The website: this is an awesome place to purchase for used verhicle. i have greet experience using the website to look, compare, and get pre-approved on their website. Customer service is amazing: i came to the store in N. Austin to purchase the car that i got pre-approved for but i changed my mind in the last minute then Susan Pruett and Anderson (Carmax in the S.Austin) helped me out. I feel extremely impressive of how professional and diligent Anderson was when he gives me detail information about the car and also give me space And time to make decisions.

Wow. Stunned. Went to get service done as I purchased a vehicle from them less than 6 months ago. These people are cruel. CRUEL. They said they couldn't help me because they didn't have any service people working today. (Wtf????) Look at the wheel in my pics! They didn't even offer to help put on my goddman SPARE TIRE despite me offering to pay. So because they didn't even help me get a tow truck, I drove my ass to the nearest discount tires (luckily it was only 5 mins down the road) but now there is more damage to my vehicle than it had initially when I pulled into Carmax. FUCK THIS PLACE. I wish my car had died anywhere else besides this hell hole. I am personally referring to a tall, middle aged, african american man with a dad gut.

We just traded in two cars for a nice suv. Kevin Dao was our Sales Consultant, but I must he was more of a wizard. He helped my mother with the sale of my deceased father's vehicle. The complicated title situation has been holding up this sale for about a year now. Even the dealership that the vehicle came from were unable to help. Thanks to Kevin and CarMax, we were able to get that vehicle sold, along with another extra car we had. The entire process was almost effortless. I highly recommend this CarMax location. If at all possible, ask for Kevin Dao. I cannot speak highly enough of him.

Very nice CarMax sales office and services. Had a very nice experience talking to several employees. They are very well organized! The facility looks super clean and like brand new. I had an appraisal done to my vehicle and the offer was about $2,000 below of what I expected. Oh well, still liked the business!

I showed up to sell my car and received such warm, sympathetic service from Jarrett, Wills, and Reagan from estimate to sale.

You have chosen wisely in procuring your sales team. Big shout out to Hannah (My sales person), Brandi (Manager), Corey, (who took my initial call) Colby, Devonte & Fran for their assistance! Enterprise did not fail me in reference to the experience. I ended up rescheduling my appointment that I had a previous day due to all the events going on and wrapping up paperwork for a car accident that I recently had in a car that I purchased this year as well. The best experience was really understanding what I was purchasing and signing for again, and the fact that I have an upgrade from what I had previously had a lower price. I'm very grateful for the experience and the test drive and the openness that was provided in this journey. Finally, did you know that when you rent a enterprise car and then decide to purchase one of their cars off of the sale lot, they will take care of the rental for you and you don't have to worry about going to get this car dropped off. It's always the service environment for me. Everyone was really friendly. The managers and the supporting Financial staff were very communicative and helpful in the quick transition of the new purchase.

Right from the jump, he was incredibly straightforward. There was zero pressure, zero hassle, and absolutely no need to waste time haggling over the price. He gave it to us straight, which is so rare and refreshing in the car-buying world. Our Finance Manager, Michael was equally amazing. Financing a vehicle can usually feel like pulling teeth, but Michael made it a breeze. He was efficient, thorough, and just a great guy to talk to. I still can't believe it, but we spent a grand total of only three hours at the dealership. That included the test drive of three used Sequoias, picking the one we liked out of the three, the vehicle inspection, and getting all the final paperwork squared away with finance. We've all heard or experienced the horror stories of spending 6 to 8 hours at a dealership, but Chris and Michael valued our time and had us on the road in a flash. What stood out to us the most was the sheer respect we received. Walking into dealerships can sometimes feel intimidating, but Chris and Michael provided a truly delightful customer experience without a single ounce of judgment or prejudice. They treated us like family from the moment we walked through the doors. We love our new (used) Sequoia Capstone and we can recommend Toyota of Cedar Park without a doubt. I will not be doing business with this dealership again and strongly caution others to be very careful if they choose to do so. My wife and I came in to test drive a car and, after the test drive, submitted a credit application--explicitly authorizing a credit pull--with the clear intent to purchase the vehicle. We were told everything was in order and scheduled an appointment the following morning for my wife to move forward with financing and paperwork. At no point were we informed that the vehicle was still at risk of being sold. While my wife was on her way to completing the financing process, she received a call informing her that the vehicle had been shown to another couple and sold. This occurred despite our salesperson clearly communicating to management that this deal was essentially set. That information was dismissed, and management allowed another salesperson to show and sell the vehicle without extending us even the courtesy of a phone call to give us the opportunity to finalize the purchase--which we absolutely would have done. I work with dealerships regularly in my profession, and while you hear stories like this, you hope they are exaggerated or rare. Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise. When I raised the issue with management, the response felt scripted, dismissive, and entirely policy-driven, with no ownership or genuine concern for how poorly this was handled. It became very clear that the priority was selling the vehicle as quickly as possible, regardless of fairness, professionalism, or existing commitments. The message sent was simple: once a faster or more convenient sale appears, an active and committed customer is expendable. That reflects a lack of integrity in both process and leadership. I previously had a positive experience purchasing from Toyota of Cedar Park, which makes this situation even more disappointing. This was not a failure of the salesperson I worked with--it was a management decision, and it speaks volumes about how business is conducted there. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. If you choose to do business here, proceed with caution and do not assume that verbal assurances, credit applications, or scheduled appointments mean anything unless a deal is fully executed. This dealership and its management team should be ashamed of themselves!

I looked for months for a new (used)…read morevehicle, purchased many carfax reports, researched and test drove, spoke with many sales individuals, and sacrificed many hours to the negotiation waiting games with the sales managers. During one of my daily searches on Auto Trader a new listing popped up for Mark Weinstein Motors. It was a "unicorn" vehicle - rare in existence - an older model, incredibly low mileage, in fantastic shape (barely driven) and the listed price was in the KBB green price range (either good or great price for the vehicle's value). I reached out to Mark, who was quick to answer any and all my questions. I was in Houston and I couldn't make the trip to Austin to see the vehicle until the weekend, but he graciously agreed to hold the vehicle for me without any downpayment once I had set an appointment for a third party inspection. Despite receiving other inquiries about the vehicle, he held it for me for almost a week and even stayed a little late on Friday for my husband's and my arrival into town. The test drive and purchase process were smooth and straightforward. Mark explained everything thoroughly and even went the extra step of fixing the temporary paper license plate on top of an old metal plate to make it more secure. It's another example of Mark's great customer service. Like his great communication from start to finish - phone calls and text messages were always answered promptly. He is good-natured and honest, which is hard to find in the car shopping business. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!

To the reader saying there must be something. It is through Costco Auto Program. Only two within 400 miles of Houston. One I never contacted in N Texas. The one in Roundrock was an awful experience..., to where even if they matched the price, the people that work there would be either very nice or rude as f. Nobody in Houston came within $5K on price, with many stating over and over again that I'm going to get taken. Nah, lazy people who aren't willing to do their research and drive 6 hours are getting taken. His response after trying to be intimidating (my daughter is 18 by the way...who was driving) was simply, "I'm doing my job" followed by walking away without moving. The delivery guy was courteous and professional. All done in a matter of minutes. Carvana, company-wise, seems well run. Website design, online navigation, purchase process, loan processing, and home delivery went off without a hitch. I was skeptical of making a vehicle purchase solely online. That is a big financial commitment. Plus, being a used vehicle, I typically want to see first-hand that everything is as expected. Lastly, I enjoy grinding down car salesmen for every dollar and add-on :) That said, Carvana has the best quality (and quantity) photos I've seen, and an abundance of vehicle information. Their 3D interior/exterior photos put you in the driver's seat. So, I was not lacking for vehicle details. They called out some flaws (using that word lightly), such as driver's seat decolorization, that I do not see at all. That gives me the impression that they are very conservative with their assessments, which is good. As for price, although I was not happy about a nearly $2000 shipping charge, overall, the final bill was comparable to dealerships countrywide, and better than Kelley Blue Book (or similar). Anyhow, the shipping fee was typical for out-of-state dealerships too (assuming they were willing to ship, many do not because they can sell locally and/or do not want to deal with liability). Overall, I recommend and would buy from them again.
