The boutique got a little bit of everything for everyone. The location of the store was strange and I drove right pass it without noticing it until my GPS told me that I passed it. But then again I am new to the area. The old building gives the boutique a reminiscent of old times, very nostalgic. The boutique reminds me of the movie Somewhere in Times. Strangely familiar and I can't quite understand what drawn me to it but I will definitely come back for another visit. Perhaps next time I will come alone so I don't feel rush. Overall it was a great experience.

They do advertise and charge people an entrance fee when they have their craft fairs. The gift shop itself is actually a converted house. The employees are very nice and helpful. The Red Potato has a lot of every day gifts as well as seasonal stuff. They have items you probably won't find in the mall. The best deal we found was a Lenox cake/knife set we used for our daughter's wedding. It was a really good price. It's a drive out for most, but it's not a bad drive.

The store is jammed with such a large variety of items that I can't find the appropriate category which to label them. The store has something of interest for everyone. It appears to feature small businesses in kiosk size stations of clothes, sauces, jellies, seasonal items, home decorations and the list goes on forever. The store draws you in to explore looking for what you'll find around the corner or next isle. This isn't my typical style of shopping so I can't determine whether the items represent a good value, however, I didn't go into sticker shock at any point.

I…read morefeel like if you have a problem with something you bought you should review that vendor and not the building. As for the vendors that are there, I feel like painted tree should do a better job veting who can get a booth. Some of the items looked like they were just from Harwin. If you go down the main middle aisle it's usually the best vendors. Once you go further away from the center the weirder things get. Because it has a bunch of random vendors you can sometimes find a dress at more than one vendor and just check prices and grab the cheapest one. Happened to me today. Vendor right across the aisle had the same dress for $10 cheaper. The dressing rooms are clean and sometimes they have a live band in the back of the store. You can find so many items here and the prices depending on the vendor can be really great! I guess it's kind of like a flea market but for boutiques or vendors. If you come just wear comfy shoes cause you will be walking a lot!!

Check out Ellicor gifts. Grab a basket and fill it up with sweet or savory treats. The chicken flavored spicy Doritos are so yummy and surprisingly addictive. (I did stock up on these from Don Quijote in Japan.) Not sure what to get? Try a blind box or a grab bag. That's what I did. Nice to have a bunch of random treats that were perfect for the Lunar New Year/Mardi Gras/Valentine's Day bags that I made for my staff. Gotta love the diversity that makes H-town so unique.
