The business owner/ manager can at times let his emotions get the better of him, also the behind counter is an absolute cluster of cards and unorganized crap littering the floor. There are plenty of card stores that I have seen that actually look like they care about their appearances but this is not one of those stores. read more

All the glorious selection you can too get at Hero's collectibles, almost all of my best booster boxes have came from here. Tyler is so amazing he gave me a gift for my birthday when I stopped buying to get all the goodies for my birthday. By the way the paradox rift box had the exact chase card I was looking for. Stopped in today for the lorcana release. Their prices were reasonable (slight mark up) and the guy up front was nice. Could tell he was really getting worked but kept it together and got people through quickly. Just looking at the back wall, seems like they have a good supply of other tcg games. Sad they aren't closer to where I live or I would come out for some events. read more

In my opinion, this is the best card shop in Houston. They have both retail and market prices for sealed Pokémon product and TCG singles and they actually limit how much you can buy, so everyone can get some. I have seen some places around Houston that sell single boosters for $10 a pack. Also places around this area like the Target and GameStop on Eldridge almost never have product so this has become the go to spot. Highly recommended! read more

Each time the guy working (I am so sorry that I still forgot to ask your name, but I really appreciate you!) has been amazing with not only my husband and I, but our 7 year old who has a billion questions about Pokémon. Today we walked in with a list we needed (not a small list by any means) and he went in grabbed every card he could find. Heroes is about a 30-45 minute drive depending on traffic for us and we will HAPPILY drive this for great customer service. Heroes Collectibles is a local card shop located in a strip center on Dairy Ashford. They carry a wide range of trading cards and collectible card games, including: Yugioh, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and Sports Cards. They also carry binders, sleeves, and other supplies. Their prices are excellent, especially when it comes to their singles. Their selection isn't the best I've seen, but it's still pretty good. Most of their cards are new and in-demand, great for tournament and casual players! They also stock some older and rarer cards, which are ideal for collectors. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and the employees are helpful. If you have a question, ask it! They can probably answer it. I've never had a problem here. Overall, Heroes' collectibles is a great card shop with the tournament player in mind. Sure they don't have a first edition Charizard or the original God cards, but that doesn't mean collectors will leave empty-handed. I usually come here for the top loaders, but I often leave with some extra cards for my collection. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in the area! read more

The gentlemen that approached us apparently was the owner and I dint realize the reviews that were on there was because of him. Prices aren't that great either as their mark-up is way higher than nearly every card store I have been to in Houston whether you're looking for cards or card supplies. The kid who works there has a cold, robotic tone and is basically just programmed to be demeaning and sound arrogant. Overall atmosphere is unwelcoming. There is no reason to go here when Galaxy is quite literally a two minute drive down the street. The brothers there are far from socially inept. I've been going to heroes since I was 13 years old, I am now 24, I've been coming to heroes for 11 years and I can say it is all around the best card shop in houston. They're clean, respectful and very engaging in conversation. Ignore the awful reviews given by people who either can't follow rules or work for other shops. The main thing I come in the shop for is foe YU-GI-OH cards the owner is really cool you'll meet some interesting people and for the sure the community is friendly you get all types of card collectors that come in and check out the store if you make a purchase that's more then $5 you get a raffle ticket you could win a free back at the end of the month overall this is the shop I always find myself coming back to, to get some awesome cards read more

I am very disappointed in this place I mean what kind of game card shop post a buy list for Pokémon cards and yet refuses to even buy the damn cards. The first time I went only offering store credit and i drove an hour a half away then I decide to give them one more chance and I practically had to bag the guy to purchase 3 cards when all 40 of them are posted on the buy list RECENTLY UPDATED NEW BUY-LIST. Super friendly service! I was looking for pokemon singles and they have a bunch of stuff! Reasonably priced, and when I asked if they would trade they agreed without haggling, which is the best! They carry trial decks and booster packs for Weiss shwarz (my favorite), card fight vanguard, yugioh, MTG, and of course pokemon! read more
