Front counter- clean and organized.

It seems a lot of fast food places get poor reviews. This place is no exception. My experience was everything I hoped for. Stopped in for a big Carl combo while out running errands. Montserrat was the friendly lady that took my order. Food arrived in just a few minutes. Fries were hot, my orange soda hit the spot and the burger is delicious. What more can I say. I like this location.

The star of Carl's jr spots. Pretty well kept up spot inside and out. Customer service inside and out have been polite and efficient with orders and customer requests in my few visits here for both but they were at breakfast time. Noticed people reviews having trouble at night with orders. Best part the orders have been correct when switching something up like no cheese in a burrito, or no sauce. And even when switching out the American for some jack or swiss. They do have the green burrito salsa bar. If you like your pico or taco toppings on your breakfast or even burgers get some get some!! They even decorated the store for the fall theme. Plenty of parking around.

Amanda is there Friday Saturday an she's so kool

I go here almost nightly for the past 3/4 years Service is hit or miss but usually pretty good def

***Warning*** I went to this location around 11pm on Tuesday 9/7/2021. I ordered a western bacon cheeseburger meal with crisscut fries. I was quoted $11 something, I don't remember the exact amount. I handed the guy at the window my card and he asked if I wanted a receipt. I made the mistake of saying no. I checked my bank account online a few hours later and saw a charge of $19.36. I doubt I'm the only person this has happened to. Be careful if you plan to visit this location.

Cold and obviously made earlier in the day.
Michael B.

Even when i order a burger with NOTHING on it but cheese they still screw it up by forgetting the cheese. Their solution... slap cold cheese on it and hand it back to me. And they dont understand why thats bad.

I was in the neighborhood so I decided to try this place again. The place is still very bright and clean, and the menu hasn't changed. A wide selection of a lot of different things. Primarily, crêpes and burgers. (of course) I decided to go with the Greek crepe. Cheddar, onions, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and black olives. For my side, I chose the salad. Just as good as before. First of all, the salad, the greens were very fresh, and the vinaigrette had a nice tang to it. It was not overdressed as some people do on salads. The crêpe itself, it was tender, and it was large. They were very generous with the fillings, and everything played well with each other. I was kind of curious about mixing feta and cheddar, but it was amazingly good. The saltines of the feta was a wonderful contrast to the creaminess of the cheddar cheese. Both cheeses went well with the entire crêpe. I was going to try one of the dessert crêpes, but after this thing, I was full. Next time I will come in specifically for a dessert crêpe. Thanks again for another great meal

I picked up the raspberry mango mousse, key lime pie, and madeleines to go, and everything was delicious. The raspberry mango mousse was light and fruity, the key lime pie had that perfect sweet and tangy balance, and the madeleines were a great little treat to take home. Their desserts are beautifully presented, and everything I've tried here has delivered on flavor too. There's something fun about browsing the case and picking out a few different pastries and desserts. It feels like a little taste of a Parisian café with a little Fair Oaks personality mixed in. Rex Tip: Explore beyond your usual order and try something new from the dessert case/ menu they never disappoint. And if you sit outside, don't be surprised if a few chickens wander by your table! We came here after our 5-mile walk near the river, and this place was nearby. There were no customers dining in on a Sunday, very odd. So, we thought we've made a mistake and was about to leave, then one of the waitresses told us that they served breakfast and handed us a menu. The menu was very limited and overpriced! I ordered the lemon buttermilk pancakes with potatoes for $14!!! The menu stated 3 fluffy pancakes with housemade lemon curd with strawberries. What I got was 3 small thinly made pancakes with a tiny serving of lemon curd on the side. If you're going to serve me pancakes, I expect them to be huge and thick for that price! That one tiny strawberry I've got on top of my pancakes was a sad little touch. I expected a few strawberries like the menu stated and only got one! That was not worth my money! My friend ordered their breakfast croissant. This meal was a huge letdown! We could have had a decent breakfast someplace else.

I ordered a mocha and the sweet cheese crepes. My mocha was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolatey! I savored every sip. The real star of the show though, were the crepes. They were perfectly soft but with a slight crisp on the outside just like I like them. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes. It was a large portion of French Toast and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the Ham egg scramble with pancakes. He said his eggs were light, fluffy and very good. His 2 pancakes were large and looked really fluffy too.... I took a bite of his pancake and it has great flavor and was perfectly cooked. I ordered the veggie omelette With Jack cheese. Unfortunately, we left wondering how it has such a high rating. I ordered the Country Scramble. The potatoes seemed boiled rather than fried and were very soft and mushy. That made the entire scramble watery and mushy as well. On the positive side, the sourdough toast was good. The biggest issue, though, was the cleanliness. In the bathroom, I saw three dead cockroaches and what appeared to be rat droppings around the edges of the floor. That was extremely unpleasant and honestly made it difficult to feel comfortable eating there. Based on our experience with both the food and cleanliness, my wife and I would not recommend Hungry Hollow Café, and we would not return. I rarely leave a review like this, but cleanliness in a restaurant is something I take seriously.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.
