It seems a lot of fast food places get poor reviews. This place is no exception. My experience was everything I hoped for. Stopped in for a big Carl combo while out running errands. Montserrat was the friendly lady that took my order. Food arrived in just a few minutes. Fries were hot, my orange soda hit the spot and the burger is delicious. What more can I say. I like this location.

The star of Carl's jr spots. Pretty well kept up spot inside and out. Customer service inside and out have been polite and efficient with orders and customer requests in my few visits here for both but they were at breakfast time. Noticed people reviews having trouble at night with orders. Best part the orders have been correct when switching something up like no cheese in a burrito, or no sauce. And even when switching out the American for some jack or swiss. They do have the green burrito salsa bar. If you like your pico or taco toppings on your breakfast or even burgers get some get some!! They even decorated the store for the fall theme. Plenty of parking around.

Amanda is there Friday Saturday an she's so kool

I go here almost nightly for the past 3/4 years Service is hit or miss but usually pretty good def

***Warning*** I went to this location around 11pm on Tuesday 9/7/2021. I ordered a western bacon cheeseburger meal with crisscut fries. I was quoted $11 something, I don't remember the exact amount. I handed the guy at the window my card and he asked if I wanted a receipt. I made the mistake of saying no. I checked my bank account online a few hours later and saw a charge of $19.36. I doubt I'm the only person this has happened to. Be careful if you plan to visit this location.

Cold and obviously made earlier in the day.

Even when i order a burger with NOTHING on it but cheese they still screw it up by forgetting the cheese. Their solution... slap cold cheese on it and hand it back to me. And they dont understand why thats bad.

Honestly, when you mess up an order that is ONLY chicken tenders and ranch, you need to rethink your life. Very disappointed. Smh

It has become our favorite after church Sunday breakfast spot. The food is fresh and flavorful. Burgers and sandwiches are amazing, but my favorite is the quiche Lorraine which is done crepe style with smoked bacon and caramelized onions. Their soups are always so good as well. The pastry counter if filled with an assortment of fabulous deserts and pastries, from scones to tiramisu. Plenty of indoor seating and lovely patio seating as well. We came here after our 5-mile walk near the river, and this place was nearby. There were no customers dining in on a Sunday, very odd. So, we thought we've made a mistake and was about to leave, then one of the waitresses told us that they served breakfast and handed us a menu. The menu was very limited and overpriced! I ordered the lemon buttermilk pancakes with potatoes for $14!!! The menu stated 3 fluffy pancakes with housemade lemon curd with strawberries. What I got was 3 small thinly made pancakes with a tiny serving of lemon curd on the side. If you're going to serve me pancakes, I expect them to be huge and thick for that price! That one tiny strawberry I've got on top of my pancakes was a sad little touch. I expected a few strawberries like the menu stated and only got one! That was not worth my money! My friend ordered their breakfast croissant. This meal was a huge letdown! We could have had a decent breakfast someplace else.

There was lots of parking right in front of the restaurant that made getting inside super convenient. There was plenty of room for us to sit at a large table with our babies in high chairs & strollers nearby. Inside the cafe is decorated very nicely. The staff were so kind and welcoming too. I ordered a mocha and the sweet cheese crepes. My mocha was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolatey! I savored every sip. The real star of the show though, were the crepes. They were perfectly soft but with a slight crisp on the outside just like I like them. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes. Overall the ambiance, food, and accessibility make this a great spot for brunch! Will definitely be coming back.

There is also a side area to eat, however there were a number of flies buzzing around, which made it unappetizing (this was kept my review from being a full five stars). The indoor area is a mix of dark woods and faux plants, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, there was only one plant-based (vegan friendly) option for me: the cilantro lime avocado toast. This came topped with micro greens and pickled onions, and with a side of potatoes. The portions were very generous for the price and the food was delicious. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the staff were kind. I also ordered an Americano that was good. This spot is like a little hidden green jewel in Citrus Heights. I hope more businesses fill out this complex so they can continue to do well.

I mentioned Fair Oaks Brew Pub as an option I found on Yelp &, as a local, he said it was a great choice. We almost immediately scored street parking only a few doors down. I'd never been to Old Fair Oaks Village before. Looking around, the little town center was more reminiscent of a historic gold country town up in the foothills than Sacramento suburban sprawl. The cutesy charm of the surroundings extended to Fair Oaks Brew Pub itself. Greeted as soon as we walked up, we chose to sit out in their inviting patio area on a perfect Spring day. Our server was along shortly. She was friendly, helpful, & the right amount of attentive. For brew pub fare, we both chose the Risky Burger. Essentially a Western bacon BBQ variation of their regular cheeseburger. Sides were upgraded to onion rings. For the brew, I got their Chicken Foot Pale Ale. Everything was up before long. The Risky Burger was outstanding. Crispy bacon, tasty onion rings (in the burger, as well as on the side), gooey melted cheese, & a perfectly cooked patty just juicy enough to turn the last bite or 2 of the whole burger into a bit of a mess. The Chicken Foot Pale Ale was decent for style, though a little old school in terms of recipe/ malts/ hops. Still, a refreshing pairing for the Risky Burger. All in all, Fair Oaks Brew Pub was a great spot to grab a bite & a beer in an unexpectedly scenic pocket of suburbia.

We weren't asked if we needed refills, how our food was, or if everything came out correctly. At one point, I had to get up and go to the bar myself just to order another drink, which definitely took away from the overall experience. It felt like we were completely forgotten. The atmosphere and food may have potential, but the lack of attentive service made it hard to fully enjoy our visit. Hoping this was just an off night, but it wasn't a great experience.

This time started off a little rough, but in the end they made it right, which is why I'm writing this review. I placed a to-go order for steak, shrimp, and chicken fajitas. The order was repeated back to me correctly when I called it in. When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant was extremely busy and the staff was clearly focused on serving the diners inside first, so my order took about an extra 25 minutes. Not ideal, but understandable given how packed the restaurant was. Unfortunately, when we got home and opened the bag, the fajitas only contained steak -- there was no chicken or shrimp included. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager to explain what happened. At first there was some back-and-forth about possible solutions, including bringing the food back or only replacing part of the order. My husband had already started eating because he was hungry, so returning the food wasn't really practical. To the manager's credit, she took the situation seriously and actually called the owner at home to explain what had happened. Shortly afterward she called me back and let me know the owner approved remaking the entire order correctly at no additional cost. That completely changed the experience. For me, good customer service isn't about the money -- it's about making things right when a mistake happens. Once they stepped in and corrected the situation, it showed they value their customers and their reputation. Mistakes happen at every restaurant, especially when things are busy. What matters is how a business responds. Cantina Azteca ultimately did the right thing, and because of that we will absolutely continue to come back. Thank you to the manager and owner for making it right.
