Made this with a light blue agate bead from Annie's. I get compliments on it all the time.

a great collection of beads. definitely the best selection of any store I've ever been to or even seen online. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Everything was well organized and the turnout was pretty good. There were two groups, one for juniors and one for (young) adults, for fairness. Another thing I liked was that everyone got 3 extra packs instead of awarding it based on wins, given we're playing with pre-con decks + 4 packs that are all random. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, shout-out to Bryan (the general manager?) and the official judge for the event. Plus I had a great conversation with him and Michael(?) about MTG; they're definitely very passionate about board & card games. They have anti-scalping policies in place for Pokemon. As for the space itself, decent amount of parking (more in the back). They're very popular for Warhammer, so there's a ton of product for those who play, and several tables set-up with many people playing all afternoon next to us (the 'playing hall' is pretty large!). They also have an aisle with board games for sale, and a counter with TCG products. Restrooms are spacious and clean. All in all, The Forge is pretty much all you can ask for in a LGS; they're also independently owned! I wish I live closer, but I'll definitely be here again soon!

What makes this the best game store, though, is the PEOPLE. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and happy to share what they clearly love. Go visit the new location & be prepared to LOVE IT!!

It was my first visit, and exploring Houston's Chinatown at night just adds to the vibe. Bright lights, great energy, and cool little places like this tucked into plazas. We came mainly for the claw machines, and they definitely delivered. These aren't your usual scammy machines where you walk away empty-handed and annoyed. The win rates here are actually decent. We saw a bunch of people pulling out prizes, and we managed to win a few cute plushies ourselves. There's a wide variety of machines too, with everything from small trinkets to giant stuffed animals. This place could be a fun date spot if you're both a little playful or competitive, but honestly it's perfect for kids. The atmosphere is light and casual, and there's plenty to keep them entertained. One thing I didn't totally get was the "tufting" part of the name. After looking online it looks like you can do rug making workshops but I'm not sure where they'd host this as the place was full of claw machines. That being said we didn't check that part out, but maybe next time. Overall, Craft Land is a cool little late-night adventure, especially if you're in the area and want to mix a bit of nostalgia and prize-hunting into your night.

I asked the Manager to please open another lane, and he said it might be a while before he could open another lane. In another words, he meant "no", but he was making up an excuse. They probably don't pay worth crap, and that's why they appear to be understaffed. In addition to crappy service, the Manager was just standing there flipping coins while customers were standing and waiting in line. He didn't seem to care. Maybe his "Daddy" is a part-owner of Hobby Lobby, and he has job security to be able to just stand there all day, and flip coins. Are you kidding me? The Manager makes more money than the cashier, but the Manager is just standing there flipping coins. This place is a joke. There is a Michael's 5 minutes away at Westheimer and Voss. If you're smart, you will do your shopping there. The Manager is definitely overpaid. He probably can't tie his own shoes. Bruce Wilson
