when both the bride and I said we did not like our nails nothing was done to try to fix them. They simply asked for our payment. They didn't even try to fix our nails. The bride got a French tip acrylic with pink and white powder and her lines are uneven, acrylic thickness uneven, and her powder even yellow after the top coat of polish was applied. My pedicure was sloppy- gmy cuticles weren't trimmed, I had to ask for my toe nails to be cleaned, she did not use toe separators and so my paint was smudged and all over my feet. I had to ask her to repaint most of my toes and then they quickly had us pay and leave. My toes smeared and i had to go buy $10 toe polish so that I have passable toes at the wedding. I was in town to visit my daughter & called 5 nail salons first who were all booked. Well, let's just say I now know why VIP had 2 openings. They were accommodating in that they let my daughter & I sit together. I opted for my own color I brought with me. They were not happy about that- probably because a regular fill costs less than a gel fill. My acrylic fill is horrible. It's uneven and had to go home and get a new fill at my regular place the next day. Salon was also not clean. Had I known, I would have passed all together. :( read more

I called VIP around 4 today (a Sunday) after our other nail salon was too busy. I asked if they had room for 2 pedicures around 415 and they told us to come on over. I looked on Yelp and the reviews were good, so we decided to do it. When we got there, there was a sign on the door that said they closed at 4. My roommate and I went in, and they seated us right away. We didn't ask questions about the sign since they had told us a few minutes earlier it was ok and almost all of the chairs were full. We both got our pedicures and mine had a great massage, but my toenails look awful. There are spots on every one of my toes that doesn't have polish on it because they were rushing to leave. While we were still getting our toes done, the woman came over and told us "you pay now so we can go home". My roommate and I are both in nursing school and have been planning a relaxing pedicure for weeks now... Just had to wait until after our most recent test. I was really disappointed in being so rushed, and with a poor paint job. Next time, I will opt to wait for an appointment at our other salon. For anyone who is going to come here: most of the staff was really nice. Prices are good. Cleanliness was decent but questionable when they took my used toe separators and put them back in the bin of new ones. Just make sure you go when they are not close to closing. read more

I give 4 stars because I do love this place. I went to VIP for about a year. 90% of the time my nails looked excellent. Recently I had less than stellar experience. The gal doing my nails (Sue) has always done a wonderful job on my nails, until recently. She used to take her time, then a little clock appeared at her station, and it seemed like she was watching the clock. Which was causing her to not do certain steps and my nails suffered for it. I had also had my nails done by Katy, she did a quick fast good job, but she will be becoming a stay at home in May 2016. The staff is wonderful, so friendly and welcoming it hurts me to have to find another place to get my nails done. There are so many nail tips to choose from and an abundance of gel colors to keep your imagination engaged. Amy is an absolute doll! read more

We were told to pick a color and sit down to get our pedicures. Three women show up and the employee tells us the other women have an appointment and they would be first. We waited for 30 minutes, when we were told the wait would 20, then to be told we would have to wait for three other people. We left, and will never be back.
