This is my LGS of choice for my pokemon TCG collection! They've always got a great stock of singles that rotate pretty much every week and are priced incredibly fairly. I wouldn't say this place consistently gets much stock in terms of fresh packs (Sleeves, ETBS, the like...), though, as there have been lots of instances where they have had their shipments delayed for recent releases like Prismatic Evolutions and Journey Together -- but I'm certain this issue isn't unique to this store. Went here with two female friends and the man behind the counter kept eyeing us like we were a piece of meat. The whole experience left me sick to my stomach. If you're a female TCG player, please go to The Forge Hobbies & Games instead. We went straight from Galaxy Gaming to The Forge, still shaken up, and the folks there made us feel at home. There are better and safer TCG shops around. read more

Called for the Pokemon pre release, on the phone they told me preregistration starts at 5:30, if you show up earlier then that and get in line will sign you up. None of that was true, got here at 5:00, no line anywhere, everyone piled up and no sense of organization as to who was here first or last, people kept coming in and disorganizing the whole thing. Eventually worker tells everyone we have to sit at the table, everyone sits and without making a formal announcement he just starts getting people signed up, walked up to the list with the worker and people that had gotten there well after me got the spot, no line anywhere in site, no organization, huge waste of time driving out and waiting over an hour to not get signed up. Some poor guy said he was waiting since 4:00 and he didn't even know sign ups had happened and found out from me that it was full as I was leaving, no announcement on the mic. Do not trust these people to keep to their word or have any type of organization. Also worker kept vaping in front of everyone's face, unfocused and unprofessional. Worker also favored his friends who were playing a completely different yu go oh event they had came for, telling his friends just drop from the yu gi ou event and come to pokem and straight up signed them up. Also tryd justify he'd look at the camera and then didn't even follow his own word when a friend came by and wanted to sign up. Don't come here for any events unless you enjoy wasting your time. read more

The store seems to favor people and scalpers they know. Came from out of town to do a pre-release for Pokémon and called ahead of time. Was informed that it is first come first serve and to make sure we arrive by 5:30 pm as that is when registration starts and to make sure we were in line for sign-ups. We arrive approximately at 5:10-20. Seems like there was a huge cluster of people crowded at the front and as we asked if this was the line for pre-registration we were told that it was not but everyone in the cluster was there for Poke. The manager then told everyone to sit down and that he had "been keeping an eye" on everyone who had come in and would call people up. As he clears up the counter he starts calling up YuGiOh players and people he knows by name up that we're not in the cluster and were playing a whole other event. The manager even told a YuGiOh player that it was best to drop their event and do Pokémon. Then another Yugioh player comes up and tells the manager that he has been there since 3 pm, mind you he was there for a whole other event. Then as there are two spots let's he starts checking the camera to see who walked in, idiotically doesn't enforce that you had to be in the cluster waiting but just in the store. Horrible structure to this event, and favoritism to the scalper friends this store seems to support. The worst part is there was one kid in this cluster mess and one last spot and this owner gave the spot to the Yugioh player who was playing and "kindly reminded" them that they had been there since 3 pm. read more

Superior in every which way to the dull and condescending clerk at Heroes Collectibles shop just down the road. The brothers and father are great owners. The shop is always clean and organized. They are accommodating, knowledgeable, and attentive. Their selection of YGO cards is impressive and store mark-up on card supplies and sealed product is quite tolerable. This store is worth the hour long drive. This is a shop I have no problem supporting. Great customer service along with a clean store makes a world of difference in a time where physical stores are trying hard to survive against online retailers. read more

Horrible customer service. I called this store to make sure they had a newly released product, and I was greeted with a very rude individual who didn't seem very interested in helping me. When I asked how much the product was, I was told "we don't discuss price on the phone... it's only for in store customers" I thought this was extremely unprofessional and when I asked why, he said "not for you." I have called this store many times before to purchase products and games and was always given a price over the phone before I went. I guess they switched to a more prejudiced way of operating their "business." They will not have my business ever in the future and I will use the much nicer Collectables store right around the corner. read more

Amazing atmosphere I support the shop and love being welcomed. It's a kind and warm-hearted home for players. I absolutely recommend their snacks especially their famous brownies and cookies. However, if you're new or wondering about how or what about anything in particular. Ask for Omar, he's a really knowledgeable person. I've been going to galaxy for years and never been disappointed. Pretty clean place. Owners are nice and respectful. Pricing is average to above average. There are 2 couches plus 2 TV with consoles as a bonus. Tables for trading card games and multiple pcs for the internet cafe section. read more
