I originally did it with automatic payments so I wouldn't have to worry about missing payments. Boy was I wrong. Automatic payments were taken out in the beginning as I applied for. All of the sudden automatic payments weren't taken out. You would think the storage facility would call me, email me, text me, or inform me any other way that I have a missing payment. 1 missing payment turns into 4 missing payments at a total of $900.00. John thought it was a great idea to text me on my fourth missing payment to inform me I have $900.00 in missing payments. Now I call John furious because there shouldn't be any missing payments because of the fact I did auto pay. There was a lengthy discussion and John specifically tells me "I'll take the extra lock off your storage. Come grab all your stuff and leave." We then confirmed with John that there will be no payment due because of the fact that it should've been taken out automatically. He did confirm that there will not be any payment due just grab the stuff so he can rent it back out. Fast forward you today. I grab my stuff and tell him it's all set and he sends me a text saying "I'll be filing w. The collections Bureau have a nice day." He's upset with me because he didn't do his job the right way and 1) take the payments out automatically 2) didn't inform me that it wasn't being taken out due to their system. If you decide to have a storage from this company make sure you make your payments every Month because They will rack up you bill and Threaten you!

In a previous review, I recall offering my gratitude to Karen for her helpfulness and gracious way of interacting. Today, I want to provide a shout-out to Mark, who was very respectful and personable in helping me fix a small mistake I made when I closed the door to my own storage unit incorrectly leaving the latch on the outside of the door. I was able to open the space up again and properly close the door, and Mark was helpful in the way he taught me how to use the latch correctly without making me feel bad for the error. We've interacted before; every time he was beyond courteous and easily conveyed enthusiasm for his role as a person who makes it easy and anxiety-free for people who often find themselves in a transitional life phase (which is why they/I needed to place things in storage). I have pictures of the missing items and a police report for the theft but company indicates it won't cover any damages. Paid for insurance to cover any loss, not worth spending the money on this or the rental as that cost almost doubled in price in just over 1 year. One other point, found out from the police that the facility had been broken into just a couple months before I identified my loss but was never told of the break-in and was actually lied as the manager indicated they had never had a break-in prior to my report.
