I would like to point out that JIM, a long-term, part time employee has ALWAYS been helpful, polite and wonderful in every way. He himself earns a five star rating *****, but sadly not everybody has Jim's high standards for customer service.

They got to our 2 bedroom apartment right on time, and even though we had quite a bit more than they anticipated (definitely a miscalculation on my part) they came more than prepared with extra truck space, blankets, tape, wrap, and more. We moved into a single family home and they delicately, quickly, and safely put everything where we envisioned, reassembled everything perfectly, and didn't complain once when my wife had them move things just a hair here, there, and everywhere. It really made it SO easy for us to get settled in and just be able to focus on our baby coming. I would recommend ManyHands to any and everyone in North Shore, Boston, South Shore, really anywhere in New England that they cover. By March, I was in MA and finally found a place to live in May and scheduled the POD for delivery...it was a day late, they moved it to another storage facility so I could not see it..they delivered it with a POD-installed COMBINATION LOCK and did not tell the driver or ME - we had to get it cut off and then found SEVERAL THINGS MISSING but PODS did not accept responsibility for anything, and would only take $100 off the final bill (moving and storage) and the driver was a subcontractor who could not even cut the lock off. They have no customer service and when you make valid statements that they don't like, they send you a sanctimonious email and want you to tell the "social media" contact (not a manager with a name) your ID and info so they can totally ignore you. They NEVER called or apologized or did anything that would make me want to ever use them again and I won't. I should have gone with UHAUL...DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$ ON PODS - THEY ARE NOT A BUSINESS, THEY ARE A RACKET.

We booked the move, confirmed the time, and they started communication / confirming details of the move about 7 days ahead of time. Even better communication day of move. The team of superstar movers (Arlen, Marvin, and Roberto) showed up at the early end of our appointment, quickly and efficiently loaded the truck, made a second stop in Cambridge on the way, and met us at the apartment.
