Everything was well organized and the turnout was pretty good. There were two groups, one for juniors and one for (young) adults, for fairness. Another thing I liked was that everyone got 3 extra packs instead of awarding it based on wins, given we're playing with pre-con decks + 4 packs that are all random. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, shout-out to Bryan (the general manager?) and the official judge for the event. Plus I had a great conversation with him and Michael(?) about MTG; they're definitely very passionate about board & card games. They have anti-scalping policies in place for Pokemon. As for the space itself, decent amount of parking (more in the back). They're very popular for Warhammer, so there's a ton of product for those who play, and several tables set-up with many people playing all afternoon next to us (the 'playing hall' is pretty large!). They also have an aisle with board games for sale, and a counter with TCG products. Restrooms are spacious and clean. All in all, The Forge is pretty much all you can ask for in a LGS; they're also independently owned! I wish I live closer, but I'll definitely be here again soon!

I wouldn't say this place consistently gets much stock in terms of fresh packs (Sleeves, ETBS, the like...), though, as there have been lots of instances where they have had their shipments delayed for recent releases like Prismatic Evolutions and Journey Together -- but I'm certain this issue isn't unique to this store. Huge shoutout to Omar who has always been sweet to me and my friends. It's been a few months since i've had the chance to drop by, but expect to see me again very soon!

If an item is not in stock, it can be ordered (or preordered) and will arrive after a few days. Brian was very knowledgeable. He explained the new contrast paints in greater detail and went as far as providing an example with several pieces he was working on. If you need tutorials, he can provide you with them. Not only on painting, but the games and lore as well. He can also find you players for games and also tournaments. Several customers came in to not only game, but to also paint and work on their models. This is a very welcoming place for those that are into tabletop games or those just into hobbie and middle kit building. Everything needed to construct and paint is here, whether it's Eldar, Necrons, Adeptus Mechanicus, terrain, LOTR, or the Age of Sigmar stuff. This place is good for children and adults. And if you aren't sure about the hobby, the have books as well. You should check it out.

I do like checking out the video game and anime selection but this store is just so packed every…read moretime I come in (I tend to come in on sundays so maybe I need to visit on a weekday) I normally find something to add to my collection but I honestly wish they would do something about people hogging the aisles. I believe this store needs a larger space like their other locations around the country. Many people just tightly packed in pretty much one part of the store while the rest of the store is pretty much a ghost town. Hopefully they decide to relocate to a better fitting space

Books, books, books…read more Passed this up a few times because I thought it was an anime place and that's isn't my thing. It a friend told me to go in. New, clean, organized. There is anime and comics as well as action figures but also a slew of books and vinyls. It reminds me of Half Price. The books are organized by subject and/or author. And there was a huge clearance section (somewhat organized) of books for $1. The staff were just strolling around doing their jobs without (for me) a lot of service. They were steady. Not o early busy but a steady in and out of customers. This is def a place where to fully enjoy, I'd need to spend a few hours. I love books. They also sell actions figures, games, cards, etc. Def worth a look if you are into books.
