The website: this is an awesome place to purchase for used verhicle. i have greet experience using the website to look, compare, and get pre-approved on their website. Customer service is amazing: i came to the store in N. Austin to purchase the car that i got pre-approved for but i changed my mind in the last minute then Susan Pruett and Anderson (Carmax in the S.Austin) helped me out. I feel extremely impressive of how professional and diligent Anderson was when he gives me detail information about the car and also give me space And time to make decisions.

Wow. Stunned. Went to get service done as I purchased a vehicle from them less than 6 months ago. These people are cruel. CRUEL. They said they couldn't help me because they didn't have any service people working today. (Wtf????) Look at the wheel in my pics! They didn't even offer to help put on my goddman SPARE TIRE despite me offering to pay. So because they didn't even help me get a tow truck, I drove my ass to the nearest discount tires (luckily it was only 5 mins down the road) but now there is more damage to my vehicle than it had initially when I pulled into Carmax. FUCK THIS PLACE. I wish my car had died anywhere else besides this hell hole. I am personally referring to a tall, middle aged, african american man with a dad gut.

We just traded in two cars for a nice suv. Kevin Dao was our Sales Consultant, but I must he was more of a wizard. He helped my mother with the sale of my deceased father's vehicle. The complicated title situation has been holding up this sale for about a year now. Even the dealership that the vehicle came from were unable to help. Thanks to Kevin and CarMax, we were able to get that vehicle sold, along with another extra car we had. The entire process was almost effortless. I highly recommend this CarMax location. If at all possible, ask for Kevin Dao. I cannot speak highly enough of him.

Very nice CarMax sales office and services. Had a very nice experience talking to several employees. They are very well organized! The facility looks super clean and like brand new. I had an appraisal done to my vehicle and the offer was about $2,000 below of what I expected. Oh well, still liked the business!

Enterprise did not fail me in reference to the experience. I ended up rescheduling my appointment that I had a previous day due to all the events going on and wrapping up paperwork for a car accident that I recently had in a car that I purchased this year as well. The best experience was really understanding what I was purchasing and signing for again, and the fact that I have an upgrade from what I had previously had a lower price. I'm very grateful for the experience and the test drive and the openness that was provided in this journey. Finally, did you know that when you rent a enterprise car and then decide to purchase one of their cars off of the sale lot, they will take care of the rental for you and you don't have to worry about going to get this car dropped off. It's always the service environment for me. Everyone was really friendly. The managers and the supporting Financial staff were very communicative and helpful in the quick transition of the new purchase.

Right from the jump, he was incredibly straightforward. There was zero pressure, zero hassle, and absolutely no need to waste time haggling over the price. He gave it to us straight, which is so rare and refreshing in the car-buying world. Our Finance Manager, Michael was equally amazing. Financing a vehicle can usually feel like pulling teeth, but Michael made it a breeze. He was efficient, thorough, and just a great guy to talk to. I still can't believe it, but we spent a grand total of only three hours at the dealership. That included the test drive of three used Sequoias, picking the one we liked out of the three, the vehicle inspection, and getting all the final paperwork squared away with finance. We've all heard or experienced the horror stories of spending 6 to 8 hours at a dealership, but Chris and Michael valued our time and had us on the road in a flash. What stood out to us the most was the sheer respect we received. Walking into dealerships can sometimes feel intimidating, but Chris and Michael provided a truly delightful customer experience without a single ounce of judgment or prejudice. They treated us like family from the moment we walked through the doors. We love our new (used) Sequoia Capstone and we can recommend Toyota of Cedar Park without a doubt. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

During one of my daily searches on Auto Trader a new listing popped up for Mark Weinstein Motors. It was a "unicorn" vehicle - rare in existence - an older model, incredibly low mileage, in fantastic shape (barely driven) and the listed price was in the KBB green price range (either good or great price for the vehicle's value). I reached out to Mark, who was quick to answer any and all my questions. I was in Houston and I couldn't make the trip to Austin to see the vehicle until the weekend, but he graciously agreed to hold the vehicle for me without any downpayment once I had set an appointment for a third party inspection. Despite receiving other inquiries about the vehicle, he held it for me for almost a week and even stayed a little late on Friday for my husband's and my arrival into town. The test drive and purchase process were smooth and straightforward. Mark explained everything thoroughly and even went the extra step of fixing the temporary paper license plate on top of an old metal plate to make it more secure. It's another example of Mark's great customer service. Like his great communication from start to finish - phone calls and text messages were always answered promptly. That should be the standard. Instead, it feels exceptional. When Carvana gave me a quote that was way higher than I expected -- higher than what I had seen from Edmunds and KBB -- I naturally assumed the usual nonsense was coming next. That's what modern business trains you to expect: a nice number online, then the second you show up in person they start finding excuses to shave it down. But Carvana didn't do that. They didn't play games. They didn't punish a minor issue. They didn't turn the process into a negotiation circus. They just handled business like competent, honest adults. The online process took me 15 minutes total. I answered the questions and got a quote. I then uploaded my driver's license and odometer reading, signed the digital title, and picked a time to go to Carvana. That was it. No maze. No nonsense. No pointless back-and-forth. Then I got there, they quickly checked my car to make sure what I said about it was accurate, and I was out in about 25 minutes. Twenty-five minutes. That alone should embarrass all the traditional car dealerships. No half-day hostage situation. No disappearing into the back room. No fake manager routine. They checked the car, handled everything professionally, and within about 6 hours the direct deposit was already in my bank account and available. That kind of speed and follow-through is so rare now that it almost feels unreal. That's what made this experience so compelling. Not just that they paid the quote, but that they didn't play games, they didn't punish a minor issue, the process was fast, simple, and respectful, and they gave me the rare feeling that I was dealing with a company that was actually competent and honest. Carvana didn't just buy my car -- they restored my faith that a business can treat people decently, keep its word, and make life easier instead of harder. At this point, not trying Carvana first would honestly feel stupid. I haven't bought a car from Carvana, so I can't speak on that side of the business. But after this experience, I can say without hesitation that I would never sell or trade in another vehicle without trying Carvana first. Carvana is clearly at another level. P.S.
