This review is based off of helping my sister when the door/lock mechanism of her car door broke this week. We put in a "request a quote" via Yelp, Capital Locksmith responded within a couple of hours, a locksmith came out the same day and made a diagnosis. She ended up needing a completely new mechanism because it jammed and he drove out to a Toyota dealership the same day to get the part and returned promptly in order to put it back together. I unfortunately can't remember the name of the gentleman that assisted us. He was quick, direct, and efficient. As anything that comes with the fear of getting something with your car fixed, we were terrified of being cheated on pricing. Once he provided a quote, we were able to quickly confirm with our local mechanic via phone call that it sounded legit. This morning, while leaving for work, the doorknob simply fell apart in my hands as I was pulling the door shut. I looked up Locksmiths on Yelp and up popped CapitaLocksmith. I gave them my info online and I got a call from them within 10 minutes of my post; Bill was only 20 minutes away and arrived promptly. I explained the situation to Bill and he quickly provided me with various options for my situation. Within only an hour and 15 minutes, I had a New door knob with lock and a deadbolt installed ( of which he had to increase the diameter of the space for the lock) and multiple keys made to fit not just the 2 locks previously mentioned, but also other locks for the house. I requested quotes from the top two rated locksmiths in my area on Yelp; Capital Locksmith responded in 10 minutes while the other answered almost 48 hours later. I appreciated the clear and friendly communication from their dispatcher, who gathered the information needed to remove and replace the padlock on my PODS container; and she kept me posted on the arrival time of the locksmith. Capital Locksmith performed the work even though I was outside of their regular service area; though, understandably, they had to adjust the travel charge.
