Every time I go there (at least once a week) I learn a little something new about whatever I'm looking for (dice, minis, etc.) Every single time I've been there I've walked out with exactly what I was looking for because of the huge selection of well, everything. Not to mention significantly cheaper than other comic book stores, even in dnd boss mini prices (which are overpriced wherever you go). It's the best price you'll find no matter where you look. I cannot put into words how much I recommend this place. 11/10

Was really impressed by the amount of tables available to sit down and find someone to play. The bar was even cooler and I'm sure gets used quite a bit on tournament days. Definitely a must stop if you're into TCG and table top games in Houston

Spoke to Dan and he was super friendly and really happy to show me some cool stuff in his store. It may be small, but this place is packed with cool figures (both loose and unopened). I was also really impressed with the video game and console selection. He even had some art made from old Nintendo Power magazines. Prices seemed totally fair and Dan was very transparent about how he determines the value of things. I ended up buying a couple of framed Super Metroid pages pulled from Nintendo Power and a ToyBiz X-Men figure I had been looking for. I highly recommend this place, whether you're looking for retro game stuff, figures, comics, etc. I'll definitely be heading back in the future.

The owner and everyone I've interacted with that works there has always been super friendly and approachable. They have a huge selection of still unopened action figures. They also have some display cases with cool statues and even some video games. Their comic selection is small but they do still have some cool trades and individual issues. I've bought a few figures and statues from them in the past and the prices were always totally reasonable. Today I was not going to buy anything as I had some things that I wanted to sell. The owner was really easy to work with and offered a fair value for my stuff. Process was quick and easy. This place is awesome and I definitely recommend it.

His honesty,to be honest, really threw me off. But at the same time, I knew that I could come back because I could trust him. And that's exactly what I did. I did shop around. I did get better offers, but I came back to Robert because of his honesty and not only did he make good on the offer he originally gave me, but he made even better on it by letting me shop the store adding additional value to the offer! I couldn't believe it! Literally, made my whole Christmas come together. Not only to mention that the store itself is easy to shop, has huge selection of Funkos, comic books, figurines, games, all kinds of stuff. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is extremely helpful. I forgot the girls name who helped me, but she was great! I will be sending all of my friends there for their gaming needs. I brought my friend who is a big anime lover and the moment we went inside, his face lit up like a small boy in a toy store...i mean it's not that far fetched lol! he instantly left my side and i knew this place was definitely a comeback! i am not sure of what all he seen but i took pictures of my favorite things i was very interested in! ESPECIALLY the Heavy Metal vintage 1970 comic books. I'm sure the value of those magazines where literally a lot of in one of the employees opinions, "PRICELESS." I agree.LIKE WHAAAAAT! only had three because one donor donated loads of things and these were the only comics they donated, so if you have some old comics lying around, come to Misfit Toys and donate them, i would love to take them off of you! my favorite thing about this store (besides the comics) was the figures. The Simpsons was such a vibeeee! I literally wanted all of them and the backdrops! Also, the Michael Myers collectors doll with all the matching pieces....would be the perfect gift for anyone who is an obsessed fan of Halloween or just horror genre in general. I also loved the arcade game machine in the front right before you open the door :) such a throwback 80s/90s feel! Not sure what game is on the Arcade machine, but it works perfectly! I hope my pictures do justice, I can always upload the rest I have but here's a few :) It's so much more inside that I'm pretty sure i missed, but from The X-Files to Star Wars and even HUGE Transformers toys, it was so much that caught my eye, I can't keep up! experience Misfit Toys at least once! After talking to some vendors, it seems they've been here since late January. Pros + Basically like a TCG con/show, but it's every weekend + Solid group of vendors (approx 51). Lots of Pokemon, some One Piece, MTG, Union Arena, and other collectibles. Pretty friendly vendors, some are extra passionate, several degenerate rippers also. Most price right at market, but are willing to work with you if you pay in cash. + In terms of Pokemon, good amount of sealed and singles, maybe a little light on the $1000+ stuff + Decent hours, as late as 10pm for Friday. + Free parking + Free entry + Special events, like Hello Kitty, or toys + Weekly tournaments (can't attest to the attendance) Cons - A/C situation seems bad, several vendors have fans running. The midday might be rough. - Parking is slightly limited, but apparently they open up a side lot on the weekend. - Google Maps navs to this weirdly, due to how the parking lot is blocked up by Texas Children's. Make sure the instructions have you arriving via Bissonnet. - Restroom is inside the suite area, but no easy access elsewhere. Restroom conditions not bad, but also not great. - Food options in the atrium not great, but I guess some is better than none. Happy to give CCS a solid recommendation, given its permanent status, free entry & parking, and central location making it a solid contender relative to the other shows. I give Charlies Collectible Show Houston 5 god packs in an ETB, out of 5.
