Thanks to these guys they helped me overcome my issues. From the very beginning I called them they assured me of stress free service and delivered what they promised. Communication and booking were very easy. The movers came on time, I was still finishing up packing of my stuff. The guys told me to 'seat back and relax, we'll do packing for you'. So long story short: I received my things at my new place as I scheduled them to be delivered - on time, safe and sound, no damage! Thank you, guys, you are the best!

I think everyone except the movers from Long Distance Movers knew that a global pandemic was taking…read moreplace. The movers arrived at my apartment in Cambridge with no face masks. One had a mask around his neck, and the rest of the two movers didn't have them. When I informed them politely that Cambridge has a law that requires you to wear face masks in public places, such as the apartment building lobby they were standing in, all three pulled out masks from their pockets. I said great, please put them on. They did and walked to the elevator, then took them off. WTF? I say nothing, and when we got to our apartment on the ninth floor, I asked them again to put them on, this time a little annoyed since they don't seem to be taking this seriously at all. They said they can't put them on since moving is cardio-intensive and putting on a mask will hinder their work. Well, excuse me, there's a f**king pandemic going on and they are refusing to wear a mask inside my home? I had no other choice but to turn a blind eye since we were leaving from Boston to California that day and we had no other choice. The "quality assurance" guy reached out to me when we got to California and I informed him about my displeasure on the mask situation, and then I NEVER heard back from him, until I told him I was going to write this review. He called and said "they did not want to be defamed on the internet". lol. My pet food storage box, trash can, and some small items had dents when they got here, so I won't comment on the moving services. But please don't consider Long Distance Movers, please, for your OWN HEALTH'S SAKE.

Anyway, if you need movers, their prices are fair, their information was excellent. Money was tight and they told me the best way to stay in budget while moving things. I HIGHLY recommend them! They were so professional, hardworking and extremely careful with my things and where I moved into they asked me where I wanted things and I had them change a few things and they were so great about everything and the young guy Danny that was with them worked so hard and never took a rest and he did great because he's learning from the 2 best movers I have ever dealt with and on top of the hard work they all did they were extremely funny and made me laugh through it all and it made my experience all the more better. Also, they were the most honest guys on more than one occasion they handed me some change they found that I would have never missed. I would highly recommend them and never use anyone else. All I know is these guys worked harder than anyone I ever dealt with and they deserve to be well paid. Paula R.

The attic is only accessible through a cut out in the upstairs hallway with a drop-down ladder, and you have to crawl around on your hands and knees to get to stuff. It was also pretty hot up there today. Despite these difficulties, they worked diligently and got the job done in the time we had planned, plus a sofa and a gas grill moved to the dumpster to boot. I work for a mid-sized medical device company, and we had to move our entire finished goods warehouse in 3 weeks. Everything had to be inventoried, tagged, and wrapped before it could move. In addition, our inventory is fragile and temperature sensitive. Not only did the Brother Movers employees follow our strict guidelines right away the first time, but we actually had to slow them down; they got so far ahead of schedule we had to take time off in order to still have product through the end of the shipping run at the old warehouse.
