I saw autumn squash on the menu so I ordered this to try with my bagel stack order since I had a BOGO $5 rewards deal. WOW, both of these food items pack a punch full of FLAVORS and the chicken is soft and juicy! The sauce in the bagel stack truly is the icing on the cake! The autumn squash is topped with pumpkin seeds. It was exactly what my heart and soul needed. The creamy, delicious, comforting soup is exactly what my hungry belly was screaming for. Service is always excellent here and staff make the dietary modifications I need with my orders. I especially like and appreciate their Panera rewards that I snag delicious deals with through the Panera app! This is the closest Panera Bread to me and I think it is just fine! There's plenty of parking out front in the lot. The restaurant is spacious and clean when you walk in. Ordering is easy. Someone is there to take your order and I believe last time I was here I saw where you can order at a kiosk. If you dine in, you can usually find a seat depending on the time of day you go. I recommend signing up for rewards. I hear there's some decent benefits. I like coming here for soup, salad and sandwiches. It's definitely worth checking out. read more

I dropped off my new car at the auto shop nearby and had time to grab lunch before my rental car pickup. I haven't been to Panera in years because of subpar service and food at other locations. This place was on point in all aspects. The restaurant is open, modern, and casual. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. It was a busy Tuesday around noon so there was a bit of a wait. But it was well worth it. My Southwest salad with grilled chicken was fresh and perfect especially with the avocados and dressing. My sourdough bread was superb with my broccoli and cheese soup although I'm not sure if you legitimately call it soup. Highly recommend! read more

It has been over a decade since I've been to a Panera Bread, so since I've enjoyed past meals there I was eager to try the restaurant again. My tuna sandwich had a tad too much mayo but was easy regardless.. My French onion soup looked like they sprinkled a sparse amount of cheese on top. Panera is always a solid option for lunch! This particular location is a bit small and the parking lot is very crowded, but otherwise I'm always impressed by the service here. They always seem to go above and beyond! I had a coupon for half off entree so I decided to get a You Pick Two lunch and try out some new items. The cheesesteak sandwich was saucy, and I liked that I was able to switch the type of bread for no charge. I also tried their new bacon mac & cheese. It was just as good as the regular one. I always find it funny that you get a baguette on the side even when there's no soup, but I'm not complaining. For me, it's way too expensive. Ordered 1/2 sandwich of the Italian Steak & Mozarella (which is only 5 inches in size) and only filled with some meat, but costs $10.59 (plus tax & tip). Then ordered 1/2 sandwich Garden Caprese Melt (which again is only 5 inches filled with just a little bit of cheese and a couple of sliced tomatos) but costs $8.49 (plus tax & tips). You will end up paying almost $21 for a thin 10 inch sandwich and if you add tips (let's say 15%) it's going to cost you almost $24. And if you order a beverage with that, then add about $5 more, and your total bill will be around $30 for a simple lunch!! However, the food is delicious. read more

I opened up my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich.... Two flipping flies flew out. I'm about to lose it. I'm not mad just disappointed. Ok but seriously, pretty gross. First fly flew out. My only complaint here is that the silverware was dirty which makes me question the cleanliness of my food as well... and I would like to think that if I'm eating with a spoon or using a knife here that it was thoroughly cleaned after it was in another person's mouth. TLDR: Inaccurate Takeout Orders - Missing Items and No Compensation/Apology for Wasting Your Time and Fuel This is the only Panera Bread location that I've been to because it's only about 2 miles from where I live, but man, is this location terrible. I'm reluctant with tipping for takeout because of places like this. You don't even have to serve me the food or act polite when you ring me up but PLEASE at least be ACCURATE with my order. Come on, it's listed on the receipt! I already have to deal with the uncleanly appearance of trash littered about the parking lot and sketchy people loitering around this location (Sacramento at its finest) but I really also have to deal with employees not performing their job well. I already have to deal with myself being hangry (mostly hungry and pretty irritable because of it), which would make some sense why I'd come here, right? On top of that, I'm an [socially] angsty woman of all things, so I order takeout specifically to limit any possible negative/uncomfortable interactions yet it feels like this place is intentionally trying to push my buttons because this visit today isn't my first time with inaccurate takeout orders. The food is fine, depending on what you order. You can't really go wrong with ordering a pastry (okay, maybe it can taste really dry, but I haven't had a problem *yet*). I enjoy the [french onion] soup (and soups are only available after 10:00am) as well as the soufflés (which are made in the morning so since they don't make many of them, your best chance of purchasing one is within an hour of the location opening). There are some other things I've ordered here (sandwiches, mac&cheese, bagels, drinks, etc.) and they taste just as you'd expect for what you pay for. What I like about ordering through the app is that you get to customize certain items in your order so it's nice that I can substitute ingredients for sandwiches (i.e. different bread, add/remove sauces/veggies, etc.) and this location will at least get all my customizations correct so far (if they don't forget to include the food item with the rest of my order, that is). I'm particularly annoyed with today's visit since I decided to try out the teriyaki chicken and broccoli bowl for $13.69 and of course, that was the food item that I didn't receive. I placed a future order for takeout at 07:40 in the morning and everything else was ready by the time I arrived around 07:33 (because I only ordered pastries anyway). The employee handed me the bag over-the-counter and I thought it felt a bit light but didn't dig too deep into the bag, assuming that I'd be able to trust their customer service (even though they have let me down before on previous visits). By the time I drove the 2 miles home, eager to eliminate my hunger, I open up the bag to realize that the teriyaki chicken & broccoli bowl was missing. At this point, I'm quite infuriated because I had to drive the 2 miles back for a bowl that ended up looking pretty mediocre (and mind you, they did NOT apologize or even offer anything to make up for it - (some places will at least give a cheap drink or food item for wasting your time but not here!). And because I'm a bratty person, I lost my appetite having to deal with these frustrations but still have to live with myself and force myself to eat to survive since I already paid about $40 for my whole order. First-world problems, amiiright? I submitted a case to Panera Bread about this location's issues with order inaccuracy but with my experience of their work ethic so far, I don't know if the company really cares since order inaccuracy seems to occur pretty often here. Regardless of my experience, the staff at this location should be double-checking all orders to ensure that all customers are being provided with the correct order that they paid for. By no means will order accuracy be perfect all the time, but with how often missing/incorrect items occur, this location is really lacking. read more
