Nothing but positive vibes , great customer service and amazing prices! Upon arrival I received a warm welcome from employees around the store. I noticed that the store offered a variety of fans. Each one seemed to tell a different story. I made my way to the jewelry/ bracelet section, there was literally an overflow of product. I love it here! I waltzed to the clothing section. I was able to catch the store during a sale so the dress I purchased was half off. I purchased some New Year's Cards and chopsticks. My total came out to $23. I literally spent an hour in the store and wish I could go back tomorrow. Definitely a piece of Asian culture in the heart of Harwin.

It's time to say GOODBYE Mr Michael and his staff on April 27, 2023.

We LOVE this shop! They are so nice and very friendly. Customer service is the best. We are Californians and shopping this shop about 3 times during three days in Houston, Texas . Thanks the city for having this wonderful Buddhist gifts shop.

My brother had these beautiful glass beads and wooden bracelets, that I fell in love with when I saw them I knew I had to have one! This little place is literally a hidden gem!! They have many beautiful traditional oriental gifts for anyone, from scarves, bracelets. Keychains, Statues and more!! When you enter its very small, however this little gem carries many things where you can be stuck in this store for 30min to an hour looking at everything. I was lucky the day I went they had a sale on some of there bracelets, that I ended up with 12 different kinds! The employees that work there are super friendly, and very knowledgeable of the items they carry and sell. I had bought this beautiful bracelet and they explained in detail what every color means, and what it signifies, which I truly loved. Most definitely a great little place to stop and explore!

And this is what I walked out with.

This place was Inspired by a previous review by Ashley r whom persuaded me to check this place out and I gotta say along her lines that this place IS A GEM! I recently had been looking for Chinese charms & i encountered this review so I had too go see for myself. This place had a lot to offer from an assortment of bracelets to these Lucy charms with different purposes/meanings to small souvenirs and gifts. There currently closing there first location and moving down the road to there new /2nd location which was way better in my opinion. 1st location has a big sale going on righ now with 50% off ok everything and new location has 30% off on everything for the new opening. You must check it out! Staff are beyond helpful and are very welcoming. Definitely will be going back soon! Here's what i captured and walked out with.

We were in China a couple years ago and my dad was kicking himself for not buying a gorgeous dragon he had been eyeballing.

In…read more1917 MFAH was dedicated by the Houston Public School Art League (later the Houston Art League) to become a public art museum. By gallery space, it is the 9th largest museum in the world, and the second-largest art museum in the Americas which I think is incredible. With over 80,000 pieces of art, the largest part of the museum's collection lie in areas of Italian Renaissance painting, Baroque painting, French Impressionism, photography, American and European decorative arts, African and pre-Columbian gold, American art, and post-1945 European and American painting and sculpture. They even have a section with African-American art and Texas painting. We came with a group of 5 on a Saturday as they opened and it was absolutely worth a visit. The Picasso special exhibits are here now and worth a look. Note: on Thursdays the museum is gratis and also for military families year round. Paid Parking in garage or a close walk from surrounding Hermann park.

MFAH is a vast space that houses an impressive collection of arts and artifacts. Among its renowned pieces are works by Monet, Van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Henri Matisse, and many more. The museum also features an Islamic Art Collection, Roman Catholic collection, and African Gold exhibit. Additionally, MFAH offers numerous immersive and interactive experiences for visitors. I particularly enjoyed walking through Ernesto Neto: SunForceOceanLife. A great experience for both adults and kids. Frida: The Making of an Icon, a captivating exhibition, graced the halls of MFAH in January and will leave May 17. This remarkable exhibition showcases over 30 works by the iconic artist. Among the treasures on display are her authentic dresses, back braces, corset, and boot, offering a glimpse into her life and artistic journey. If you are a fan, this is a must visit. You will not be disappointed. Note: Special exhibitions like Frida's is only $10 on Thursdays.

There were a handful of theatres for guests to sit in and experience various historical moments pertaining to space exploration. We only watched "Moon Walkers" narrated by Tom Hanks. We didn't go to all the tram stops (complimentary with your ticket), but we did stop at George W.S. Abbey Rocket Park Tour. It was cool to see! Other things you should know about the Space Center: -It's a huge campus, and the museum itself is only a small portion. -My wife went 15 years ago, and it's gotten a LOT better apparently. So if you haven't been in a decade or more, give it another shot. -They don't have much pertaining to the recent Artemis mission. We went as the astronauts were heading around the moon, but we didn't see any current info. -It's great for kids, especially over the age of six or so. -You should book some tours in advance. By the time we got up there, most things were sold out except Rocket Park. -Rocket Park is still cool. The sheer size of the Saturn is incredible. Take the little trolley and say hi to the longhorns. -The Food Lab (the food court) is hit or miss. The salad bar was surprisingly great, and the pizza is abysmal. DO NOT GET THE PIZZA. -You should go in with an open mind, ready to learn. That goes for everything, not just the Space Center. -You know where astronauts hang out? At the space bar.
