Bought this bad boi today at Rick's! So pleased with it!

I've driven by this place a good number of times, finally stopped to inquire about Disc Golf (noobie here). I was pretty happy to find that they had entire wall and then some of Discs, the staff was able to clarify some of the intricacies of the sport and how I should be approaching each throw. Although, you could get lost in a sea of information online, these guys made things clearer, and nothing beats like putting your hands on the plastic you're looking to buy.

first time coming here definitely the best store in houston for discs they had every disc up to date from the new plastics to the zone gt battle packs and every manufacturer these guys were friendly and had great service it was worth the drive

What a delightful store! It's a little off the beaten path for most Houstonians, but this place is an absolute joy to visit and is more than worth the drive. For Covid, they limit the people inside and provide hand sanitizer all around the store, and I felt safe the entire time I spent inside. The disc golf and darts selections are phenomenal, and Rick and his staff are very knowledgable about everything they sell. Rick even gave us an impromptu darts lesson before we bought a set. Most of the darts they sell are laid out and available to try out before you buy. The disc golf selection is truly phenomenal, especially now since supply has been spotty at best during the pandemic. He offers a buy four, get one free deal, and all the discs are very fairly priced. All the prices in the store are at market value or even a little cheaper than I could find online. It's really easy to spend a lot of money at this place, but for good reason. Rick has been doing this for a long time, and the quality shows.

I've been going to Rick's Darts and Games to feed my dart collecting addiction since 2011. Over the years, Rick and Loretta have been very patient and kind answering all my questions regarding darts and have provided a wealth of knowledge on how to improve my game. I'm no where close to throwing like Phil Taylor, but have seen a great deal of improvement, all thanks to Rick's tutorials. In an age where friendly, personalized customer service is no longer the norm, Rick's Darts and Games stands out as Houston's #1 spot for anything dart related as well as kites, disc golf or board games such as chess and backgammon.

Made possible because of Rick's 20 minute crash course

Thank you Rick for my dart crash course! I never knew how to play darts properly until now. Ive been doing it all wrong these years. Thanks for your help!

I see some mentions here and there about board games. Is there a large variety of tabletop games?

I first stumbled upon when I saw a Facebook post about one piece heroine cards. I've been there 3 times now and they specialize in mostly sealed stock and tournaments for the different tcgs. They sell a variety of tcgs: weiss schwarz, pokemon ,one piece, Gundam, riftbound. Prices are very reasonable and fair. My third time I was able to enter my first one piece prerelease tournament. The players were so kind and patient with me and the owner and staff were super friendly making sure I could have someone teach me the basics and lending me don!! cards. Overall, a great experience both playing and buying. Will definitely continue to support this shop in the future and hope to learn how to get better at playing OP tcg. I hope they start adding pokemon to their tournaments and have some other events like trade night or model building.

I…read morerecently started collecting Pokémon cards and dragged my friends here with me after lunch in Chinatown. I had only visited one other TCG card store previously and this was a starkly different experience in the best way possible. I was immediately greeted warmly by Taylor and given an overview of what the store offered - Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, and some accessories (e.g. play mats, card sleeves, etc.). My friends and I purchased two Paldean Fates tins and the remaining three 151 booster packs. We sat at one of the open tables whilst some other people were participating in the weekly Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. We opened all of our packs and still wanted more, so my friend went back to the counter to purchase the 151 poster pack that we had originally passed on. Within the 30 minutes that we were there, someone had purchased it! Totally understandable given the hype around this set and how reasonable this store's prices are. To scratch the itch, Taylor pulled out a box of common Pokémon cards for us to flip though. These were organized by set and by holographic, reverse holographic, etc. I ended up purchasing about 10-15 of these cards for $4. Almost all of them were $0.25 each with the exception of two that were a bit less common, which Taylor checked the market prices of and then charged me about a $1 for each - again very fair and reasonable. My hubby is a recently card collector as well but for Yu-Gi-Oh, so I picked up some goodies for him too, which included a Quarter Century Bonanza booster box containing 24 packs for $95. I mentioned to Taylor that the hubby was missing one card to complete Exodia - I knew there were different versions of these cards from different sets but Taylor immediately pieced together which card I was looking for and pulled put a binder of singles to show me. I was definitely my hubby's favorite person because that was exactly the card that he was looking for and he also pulled some rares from the booster box.

I find it similar to Daiso but with slightly higher prices and much more variety. This store is located at West on West (WoW) on Westheimer which holds several Asian-centric businesses like KBBQ, Japanese sushi, cake and bakery shops, and more. The store is quite large and the aisles are decent sized when it comes to comfortably shopping. You'll see lots of shoppers that come and go in groups whether they're family or friends, but all are very shop curious, as Teso has such a variety of items. It takes time to explore all the things but it is fun to discover unique items you likely won't find elsewhere. The aisles are very well stocked with sweet and savory snacks like cookies, crackers, chips, nuts, dried seafood, chocolates, candies, ice cream etc. They also have a huge wall of specialty drinks in the far back, where you'll also find things like 3D puzzles and toys that are not typical. There's also a row of claw arcade machines in the back so have your hand at the claw if you'd like. There's also a wide variety of beauty items that are Japanese heavy including face masks, mascara, fake lashes, hair dye, and lip sticks. Stationary that is cute and useful is also in abundance. Overall, it's a fun store to shop and stock up on some useful household items and some hard-to-find goods that are great for yourself or a gift to others.

It's located off Westheimer in the same shopping center as 99 Ranch grocery store, Lady M, and Paris Baguette. I stopped in while visiting 99 Ranch and was curious to check it out. The standout here is the selection of beauty products. There are at least two full aisles dedicated to Japanese and Korean skincare, including serums, sunscreens, and face masks. The variety is impressive and convenient if you want everything in one place. That said, prices aren't the best--you can often find better deals online or at other stores--but the selection makes up for it. Toward the back of the store, you'll find snacks and drinks like chips, teas, and bottled beverages. Prices in this section are higher compared to places like H Mart or 99 Ranch, so I wouldn't come here specifically for snacks. Staff were friendly and welcoming when we entered, and parking is easy with a large shared lot. Overall, great spot for Japanese and Korean beauty products, especially if you value selection over price. Just be mindful of pricing and don't expect bargain deals.
