I called and asked about dollar bins--they said they had a small one. When I arrived, the guy behind the counter (possibly the owner) was friendly and pointed me right to it. My son browsed their huge collection of Funko Pops while I dug through the small dollar bin--only about 20 comics--but they also had tons of back issues, exclusive variants, and current titles. The store was clean, well-organized, and clearly active with customers and collectors. The staff were making fair deals on comics and cards. A great little spot--I'd visit again and highly recommend!

They were very informative and I learned a lot. I meet so many people into anime, I've been educating myself on a lot of this. It is becoming very interesting. Back in the day people used to talk about how Pokémon cards would have value and they literally have $300-$400 Pokémon cards and glass cases. I feel like I missed out lol. They were very organized with their comics with them all in alphabetical order and easy to find. You don't have to have a lot of money to participate in this interest. Although there are some very expensive comic books they also sell some for $1. They also offer cool experiences outside of comic books. They are hosting a dungeons and dragon tournament, Yu-Gi-Oh card tournament and more. I thought it was cool that it is a safe haven for kids to come and read comics or watch anime if they choose to get away.

They also have some display cases with cool statues and even some video games. Their comic selection is small but they do still have some cool trades and individual issues. I've bought a few figures and statues from them in the past and the prices were always totally reasonable. Today I was not going to buy anything as I had some things that I wanted to sell. The owner was really easy to work with and offered a fair value for my stuff. Process was quick and easy. This place is awesome and I definitely recommend it.

My only complaint is that it seems that items there are sold for the price that is on the back of the book, which means you can probably find the same items cheaper on Amazon for instance. I participated in the Houston Book Crawl and wanted to check out this bookstore. I had no idea…read moreabout this place but I'm so glad they're a part of this community event. I was their first participant and Ms. Nikki made me feel so welcomed. I love how the bookshelves are arranged with the new books in front and as you walk through the building they're sectioned off with various fiction, sci-fi, nonfiction, children's, religion, and suspense books. Plus they have a sign that tells you the prices for used hardback and paperback books. The new books are pricier but I know they're worth it at least for me. This was a real treat to check out.

We came in around 7PM on a weekday evening and it was still quite packed. Barely got a table for our group of 5, and we didn't start playing til around 7:45PM. Their board game library is fantastic. We played Kinfire Council, a bit of a rarer game, and it was a great vibe. Drinks can be purchased from the Tabletop Tavern connected and they'll bring it right to your table (except for the Pokemon tables which are designated for family friendliness). Fantastic shop. He then asked for a $50 box of Pokémon cards and the same guy said he was going to punch a hole into the box with a hole puncher. My husband said he didn't want that because he wants it sealed and untouched. The guy proceeds to give him an attitude and tells my husband he can have the Pokémon box for double the price or else he will hole punch it. Honestly, this isn't the first time this place has been a disappointment. I promise you, you will meet the rudest and most pompous Reddit mod toxic a** people in places like this. The environment is unwelcoming. You can tell these people hate you. If you don't look like a liberal, have the purple hair and piercings-- these people treat you different. It's obvious and gross. If they keep this behavior up, they'll go out of business one day. Also, the owner seems to post very ugly and offensive responses to any reviews he doesn't like. That should tell you something.
