Meatball Marinara - not my fave because there's no veggies and it gets soggy
    Kaylee C.

This subway is awesome! The ladies behind the counter were extremely helpful and made me a bomb sandwich. All of the veggies looked fresh, newly replaced and they were cut perfectly. For example the cucumbers and tomatoes were sliced thin, which I prefer. I ordered the Italian BMT (but it also had capicola). I added all the veggies except tomatoes and jalapeños and I also added the garlic aioli and creamy sriracha. On Italian herbs and cheese bread. Soooooo good! I also tried my friend's meatball melt. Not my favorite sandwich because I personally prefer a lot of vegetables and this was just cheese and meatballs. It also gets pretty soggy if you wait to eat it at all. The third sandwich is the subway club. Also really good! It has turkey and roast beef. Other sandwiches I like from subway are the sweet onion teriyaki and the chicken bacon ranch.

If I can I would put ZERO STARS! I ordered 2 foot long sandwiches at subway tonight. WOW, SUPER SUPER DISAPPOINTING!!! The lady who made my sandwhich was very cheap. When it came to adding lettuce, tomato, pickle, cumber on my sandwhichesthere was bearly some. I asked for a little more lettuce on my cold cut sandwhich and end result was soooooo disappointing. All I can say was she was a cheapskate. When she rang me up I gave her a coupon that stated 2 foot long sandwhiches for 12.99. She ranged me up for 13 even. I told her the coupon stated it 12.99. Her reply was, it's just a penny. In the end she still rang me up for 13 even. I dont mind that it was just a penny different but you're cheap and cheating me!!! Stay away from this place if you want a better quality sandwhich and where they honor a posted price on their coupon.

i can not believe the audacity of the male employee who worked 9/23/24! i placed my online order and when i seen how slim my sandwich was i decided to open ot and realized he went very skimp on everything and mind you i literally only asked for spinac, olives, and extra pepper. i passed it off and did not make a fuss of it. my husbands sandwich was super slim and i had to ask him at this point what was going on. i went to counter and spoke to the employe. he said he could not put extra peppers as asked. i found that odd. i asked him what about the mean there was hardly any on there. his reply was that he was going to cancel my order because $23 was not enough for 3 sandwiches that normally cost $7/$8 each. he began to act as if the product came from his paycheck. i told him to look at my pathetic excuse of a sandwich and he said thats how they make it there. i told him just give me my extra peppers and he was even reluctant to do that for me! what got me upset was his excuse that i didnt pay enough according to him and that he was going to cancel my order. he made no sense and still did not offer to remake or add or make it better.

Stingy with the veggies and increased prices-- my sandwich felt empty. Disappointing, especially when they charge so much for a sandwich.

We had the Wild Pitch (Chicken breast with your choice of melted cheese and spicy ranch sauce), the Say Hey Kid (Hot pastrami and your choice of melted cheese), macaroni salad, and soft drinks. The Wild Pitch was on Sourdough (their bread is terrific!), huge in size and was full of chicken chunks. Very tasty and a definite do again. The Pastrami was on Sweet French (once again, wonderful), also huge and loaded with lean, thin sliced, Pastrami (probably from Sysco). I am some what of a Pastrami freak and this definitely wasn't my style. The Mac Salad was not home made and likely straight out of the bucket from Sysco. Basic salad is the best way to describe it. The sandwiches are somewhat limited in terms of proteins. Chicken and turkey dominate the starting lineup with pastrami and roast beef are pinch hitters. Totally missing are the traditional deli standards such as salami, mortadella, ham, and capicola combination sandos. Despite what the website says, they do have fountain sodas. It is Pepsi centered but lacks Pepsi Zero (it does have Diet but not the DW's fav). The website says the Pure Leaf Tea is $2.75 but was billed at $4.00. Better Pastrami and salads would have made this a 5 rating rather than a 4. We will return but only for the bread and chicken/turkey.

I got the text that my sandwich was ready at the same time that they called my name. The sandwich was very good. I liked their aïoli and the vinaigrette, you could tell that they were good quality, meats, and the veggies were very fresh. They were very generous with the fillings. So a local food reviewer on IG recently did this thing online where he visited many local Banh Mi…read moreshops in Sacramento and of course he ranked them. Well he ranked this one very high, in fact it was his number one-so I had to check it out. The shop is located on Arden Way at a small little nondescript strip mall but they do have plenty of parking,so no issue there. Walking up to the shop they do have a few tables on an outside patio for customers to enjoy. Inside the shop it's very clean with a familiar color scheme-thinking In-N-Out/Five Guys. It's very nice in there. The two workers inside were very efficient, the cashier was overly friendly and welcoming and the other, the sandwich maker, was just quietly grinding out sandwiches the entire time-I appreciated that. They have pretty good menu options but I kind of just went traditional with my lunch order. I ordered a crispy pork banh mi.(10.95) I also ordered both the pork and shrimp spring rolls($4.00 x 2 )to try. It wasn't super busy during this lunchtime so I got my order pretty fast, probably under 12 minutes I would say. Let's talk about the food. I always tell people if I had a personal chef,I would have them make me spring rolls every day for my afternoon snack-I love them so much,so I had high hopes for these. The meat on the pork spring rolls was pretty hearty and kind of took over the spring roll but it was still pretty tasty. The shrimp spring rolls though were a standout, the natural taste of the shrimp along with the other fresh ingredients made the shrimp version stand out. I'm relatively new to the world of Banh Mi but in a very short time I feel like I'm all in and have tried more than a few places and definitely have my favorites, when it comes to bread selections and fillings, but I'm still figuring out my palate in the vast banh mi world. That being said-I really loved this banh mi. It was put together so well, pork was well seasoned and crispy,a nice amount of fresh, snappy, yummy veggies and the bread tasted very fresh. I won't say it's my favorite banh mi, because my number #1 spot is pretty locked up but I really enjoyed the sandwich here. This place is so close to my work,I can easily see it becoming my "Go-To" spot for banh mi. I 100% recommend this shop.

It was definitely good, but I don't know if I'd be dying to go back when I think Ike's, Mr. Pickle's, Corti Bros, and maybe even Nugget or Sprouts make more interesting sandwiches.
