This shop is what you'd expect to see at any comic book store with a heavy dedication to Funko Pops (about half the store consisting of Funko). Occasionally they will have a hidden gem you're missing for your collection, a signed exclusive or something rare. Prior to covid they occasionally held card game tournaments and having attended a few (Pokemon) it's always been fun. The other half of the store is dominant with comics from trades to single issues. They offer most publishers and sell a variety of items from d&d miniatures, card sleeves, posters, and the like. Most of the employees I've encountered are normally very cool, polite and informed. The older comics are sorted alphabetically by character(s) which makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I'd recommend this location for any Pop/TCG/Comic collector or fan

Nothing like a trip to Conroe to remind you that Houston is a huge city! Ventured north on a Saturday morning for the sole purpose of checking this store out. I had heard they had a selection of Funko Pops that was not to be believed and I heard correctly! Worth every minute of the 2 hour and 20 minute round trip drive. They offer literally 1000's of Pops. Two large rooms, floor to ceiling full. There were two different price structures for them. The glass case and upper shelves were the more rare pieces. Those prices have to be looked up by an employee. The lower shelves are considered "commons" and those are $10.99 each. I bought a few items and they were all reasonably priced. The store is pretty huge and offered much more than the Funko items. Comic books, books, collectible cards, all manner of figures. Also had tables set up so customers could play games. Met some nice people there, worth the trip.

Comics and comics Probably the best place for Funko Pops!

Like many of the modern comic book stores, Bedrock City Comic want to make everyone who walks through their door as welcoming as possible. They have specific sections for kids and shelves that's just local Houstonian artists created works or books for new comers to start from. This store is definitely well organized and there's plenty of things to browse for. Sometimes there will be special artists event such as Gene Luen Yang stopping by for a meet and greet and signing. They certainly stock up as much of the creator's works as possible for people to buy and get it signed the same evening. This store also have a good selection for the hardcore collectors when it comes to buying Golden Age comics, statues, and special limited edition collectibles that you don't really need it but you want it just because. When I am around on this side of the town, I will always try to make time and stop by here just to take a look, who knows what I will find that trip.

One figurine that I want they are charging 140.00 for it , where online and other shops it's literally 40 dollars , a stuffed chuckie doll that's not even like a real good guy doll just a weird looking knock off Chucky doll is 80 dollars ? The Funko pops had a good selection but all priced at 17 dollars some of them are worth that but not every one of them. It's a cute store just not something I'll come back too . But thank you for having me .

I recently stopped by here with my boys after having some services done at the salons next door and am SO glad we decided to pop in! From the moment you open the door - the smell of comics (and even my own childhood!) consume you. There is SO much to see and look for - it's easy to spend the whole day inside and potentially go broke. My kids gravitated right to the youth section, which was aptly positioned right near the entrance (I say aptly, because once you venture in a bit more, you do have to pass by the more "adult" side of the comic world), and immediately found a few new additions to their at-home library! As if that wasn't enough to reel one in, they even sat down to indulge in a few chess moves. ;) Of course, finding all the nostalgia and collectibles further toward the back of the store was icing on the cake. There were several aisles of toys and figures - pop culture and more! - should that tickle your comic book-loving fancy. Just don't say I didn't warn you! I love that the staff welcomed the kids and engaged with them. The two young(er) folks working that day were super knowledgeable and well-versed in the comic book world and I am here for it. They took time to share all about the store, the programs and clubs of times past - here's to hoping they come back!! - and offered a much needed welcome to the comic book kids of today in this area. If I'm being honest, it made for a great first-time visitor experience. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by and for the life of me, am still scratching my head to understand why we've not stopped in sooner! There's so few stores of this magnitude on this side of town - and it's worth it. Definitely a go-to on my list of my kids' favorite spots...
