Worst Experience every. Moved from Denver to Corpus Christi, TX and during setting up the move I was offered the "earliest" delivery window and within that window it would be 2-12 days for delivery. I took it since it was the earliest. On pick up it was three guys who spoke mostly russian loading a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. It took 10 hours and they strugged to get it all moved. They left items that were supposed to be moved and took items marked for not being moved. They also commented how they could not "afford" additional help. Things were packed in random boxes and not every item was specifically stated as what box it was in. Then my items were unloaded in a warehouse and loaded by another person without my knowledge. I never agreed to this, I just took the window they told me was the earliest. At delivery it was another 3 days, the main one russian. They handed us the inventory and began moving boxes in 5-6 at a time and placing them inside, in garage, upstairs, wherever they wanted. Only after 10 minutes did they tell us we needed to check on the numbers on the sheet as boxes came in. It was complete chaos. We had a $2600 bed frame damaged, a $1500 TV scratched, $400 coffee table broken, $1000 worth of speakers not delivered at all, and a $1000 mattress totally soaked in water from not being wrapped properly. I filed my claim and after filing it I was told that I would only get $0.60 cents a per pound equalling $330. They said I chose to have my items in warehouse, which I did not, I took the earliest window. I also did not agree to have movers treat our stuff with disrespect and drag it across the ground as it was moved. This company has practice policies of hiring third party movers and taking no accountability for them. read more

We selected Movepro because of there promptness and honesty from Mark on he initial call Make who came to provide the estimate advised that it was a estimate and could be more or less Once again being honest and being up front meant a lot We had to two moves within the same complex . The Movepro move team arrived on time and worked with m wife and I on what needed to be moved for the 1st and 2nd move once completed in the old house they asked my wife to check everything to her satisfaction. The crew also packed the furniture with shrink wrap and move blankets as advertised... The crew of Javier Rodney and Anthony were excellent. First off, two stars are for the movers. They were amazing but let me explain.... We chose MovePro as they were willing to match the lowest price we got and added a "will not exceed" clause-- but it had small writing below the clause... Let me first say that the movers were amazing. They showed up on time but were clearly misinformed about how little we would have packed (husband had kidney stones and I had a high risk pregnancy) The movers were extremely patient, understanding, respectful, approachable, amazing gentlemen. The unpacking went perfectly smooth and I simply cannot stop raving. I even posted a positive video review about THE MOVERS on their Facebook page. We loved them! Here is where I had a major issue... I was a risk pregnancy and I told Anthony, the estimator, several times that I couldn't pack much at all.. I told him this several times. In the end, the final cost was $925 over the original estimate (we paid $2525 for a 3 bedroom split level house) All because Anthony did not communicate the job to the movers. The movers worked as fast as they could. When we called Anthony after we had to pay, he argued that we never told him how little we packed..We had to pay the full price because we had a contract and the stipulation below the "do not exceed clause" basically said that if the job was miscommunicated, we had to pay. It comes down to what we told him versus what "he heard." If you choose MovePro, choose them because of the amazing movers, but do not let Anthony in your house. If he is the only estimator available, choose a different company. read more

Met with Mark from Move Pro and I was happy with the estimate. We were passing papers on the house we were selling early Monday morning so the guys from Move Pro came out on Sunday morning. The guys were all great but one stood out from the rest. Javier was amazing. We were so happy with the move that when it came time to move my brother into my home we contacted Mark again. I used MovePro to load a POD. The price for a few hours of labor was good, and best of all they were available exactly when I needed them. The guys (Kevin & Chris) showed up on time and with a good attitude. The pre-planning as far as how much could be fit into the POD was solid, as those expectations ended up being met. Still, the guys planned on their own based on what I told them was going in, and they loaded it up thoughtfully. It was a pleasure working with them for the few hours it took, as they were a personable, hard working crew. There was a slight issue with the final billing, regarding travel costs, that had to be attended to by an office manager/family member. But it's all good, as Jake figured out what the miscommunication had been and made everything right. I evaluated movers carefully, met with 3 or 4 and chose MovePro due to their professionalism, veteran ownership and willingness to do a "not to exceed" bid. So glad we chose them. We were moving a lot of stuff including a prized french antique hutch and everything went off without a hitch. They helped us pack, then put our belongings on a truck while the two closings occurred. I highly recommend Move Pro. They wrapped everything in blankets and then shrink wrap. The guys were all very nice and so careful. The day we moved was very hot so they worked extra hard because of this. They kept our stuff in the truck for two days until we could get in our place. I had a great experience with Move Pro. The estimate (Jeff) would have been exact, if we had not added 17 days of on-truck storage to our move, due to construction delays. I had to change the date of our move-in several times, and found the staff (Mark, Mike and Mike) to be very accommodating...several employees gave me their cell phone numbers to facilitate communication... The movers on both legs of our move were professional, careful and hard-working...nothing broken or damaged...interested in making sure they put things where we wanted them, repositioned furniture when we got it wrong...great customer service. read more

MovePro damaged THOUSANDS of dollars of my personal belongings and damaged by New Home. Owner told me he was too busy to come to my home to see damage. I know longer have family heirlooms or a Christmas Village that I collected over the years because they were SMASHED into a million pieces. Other damages are broken lamps, Headboard to my bed, broken dining room hutch door all of these items were packed and stored by MovePro. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THEM. We used Move Pro to move from the suburbs to Cambridge. They were helpful, responsive, and professional from the first call we made to them, through the move itself, and right to the final bill. I used Anthony for a move accross town and although his crew did a fine job, he quote was 30% off and if it weren't for me helping all day they wouldn't have finished the job. The truck wasn't big enough and they clearly didn't have enough guys to do the job in the quoted time. I would use someone else unless you want to pay more than you should. read more

I had them pack for me and move me the next day. It was a partial move. We had several issues, first they told me they couldn't take my futon apart, then they couldn't get my couch upstairs. The worst part was they broke many items. glass coffee table, lamp globe, serving dishes, special sentimental ceramics, crock pot, pitcher, etc. I didn't sign up for full replacement value so I was stuck. The glass coffee table alone was $240. After a discussion with Anthony he did come and deliver my couch to my apartment and also the futon. The cost was $2325, more than expected. I used MovePro for my move last week. On the positive side, the guys who did the moving were prompt, professional and worked hard. They were a good team and I was very happy with them. If my review was only based on the labor I would have given it four stars. But I am giving it a low mark because I was not thrilled with my estimate, which was off by two hours and should have included a third guy at least for the off-load. The guy who did the estimate seemed professional and knowledgable. I had questioned it before signing a contract and was assured that it was a good one. I had questioned having only two guys and was assured that a third would get in the way. Even taking the rain for the first hour or so into consideration, the move ended up costing me 25% more than the estimate, and with my tight budget I was not pleased about that.
