It was nice to support a local MA, family-owned business that supports good causes. I originally called a competitor and got patched through to a customer service person on the other side of the country. It was nice to talk to somebody local at Mi-box who knows the area. Today, I want to provide a shout-out to Mark, who was very respectful and personable in helping me fix a small mistake I made when I closed the door to my own storage unit incorrectly leaving the latch on the outside of the door. I was able to open the space up again and properly close the door, and Mark was helpful in the way he taught me how to use the latch correctly without making me feel bad for the error. We've interacted before; every time he was beyond courteous and easily conveyed enthusiasm for his role as a person who makes it easy and anxiety-free for people who often find themselves in a transitional life phase (which is why they/I needed to place things in storage). They Suck! I was at…read morethe location across from the loop. Trucks are DANGEROUS because they are so outdated, windows filthy, and they take advantage of you on the gas policy. They informed me again that they could not help me. Messaged Emily on Yelp and am awaiting a response. *** Three years here, two units, autopay, never a late payment. In that time, my 10x20 went from $223 to $375, and my 5x10 went from $47 to $126: $501 a month total. The same two sizes at this facility are currently advertised at $346 in-store, and even lower online. I emailed the store office, called the store, and called corporate to ask for a rate review. No response to the email or the call in-store, and corporate declined to help. Upkeep has been poor too. Screws and debris left in the drive lanes and rows, which is a real problem at a place that rents vehicle storage. I shouldn't be worrying about a flat pulling out of a unit I pay $375 a month for. Long-term customers here pay 2x to 3x more than new ones for identical space regardless of their history, and there's apparently nobody you can talk to about it.
