I have gone here twice and both times they have been out of half of their items. How is that even possible. I am not exaggerating, HALF.

This subway is too expensive! I only buy the 6" tuna sandwich and it's $10.49. Other locations, it's 6.50 or closer to $7.00. That's crazy! Even the meatball sandwich is cheaper than tuna. Now I go elsewhere because of the $4.00 price gauge. read more

My mother is bedridden, puts herself on a lot of diet restrictions, and very demanding. So I was surprised when she had a sudden craving for a tuna sub from Subway! My dad and I often do a lot of traveling around town taking care of whatever requests she has on her list. But to my pleasant surprise, I discovered that this Subway was located a short drive down the street from my parent's house! As we arrived, my dad (who is under a great deal of stress caring for my mom), at first wanted to order a meatball sub himself, along with my mother's tuna. But as we got to the front of the line, he quickly changed his mind to just buy one footlong tuna sandwich to share with mom. The lady taking our order was very patient as my dad seemed grumpy about why I questioned his change of mind. Once I completed the order, and dad paid, I checked in on Yelp and got a free cookie! As I presented it to the nice woman, she was kind enough to give us not one, but two chocolate chip cookies for both of my parents! She seemed to understand the tension we were going through at that moment. I always enjoy the food at Subway, and will have no problem patronizing here again! read more

Haven't been to Subway in a while, and it was a great first time at this location! I was visiting my grandparents from the Bay Area, and I had just finished doing a little 'bargain huntin' at the nearby Big Lots - and I wanted to get sandwiches to bring to my grandparents for a quick meal! I didn't have any coupons with me, but the cashier hooked me up big time - in addition to getting 2 complimentary fresh-baked cookies by checking in on Yelp! I opted for 2 footlongs from the Subway Series menu (Subway Club & Supreme Meats) , and I was able to pile up high on meats (without getting any additional charge), as well as asking for more & extras on their veggies across the board (I didn't ask for avocado cuz you know I'm trying to save $$ LOL) - and opting for just salt/pepper & oil/vinegar on one sandwich, and the other with light mayo - since my grandparents weren't too keen on having too much dressing on their sandwich LOL! It was a fairly quiet restaurant, with one other person waiting in line & another one paying for their meal at the counter. Too bad that I don't remember the person who prepared my sandwich - but I didn't feel intimidated since I had asked for some extras or 'more' on my sandwiches - and the plus that I brought it up once I was about to pay that I didn't have any coupons on me - he hooked me up!! Guess, he thought I was a Sac State student that's always in need of college student discounts, so all was well! I was able to bring the sandwiches to my grandparents (it was about a 5-10 min drive from this location) & they were still FRESH & HOT - in addition to not being soggy! Definitely would return to this particular Subway whenever I'm in the area, and I'm definitely bringing coupons next time! The "Owner" helped us... she was rude... VERRRRY Slow and seemed inconvenienced by us being there in the morning. I walked in and forgot to immediately put my mask on. She started making our sandwiches and stopped to stare at me asking me to put mine on, THIS while hers not being worn properly (nose not covered) to which she adjusted, with the same gloves she continued to use to make my food.. Personally I didnt care, about that but I know others may be worried about that. I then asked for flatbreads for our breakfast sandwiches.. She tried to open one... they looked like they had gotten wet, and she proceeded to tell me, "These are bad. pick something else" she didnt attempt to find another package or check the walk in to see if they had more.. just told us... Pick something else in a rude way. She then proceeded to double and triple check EVERYTHING we asked for because she clearly wasn't paying attention. It took her almost 15 mins to make 4 sandwiches and ultimately they were cold at the end.. the Eggs were rubbery, the steak ended up being cold after it sat out waiting on the microwaved eggs. This happened during summer. This subway is the most racist place I've ever been to. They treated me (a person of color) like a thief while I was just using coupons for buy one get one free footlong. Will never return again. I used the same coupon previous day without any issues, and I didn't notice that the coupon was expired, but the day after the Manager Erick was calling cops just because the coupon was expired (last month). However he offered the next customer (white) the same coupon without him asking for it. At the end I found the same coupon online (exactly the same code) and he refused to apply it to my purchase, then I just bought it directly on the Subway's website. He wasn't happy that I applied the coupon online to the purchase and he was yelling at me and tried to preach me that I was stealing from them by using the expired coupon which isn't expired on their website. I ordered chicken rotisserie subway through app. I picked it up at the restaurant and when I opened the bag, it had bacon strips with barely any chicken with so much salt. So I've been to this subway for about 3 times. That's not usually my way. I like to go to different places to review as a hobby. Anna is the first thing I want to talk about. She was amazing! She must be around 17-19. She was sooooo nice to us. I asked for my footling to be wrapped into two 6 inch. She was like ok. Most might give a little sigh or look. Ok now the sandwiches. Usually get the cold cut foot long. The bread was cooked well. After letting Anna know that I would like pepper jack and to be grilled. It was time for the produce. I like everything I said. Anna started putting the sandwich together. Such a good job keeping all the produce on the bread while folding and cutting into two. That's when I asked if I could have the 6 inch wrapped separate. Unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning on Friday afternoon, August 21 at approx 12:15 pm. I had nothing to at all morning when I purchased a foot long tuna sandwich w/ spinach, pickles, black olives and ranch dressing along with a bottled ice tea and a cup of ice. Only took a few bites before work and then put the sandwich in the fridge. Once I got home I had a few more bites and put remains in fridge. At 3 a.m. I awoke with the worse heartburn ever. I had to sit up to try and get back to sleep. Then I began gagging and projectile vomiting for over an hour. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper. Subway is not my first choice for a sandwich but it's in my neighborhood and my mom raves about their tuna sandwich. Subway la riviera drive in Sacramento, CA. First thing I noticed was she jumped from the cash register to this? When I'm ready to order sauce/produce she made it extremely hard for him to be productive. At the same time she was swinging dirty dishes over my sandwich on purpose. I offered to wait until she finished and she said she wasn't in the way and started handing him everything I asked for mustard etc. I was confused as to why she just couldn't be respectful and handle that at a better time. She refused to provide a name /manager for further complaint. The cross contamination and lack of customer service through me off unfortunately, I was forced to eat somewhere else. This is not okay, unsanitary. Please look into this location my family and I live across the street and have eaten here for over eight years I've never seen either one of these workers. I keep forgetting to update my review now that I have been to this Subway location many many more times. We always order Sandwich Catering Platters for work ($38-40 each) and they always have them prepared correctly and on time for when I come to pick them up an hour or two later. I can call in our order ahead of time and they even have a delivery option if we order enough and they have a driver available. Everyone in the store is very nice and helpful, and it is always clean inside both in front and behind the counter. I still think they could put more toppings on the sandwiches (especially the vegetarian ones) but when I have asked for more of a particular topping they have never given me grief. I also like how they offer to toast your sandwich or make it as a salad which is a nice variation from the standard fair. I will keep coming back to this Subway location because of their great customer service and the cleanliness of the store. Everyone is always happy with the sandwiches when I pick them up for lunch and we rarely have any leftovers. read more

I go here sometimes for my break and every single time it's been exceptional. But today, employee named Julia, made a subpar sandwich. She put the meat on the sandwich and also in the toaster but you know what, when I got in my car to eat I can clearly tell the sandwich is still cold. They instruct their employees to skimp on produce, trying to get a few pennies more profit margin. Not here. This spot has very professional employees and is dealing with the pandemic very greatly. I went in there one time to notice that a Grown woman was arguing with one of the workers. The worker handled it very professionally and did not interact with the rude customer. The customer proceeded to threaten the worker so the worker did call the authorities which in my opinion is great service. The customer did give a false review on here which I did notice. This Subway is among one of the best that I have visited. Usually when I walk into a Subway, they don't even greet me but I was made to feel welcome by this location's employees. Despite there being several customers in front of me, I was promptly helped by Jonaid A. I was in and out of the store in a matter of minutes with my lunch that was made quite beautifully as well without any of the aged lettuce seen at other Subways.
