Worst Experience every. Moved from Denver to Corpus Christi, TX and during setting up the move I…read morewas offered the "earliest" delivery window and within that window it would be 2-12 days for delivery. I took it since it was the earliest. On pick up it was three guys who spoke mostly russian loading a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. It took 10 hours and they strugged to get it all moved. They left items that were supposed to be moved and took items marked for not being moved. They also commented how they could not "afford" additional help. Things were packed in random boxes and not every item was specifically stated as what box it was in. Then my items were unloaded in a warehouse and loaded by another person without my knowledge. I never agreed to this, I just took the window they told me was the earliest. At delivery it was another 3 days, the main one russian. They handed us the inventory and began moving boxes in 5-6 at a time and placing them inside, in garage, upstairs, wherever they wanted. Only after 10 minutes did they tell us we needed to check on the numbers on the sheet as boxes came in. It was complete chaos. We had a $2600 bed frame damaged, a $1500 TV scratched, $400 coffee table broken, $1000 worth of speakers not delivered at all, and a $1000 mattress totally soaked in water from not being wrapped properly. I filed my claim and after filing it I was told that I would only get $0.60 cents a per pound equalling $330. They said I chose to have my items in warehouse, which I did not, I took the earliest window. I also did not agree to have movers treat our stuff with disrespect and drag it across the ground as it was moved. This company has practice policies of hiring third party movers and taking no accountability for them.

We selected Movepro because of there promptness and honesty from Mark on he initial call Make who…read morecame to provide the estimate advised that it was a estimate and could be more or less Once again being honest and being up front meant a lot We had to two moves within the same complex . The Movepro move team arrived on time and worked with m wife and I on what needed to be moved for the 1st and 2nd move once completed in the old house they asked my wife to check everything to her satisfaction. The crew also packed the furniture with shrink wrap and move blankets as advertised... The crew of Javier Rodney and Anthony were excellent. My wife was very pleased with their work and professionalism.... We would recommend Movepro to everyone who are planning to move I can not express our gratitude for the great work they did Thank YOU

Highly unprofessional! On the phone owner himself initially proposed a flat rate which we happily…read moreagreed to. Then by the time the moving day came owner said that flat rate was not available and will charge an hourly rate. Instead of 11am sharp as promised showed up at 12:30... After they finally parked the track at 12:45 they again told us that this is an hourly rate job and they will charge starting from 12:15. If this is not acceptable that they will not even get out of the track. As we had no choice we agreed. Both movers were older guys who moved very slowly. Both were not in a good mood to put it lightly. One seemed to be more experienced mover and the other one was probably just a new guy. The second guy right away complained that the boxes were heavy... Not sure what was his expectation. We hired movers to move boxes. Heavy boxes. Books, household items, furniture and etc. This is what in theory professional movers do. They move heavy boxes, right? The more experienced guy actually said "What is your favorite piece of furniture that you don't want us to bang?". We don't want movers to bang any of our furniture! Still puzzled by that question! First thing that the second guy did he lifted a box from the floor and dropped it on our glossy antique cabinet. We immediately asked them to remove it and be very careful with the furniture. The guy was very displeased. The next thing that he did he rolled a metal lift cart right in the middle of the living room and loudly slammed it against the glossy hardwood floor. We had to ask to keep the cart in the hallway. These things should not be even mentioned to professional movers. They are not there to scratch the hardwood floors or damage furniture at the rate of $120 per hour. In the next two hours two guys moved three 30-50lb. boxes and one piece of furniture into their track. In these two hours they disappeared twice for about 15-20 minutes. On the second time we started looking for them. Went to their track outside. Came back. Went outside again. Came back. They were not working! Then found them in the basement floor talking on the phone. Confronted why they are doing that at the billing rate of $120 per hour they became very aggressive. The second mover kept on making mumbling noises and smirking offensively. When asked not to do that he jumped on my husband screaming "Lets go outside! ... outside! ... Do something...". We started to record him on video and he walked away mumbling. At this point both movers were highly agitated and the more experienced guy said they will throw everything from their vehicle on the ground and leave. We told them that we will call the police right away and called their owner. For about half an hour they were outside talking on the phone. Then withing the next 20 minutes everything was brought back to the 3 floor. The second mover made sure that he banged the only piece of furniture that they had against the walls as much as he could. Unfortunately, I did not record that on video. Then they left. Certainly not the people to move fine furniture! It is just amusing how it took them two hours to put the few items into their track and then took just 20 minutes to bring back everything when they realized they are not getting paid for their time. If we could give them zero stars I would. They do not deserve even one star. We just wish we called the police and had this guy straighten out.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ray & his gang. They accommodated all my needs,…read moreincluding ones that changed, and they took great care in moving my items quickly and carefully. Also, Ray had the insight and knowledge to inform me about getting a parking permit in Cambridge, which would have been a huge problem if he hadn't warned me! Lastly, Ray took the time to explain all my questions, even if they felt kind of crazy, and he never made me feel weird about asking at all. Movers can be awful, but not these guys. Boston Moving Service is simply the best! And affordable! Thank you!!!
