They had a great card section. I would give them a good recommendation. My son like it even though it was pricey. Good section though.

Amazing store that's always in stock with many cards and sealed products at good prices! Cozy and comfy store to hang and play some games as well! read more

Nice little shop. Good selection. I felt like the pricing was fair on singles. Was kinda hard to view them on the lower shelves when the shop was busy, but I would go back to view the latest selection if in the area. read more

nice people, nice room, and nice card with reasonable price. I definitely will come again.

Great little card shop. Had plenty of selections from singles to sealed product. Bought a few mixed items and the employee gave me discounts for it alongside a booster bundle of obsidian flame that had the Terra charizard in it! Definitely coming back for sure. These guys are awesome. read more

One of the cleanest and most knowledgeable shops in Houston HANDS DOWN! I have been to every shop in Houston and nothing beats the staff at Gem Mint! There is room for everyone to sit and chill! This place is the best card shop in houston, the owners are really cool and they always got deals going on . Really great variety of every type of card there is. Walk in and check them out , I go there almost once a week read more

Great selection of retail and hobby products for all sports. Always well received by the staff.

Support this local gem!! Easily the best shop in in the Houston area. The interior of the shop is clean and contemporary which gives it a sleek look. There's no other shop like this and that's one of the reasons why I would highly recommend them over the other card shops I have shopped at before. They have a wide selection of raw cards, graded cards, and sealed product to choose from. Their service is top notch, professional, and friendly. They take good care of their customers and go above and beyond to make sure we are happy and satisfied. They are also exceptionally fair with their pricing. If you're looking to get into cards or to expand your collection, give Gem Mint Cardhouse a visit, you'll be glad you did! They also provide grading services. You can't go wrong dealing here! read more

So my son and I came into this card shop to check it out. They have lots of graded sports card for sale. All prices range from few dollars to $500 range. There was some valuable Pokémon cards there too. Place looks like it fairly new cause the walls didn't have any pictures or display up yet. I didn't see any card that was in packs for sale yet. They do have card protection cases for sale there. To protect those valuable cards. I didn't get to ask if they offer any grading service. But next time I come back I will. Not sure if they buy cards there. Didn't ask this time. Mainly cause I don't plan on selling anything yet lol. But the staff was friendly. read more

Wonderful place, worth the travel and friendly staff. The place is a Pokemon and sport card collector paradise. The layout of the store and combination of both retail and unique cards is impressive. This is a place for sure to find the retail purchases a card collector wants but also really crazy finds for stuff you can't normally find. We actually were helped by one of the owners, Tommy, and he took time to speak with us and look at what we had brought to trade. Not another place I have found that is so specialized and along with the cool staff, we will be sure to visit this store going forward and highly recommend checking them out. read more

I honestly went in to this shop with super high expectations after hearing great things about them only to be let down. Upon walking in to the shop there are many sport and Pokémon cards to view. After viewing a few there were many that I would consider not gem mint and the prices were priced higher than what the card condition warranted. The guy working didn't speak to us either and was on his phone the entire time as if he was uninterested we were there. When I go to a card shop I go for the experience and to build a relationship within the card collecting community, that's not what we received here. Maybe there was an underlying issue going on but I unfortunately won't be back as I plan to visit other shops within the community that have competitive pricing and overall better customer service! read more

Mural was awesome, great selection of cards, and friendly staff. Best card house in Houston!

Low ballers and cheap cheap stingy owners and employees, I brought in a $1500-2000 for a 10/10 grade Kobe Bryant vintage card with stupid cool graphics, and Kobe had a Afro, Adidas's, and wearing the #8 so if you know anything about basketball cards that was a young Kobe in the beginning of his long prime and after his death his memorabilia has gone thru the roof. It was obviously in a 8-9 out of 10 grading and they just go off the "last sold" prices which isn't accurate to give a offer...and they are a card store so they get there stuff graded for free but he acted like he would actually have to spend 150-200 dollars to get it graded and offered me $270 when they could easily have me 500-750 and STILL turned a easy $500-600 profit. These people are con artist and take advantage of kids that don't know the business or what they have. Very slimy grimy vibe in that store and everything Is way over priced and have no idea why when there location is in a shopping strip on highway 6 and W airport close to Alief lol they act like they are paying $4,500 for rent on a store front in Midtown, Montrose, River Oaks, Uptown Galleria, or the Heights area lol smh read more

Came from out of town to give them a visit. The nicest group of people who was ready to help my group of 8 friends make wonderful trades and purchases. They'll help you with anything you need, but if they don't have what you're looking for they're knowledgeable enough to point you in a great direction for the next step. Definitely recommend their store to all sorts of collectors!!! read more

Very nice and helpful staff, prices aren't too bad. Got a hanger box for $60, they have a variety of cards and packs, including football basketball baseball and Pokémon. If you live in the area I recommend shopping here instead of EBAY because you know exactly what you're getting. read more

Amazing service. I was having a hard time finding what I needed and they were super helpful & helped me find exactly what I needed. Got to check this place out today and was impressed. Houston needs more local card shops and we finally got one in Gem Mint Cardhouse, whose modern atmosphere and a large space with tables allowing for live rips fits well with today's hobby scene. They do buy/sell/trade along with grading submission services. Glad this is so close to my house! read more

This is currently one of the few good places in Houston to shop for Pokemon singles. The staff is helpful, the store is clean, and their prices on raw cards are fair unlike many stores which gouge way over market. read more
