I recently stopped by here with my boys after having some services done at the salons next door and am SO glad we decided to pop in! From the moment you open the door - the smell of comics (and even my own childhood!) consume you. There is SO much to see and look for - it's easy to spend the whole day inside and potentially go broke. My kids gravitated right to the youth section, which was aptly positioned right near the entrance (I say aptly, because once you venture in a bit more, you do have to pass by the more "adult" side of the comic world), and immediately found a few new additions to their at-home library! As if that wasn't enough to reel one in, they even sat down to indulge in a few chess moves. ;) Of course, finding all the nostalgia and collectibles further toward the back of the store was icing on the cake. There were several aisles of toys and figures - pop culture and more! - should that tickle your comic book-loving fancy. Just don't say I didn't warn you! I love that the staff welcomed the kids and engaged with them. The two young(er) folks working that day were super knowledgeable and well-versed in the comic book world and I am here for it. They took time to share all about the store, the programs and clubs of times past - here's to hoping they come back!! - and offered a much needed welcome to the comic book kids of today in this area. If I'm being honest, it made for a great first-time visitor experience. I loved the whole vibe and feel the store had. The play area was just about the right size--not too big, not too small. It felt like the area could comfortably seat 8, maybe 10 Commander pods of 4 players. It felt cozy, like I was in my teens again playing some TCGs at a friend's house. The player base also seemed pretty nice from the people I got to interact with. I didn't really get to change up pods much, but that's more on me than a reflection of the store or its player base due to deck tweaking after a few good rounds. They did seem like they had a healthy little cEDH playgroup there too. Also, at one point, they handed out a free promo card, and I got a Retro Frame Syr Konrad, which was neat! And man, one thing I never even thought about judging a card shop on was how clean their bathrooms were... which, spoilers!!!! Were immaculate. I've never been in a storefront, let alone a card shop, with such a clean bathroom. Most card shop bathrooms look like they belong in a gymnasium. All in all, I'd definitely give this place a 10/10. If you're in the Spring, TX area and need a home TCG store for Tuesday Night Magic (EDH), I couldn't recommend this place more!

Parking is reasonable, and it is well lit. It is accessible. They have an active discord page. PRICES: very reasonable for everything. Prices are listed with tax included, so you know exactly what you are spending. Lots of snacks and drinks. Bathrooms are clean. Thursday's are the busiest for MTG commander, Wednesdays are really good for board games and they have a selection to play with. The 'regulars' are friendly, helpful and new players are welcome.

The store owner greeted me amidst the cheers of a successful die roll. He was friendly and welcoming, encouraging me to look around and let him know if there is anything he could help me with. Located East of Tomball, well before the railroad tracks that marked the unofficial​ entry into the town proper. The store has a large parking area with nearby food (Artega's Mexican Grill and a Subway) across the street from a local high school, (Concordia Lutheran). The store is small, but has several fold up tables for games. The selection comprises a large Warmachine and Hordes selection, Pathfinder RPG books, the latest Magic the Gathering booster packs, along with dice, and some dice bags. A selection of drinks and snacks are available for purchase. His inventory is small, but he informed me that he is going to expand it soon. I'm always happy to see a new game store open and the community enjoying it so quickly. I have hopes this new store will endure the difficulties that come and thrive and grow.

While I was test-sleeving the cards I met with the store general manager Ken and Derek, one of the managers. Gave Derek a KL starter. He and Ken were extremely professional and hospitable. We also had an amazing and fruitful gameR chat. The store is amazing, well-stocked, clean. The management also makes sure that noise level from players talking is kept in control. I came back the next day to buy more card sleeves. Another store employee was there to take care of me. She was likewise amazing. A great gaming store for gamers who wish to have fun and rest.

While my brother is a MUCH MORE Magic: The Gathering player, I am not and I do not have much experience playing Magic. I almost always lose. My brother asked me to play a commander game with me and showed me which cards to play and way and I ended up winning for my first time so I guess I got the "bug" for playing it. Remembering that Ettin Games sells Magic cards & etc., I looked them up on their website and read their event calendar. When I see that they do commander casual play, it peaked my interest so I called to ask about their events. When I called, I first spoke to a SUPER nice and helpful employee named CJ who explained their events to me. I explained that I would like some help learning how to play Magic: The Gathering; that I'm not very good at playing it; and I don't have much experience. CJ told me that every week, they have players that come and LOVE to work with and help new players play MTG and that, also, their "Magic Guy", Willie would be there and that Willie plays MTG and loves to help other players as well. I was told that Willie would help me put together a White deck and BOY did he!!! I was SO EXCITED and grateful!! I meet several REALLY COOL people (2 of which helped me ALOT). Both Willie and another player let me play their decks and try them out! I had SO MUCH FUN!!! Willie put together a really nice white deck for me that I'm SUPER EXCITED to try out!! I can't wait to go back next Thursday!!! I'm also SUPER EXCITED about my new "Black Widow" playing mat and sleeves!!
