I've had plenty of Pon de Ring Mister Donuts (almost like baby teething ring) in Japan each time I visited. They're 8 dough balls connected and made with tapioca flour. They are not mochi donuts because they're made with glutinous rice flour where they're dense. Decided to try it in Sweets in the Sky as they offer them. It's a long drive (45 mins) but decided to pick up other food around the area too. There's a gaming cafe at the entrance and the bakery is towards the end. There's a swing set for insta pics and some flowers decor on the side. Arrived around noon and bought matcha, lychee, s'mores and earl grey ($2.5 each). I love anything earl grey and was excited! The cashier said the lychee was hot since it just got cooked. They can be stored in room temperature for 2 days. The earl grey was fresh, soft but can't taste anything earl grey. We also picked up foods in Sugar Land and Missouri City while we're out there. We tried the 2nd one lychee after dinner around 9 pm and it was hard. It's very pretty in pink but can't taste anything lychee. We kept the 2 donuts in the kitchen counter top like those we bought from The Sweet Bakery Boutique and Krispy Kreme from previous trips. I think they aren't as sweet as those in TSB which was a plus. It was hard to tear off a piece from the matcha one. It was super hard and hard to chew. It's not even 24 hours since we bought that and apparently they aren't good anymore. It's disappointing that we threw them away. Read reviews on other pages and the owner commented shelf life is 2-3 days which I disagree based on this incident. My advise is only to buy what you plan to eat fresh and shelf life is merely just a few hours. Otherwise, you might end up tossing them away too.

    Lots of sweets

Big fan of sweets so I was excited to try this place out. Loved the unicorn and galaxy cupcakes as the cake itself was perfectly moist and buttercream not overwhelmingly sweet. The strawberry mousse cake amongst several other mousse cakes was light yet creamy, though kind of pricey for the portion served. The milkshakes are served in glass jars and come topped with a cupcake too..if you want to sugar load! Not as monster sized as I'd like for a monster milkshake. You can also grab just ice cream if that's what floats your boat as they get it from a premium outside source. They are able to customize any order and also holds various classes for the curious baker and cake decorator. The party room is hidden toward the back of the bakery and could be a nice little private party space. Overall a nice addition to the Sugar Land/ Mo City area. Support local! I've also seen check in offers and Groupon offers for those looking to try it.

They make cupcakes and mini-cupcakes, as well as brownies and shakes and large cakes for events such as birthdays. The display even had wedding-style cakes. There is also ice cream available. I asked for recommendations on the most popular items & ended up buying an Oreo cupcake and a raspberry cupcake. Both cupcakes were attractive looking, but the cake itself was a bit on the dry side. Frosting was flavorful for both, and the frosting combined with the cake made the raspberry one pretty tasty -- but I would not have wanted to eat either cake without the frosting. Other things that could be better: upon walking in, I was hit with the aroma of what smelled like restroom cleaning solution. Not very appetizing. They need to switch to an unscented product. No one wants to smell cleaning solution when walking into a bakery -- or anywhere else for that matter.

I decided to try this place for my daughters birthday and they made the cutest globe cake pops!! They even made a vegan pop and separated in a special box for a friend who's child has food allergies! The party room is decorated so cute and looks like a great idea for birthday parties! I like supporting local and will be back in the future!

A very unique location that my kids enjoyed. Amazing desserts combined with cards and gaming. Cupcakes were amazing and some and one-of-kind ice cream flavors. Great place to go with your kids, especially if your kid likes ice cream and Pokémon cards. They also host Pokémon, Magic and other card game tournaments here. Great vibes here from the staff, we will return.

Make your magical girl dreams come true and get a milkshake to go in a galaxy egg! New things every time I come around and I'm not even mad about it.

We had our wedding cake made here and it was delicious! We also got a free grooms cake because we went to a cake tasting at the store. The staff here is very polite and easy to work with. I really liked how easy it was to show them a photo of the cake i wanted and then receiving exactly what i asked for. I definitely recommend them for your wedding cake!

Really cute and adorable place. I am in love with their unicorn cupcake and strawberry mousse. Went there the first time with my bf and second time with my gf! The only down side would be the disposable foam plates, wish they place the desserts on a nice plate, it would make the dessert stand out more.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place and really enjoyed the cupcakes. I decided to give them a try via doordash. I ordered the creme brulee, elegant vanilla, strawberry and chocolate cupcakes. The strawberry was easily the best strawberry cupcake I have tasted. I really wanted to like the creme brulee and elegant vanilla because I always hope they taste like wedding cake. This time around, they were a bit bland. I think they might have been old or just not moist enough. The chocolate one was really tasty as well. I highly recommend the chocolate and strawberry cupcakes!

I ordered a cake that I needed done VERY last minute (only 2 days notice) and they were SO sweet and accommodating even though I gave them almost no time to get something together! I am amazed with how great it came out! It's gorgeous and my sister loved it for her graduation party! And it tasted delicious! (I got the red velvet)

Just had my baby shower yesterday and to say everyone loved the desserts would be an understatement. We ordered a cake, cake pops, and cookies. The cake pops were huge success! Everyone loved them. They were perfectly moist and flavored we got half chocolate and half mocha flavored. They were great. The cake we had was decorated absolutely beautiful. I didn't give much direction to what I wanted I just pointed at a picture of what I liked and the decorator did the rest. Perfect is all I could say to describe it. We chose vanilla and a raspberry flavor that I was hesitant about because I do not like raspberry flavored things, but this cake so good good. There was barley any left over and I'm eating it now for breakfast as I type this review. Lastly the cookies were so pretty! They were decorated exactly how I asked, and were delicious. The icing was a very sweet though. Super sugar, but I'm sure thats the consistency and recipe they needed to make the cookies look like what they needed to. I showed them a picture and basically got what I asked for which for me is a huge relief. Now we had placed this order about 2 months in advance. Couple days before my event they called and there was a little confusion about the date I was picking up. The bakery was going to be closed the day of my event so I automatically freaked out. Although the bakery was closed they had someone come up there at 10AM to make sure that I would be able to pick up my items on time. This to me was beyond great customer service. Thank you so much Sweets In The Sky Bakery!

Amazingly delicious cupcakes & more. I will definitely be back. And the place is absolutely adorable. Highly recommend the peach cobbler & the banana pudding Cupcakes. We were planning to try them & then take them home. They didn't make it out of the building. The peach cobbler on top of the cupcake was surprisingly warm, the cake was both light & moist making it impossible for my husband not to finish.

Sooo yummy! My husband and I got two milkshakes (1 each) with the cupcakes on top. They were so cute and really good. The cupcakes were very delicious. Although we couldn't finish all in one sitting, definitely worth it. We will be back to try the macarons, cakes, and cream puffs! The owner is very sweet and her shop is very pretty. They also do cake decorating classes which I hope to do soon! It is also so nice that we have something unique like this in the Sugar Land area, which happens to be right around the corner from our home.

Cute concept, horrible desserts. Cupcakes are as thick as concrete and taste just like it too. You would be better off going to Kroger

This place is a hidden gem located on the 2nd floor (must go through medical practice door and…read moreupstairs to entrance). I first stumbled upon when I saw a Facebook post about one piece heroine cards. I've been there 3 times now and they specialize in mostly sealed stock and tournaments for the different tcgs. They sell a variety of tcgs: weiss schwarz, pokemon ,one piece, Gundam, riftbound. Prices are very reasonable and fair. My third time I was able to enter my first one piece prerelease tournament. The players were so kind and patient with me and the owner and staff were super friendly making sure I could have someone teach me the basics and lending me don!! cards. Overall, a great experience both playing and buying. Will definitely continue to support this shop in the future and hope to learn how to get better at playing OP tcg. I hope they start adding pokemon to their tournaments and have some other events like trade night or model building.

I haven't ever felt so compelled to move this fast to create a business page and review it. I…read morerecently started collecting Pokémon cards and dragged my friends here with me after lunch in Chinatown. I had only visited one other TCG card store previously and this was a starkly different experience in the best way possible. I was immediately greeted warmly by Taylor and given an overview of what the store offered - Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Disney Lorcana, One Piece, and some accessories (e.g. play mats, card sleeves, etc.). My friends and I purchased two Paldean Fates tins and the remaining three 151 booster packs. We sat at one of the open tables whilst some other people were participating in the weekly Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. We opened all of our packs and still wanted more, so my friend went back to the counter to purchase the 151 poster pack that we had originally passed on. Within the 30 minutes that we were there, someone had purchased it! Totally understandable given the hype around this set and how reasonable this store's prices are. To scratch the itch, Taylor pulled out a box of common Pokémon cards for us to flip though. These were organized by set and by holographic, reverse holographic, etc. I ended up purchasing about 10-15 of these cards for $4. Almost all of them were $0.25 each with the exception of two that were a bit less common, which Taylor checked the market prices of and then charged me about a $1 for each - again very fair and reasonable. My hubby is a recently card collector as well but for Yu-Gi-Oh, so I picked up some goodies for him too, which included a Quarter Century Bonanza booster box containing 24 packs for $95. I mentioned to Taylor that the hubby was missing one card to complete Exodia - I knew there were different versions of these cards from different sets but Taylor immediately pieced together which card I was looking for and pulled put a binder of singles to show me. I was definitely my hubby's favorite person because that was exactly the card that he was looking for and he also pulled some rares from the booster box.
