We had an underwhelming experience at this location. I'll start with the positives. Clean establishment (including the bathroom), easy, free and plentiful parking, big menu of sandwiches, friendly and helpful staff, easy tap and pay that allows an optional tip and one of those flexible Coke machines that dispenses all varieties of all coke products. Where this location loses stars is the food. My husband had the cheesesteak which was "okay". It wasn't particularly flavorful and the sliced American cheese on top was cold. I had their grilled cheese on sourdough, which was three slices of mostly unmelted cheese on untoasted bread. I asked them to put the grilled cheese in the oven a bit longer to allow the cheese to melt. They were very accommodating and brought the sandwich back out to my table. This time the cheese was melted, but the bread was not toasted, leaving it chewy. The sourdough was also lacking in that special taste one expects from that type of bread. I have to shout out Jayden and Natalie for their hustle and customer service. They were slammed right before close with to-go orders and people in person ordering. They had probably 20 sandwiches come in and 30mins until close. When I tell you those girl were busting their butts to get the orders out quickly and still take care of people. While drivers coming in and complaining about time. That had to be so stressful for them and they were still greeting, making sandwiches and taking care of customers. I really don't know what is wrong with this location but it's always something. Went in today around 1:30-1:45 pm for one mini sandwich. First, the manager is clearly overwhelmed and working hard. Another girl was sweeping behind the manager not helping. Manager asks her to make the sandwich for the customer before me. Girl puts the broom down and picks up the bread-without changing her gloves! I informed manager who was taking my order. Manager asks her to change her gloves and dopey girl says I just cut the bread like she did nothing wrong. Manager had to ask her to start over with new bread. Girl is slow as cold molasses. She gave the order she was making to the wrong customer. The person the order was for had to run out of the store and chase her down. Girl was slow and clearly didn't care about her job. Customer who had to run down her order came back and told girl she needed to speed up (store was slammed) and pay attention to her job. Girl had no comment just said she would take a break. The poor manager was trying not to cry. Girl was 17-19 approximately, stupid nose ring and disgusting trashy long pointed finger nails that looked extremely unsanitary. I went here about 4 months ago and got sandwiches for my family of three. I myself got a hot pastrami with provolone cheese but pastrami was very stringy literally so stringy I didn't enjoy the sandwich It was like every bite I had to take it out of my mouth and pull the strings out of it. They have a great location and it makes for the perfect spot for lunch. If you don't like to wait, I recommended ordering online. They're obviously super busy during the lunch hours but the line moves quickly and the workers really strive to work quickly. I came in last week during the lunch hour and the shop was full. I didn't think I'd get out in time to actually enjoy my sandwich but the line moved quickly and I waited less than 10 minutes for my sandwich. I had their hot pastrami and it was drool-worthy. The sandwich was packed with meat and I enjoyed the equal layers of produce. I do feel like their produce options have become limited compared to previous years. This Togos gets pick up and take out orders correct less than 30% of the time. I'm not sure what's so hard about grabbing the correct bag of chips or including avocado on a sandwich or including a cookie in the order, but those are just a few of the things that are constantly messed up. I went back after 3 plus years of not eating one of my favorites. It was good. Instructions were followed & everything was fresh. I hope there are more makers in this location like the one who made my meal last night. I know people think instructions for a sandwich are a bit much, but I think they're fairly easy to learn to make reasonably well but get way F'd up for people if anything goes wrong. I will usually eat an overdone steak before I will eat a sandwich overwhelmed by mustard, or having something I can't take off on it. Thank you for a good sandwich last night. I used to go twice a week and pick up two full sized sandwiches, but they now want $17 dollars PER SANDWICH for what I used to order (with half the pastrami it used to have). Love the sandwiches! I ordered online and got there at the exact time that they said the sandwiches were going to be done. I just didn't understand how my order wasn't done yet.
