But what I loved about this location is it had a couple little tables outside and a couple inside she could actually eat your food as it comes off the grill. Well for some reason that has all changed and there are just two chairs which didn't really feel right eating my lunch there so I brought it home and suffered the not right off the grill taste. I'm sure there's a reason, but the burger was still great and it's still on my list for one of the good ones down here. Update, the owner who's a wonderful woman told me the reason that there is no inside dining is a city issue not her choice. That's a great owner to write a Yelper like me and explain why there is no dining options available not her just a city ordinance thank you very much

My usual order (to share between 2 people) is the half bird (5 pieces of chicken) and the mini biscuits with miso maple butter. The restaurant provides a self-serve sauce bar with plenty of sauce options. They also provide large paper towel rolls at each table as well as multiple sinks located around the restaurant so that it is easy to clean your hands after eating! The servers are very attentive.

Santana Burger medium rare was 5 stars all the way, and the fruits that accompanied it were damn…read moregood as well. The Kern brewing Chuuuch IPA was also 5 stars for my taste buds. And our server was fantastic. So why, you might ask, only 4 stars in my review. Two reasons: 1). Management has prohibited giving a splash of a beer for someone to sample. Bottom line is that I wanted to order a pint of beer, but I wanted a splash of a couple of beers to try to make my decision. They refused, saying that one must buy a 5oz taster if one wants to taste the beer. I find that policy offensive. In the end I bought a taster to taste the Chuuurch, and then bought an additional pint after. It just seems nickel and dimey, and would be asking to an ice cream place not allowing one to sample their ice creams before buying a cone. I hope management reconsiders this policy. 2. My wife got the Hot Mess Fries and was disappointed not only in the flavor, but also in the misleading advertising. On the menu it specifically said that there was bacon in the fries, but in fact what they put on the fries was either chunks of ham or "Canadian bacon" (which as we all know is a very different thing from "bacon"). If they were or of regular bacon, the kitchen should have told the server this so he could have asked her if she wanted ham as a substitute. And, of they always use ham instead of bacon, them the menu needs to be changed to reflect that.

BIERGARDEN @ ENCINITAS…read more Parking can be a little difficult since this spot is located right on the main strip in Encinitas. There's parallel street parking throughout the area, so you might get lucky and find a spot nearby. I ended up parking on one of the side streets, which worked out perfectly. I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it was definitely busy. We had to wait a little while for a table because several tables still needed to be cleaned before they could seat new guests. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and we were seated as soon as they could. It did take about 15 minutes before a server was able to come over and take our order, but the restaurant was completely packed, so it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. After spending the day at the beach, we were really just in the mood for drinks. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, which can be served with Tajín, sea salt, or no rim at all. It was really good and definitely on the stronger side, which I appreciated. My only complaint was that there was a bit too much ice, but the flavor itself was great. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, large open windows that let in plenty of fresh air, and a fun, lively vibe that makes it a great place to relax after a beach day. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the ambiance and cocktails, just be prepared for a little wait if you visit during peak hours.

One of the bartenders was tall with big muscles, which is the opposite of my ex who's short and has small muscles. That's right- Paul and I finally split up. So I'm 1000% back on the market. My friend Kaytie threw a "Reverse Bachelorette Party" for me which is why we came to Viewpoint Brewing. Kaytie is still married, but she can have fun behind Brian's back every now and then. Who cares? Men cheat on their wives all the time, so why can't us girls have some fun too every now and then? Especially when it's a reverse bachelorette party. Donna and Tracey were there too. Tracey is kind of old- she's more Kaytie's friend than she is mine, but whatever. I wonder if this is a location on eBird. Yes, I am a dork. I came here years ago while on a business trip and randomly found this place and loved it here. So when a date suggested we come here, I took a look at the venue and remembered what an awesome brewery this is! Date gets some brownie points for chosing this spot, maybe this could go somewhere haha. Parking is a situation here. But if you go past the restaurant, there is some parking on the road and in small lot meant for those enjoying nature. I felt bad taking one of these spots. There is paid public parking on the corner before the restaurant and valet is available at this brewery. I need to figure out another way to get here... On a Sunday afternoon, place had people but it wasnt mobbed. Baseball game and Del Mar horse races were showing on the TVs. But, don't come here to watch TV, look outside! I saw some very good bird action, including an egret doing some weird strutting in the lush greenery. I am bummed I forgot to bring my binoculars but I will be back here again soon with binocs ready! I started off with a hefeweisen and that was good, date had a Mexican lager x 2. I had the ceviche (pretty good) and had the aioli on the side. Date had a sandwich of some kind and copious amounts of fries. It took a lot of will power for me to not have any of those fries, they looked so yummy! I also had a watermelon beer, this had hints of watermelon flavor and I enjoyed it. Great spot for large groups too as there were a few large parties sitting in the "outside" space. Hostess initially asked if we wanted to sit "inside" or "outside," and I was confused as it all looked like outside to me haha. I guess this is SoCal, everything is open air. This is a nice spot to have convo, very spacious, lots of nice tables, we sat at a high top. I love perching higher up, kinda of like a bird haha! Waitresses here were all very good, some very cute too (eye candy is always appreciated). Overall, a really fun way to spend a Sunday summer afternoon! I'll be back!

The beer was delicious and I appreciate the variety they offer. The ranch was also very good.
