Five stars people. For movers. And it sounds like we all know how shifty, shady and downright sh*tty moving can be. So if you're ready for a totally trustworthy, fluid, fast-yet-careful, and (I'll say it) joyful moving experience, do yourself a favor and HIRE THESE GUYS. It's always mystified me that in a land where customer service is king, "movers" fell under this charmed category where they were absolved of accountability. Why is that ok? It's not, and I decided this time, thrifty as I am, that I would find an accountable outfit. I called 3 highly-recommended companies, one which sent a representative over with a clip board to audit and estimate my move (thoughtful, but in the end... too fastidious for my 1 bedroom apartment move. I don't have a full home of antiques.) And while I'm sure all three companies would've done me right, these guys won me over with their east-coast directness and their Boston friendliness. They sounded like they've done this a lot, they answered all my questions, and they instilled confidence. I felt good about my choice. On move day, Alex and Eric got it DONE and done right. They showed up on time, and within seconds the boxes were piling up in the truck. And while speed is great, if they worried about squeezing a nice wood bed frame down a stairwell because they're philosophically against "jamming" wood against wood to see which will give first (hello broken frame), they took the time to disassemble it (i believe it was a 10 minute effort) and reassemble on the other side. How wonderful is that? {I can tell you whoever jammed my bed frame UP the stairwell--a move i did n*o*t organize nor oversee--didn't give it the same respect... I'd been wondering how those awful sideboard scratches got on there.} With these guys, there were no random scratches on any piece of furniture, nothing broke, and everything happened on time and on estimate. And they were fun! If you want to hire people off the street, do it. If you'd like a pair of responsible, respectful, young, strong, honest, tireless guys showing up and aiming to please, with tons of experience and a wonderful working relationship, line it up with Can't Stop Moving and enjoy your move! (I recommended these guys to a friend moving that same week. Her move took 13 hours, for she actually does have a home full of antiques, and she too was head over heels about how smoothly it all went and the quality of their work. Well, I so wanted to like these guys as movers but! It has been about a week since the move and I am sure that my perspective is fair. I have moved a number of times and this move was not the worst. But bad for three specific unprofessional reasons. 1) When you move a person not only do you represent your company but you also represent your customer in their old and new neighborhood. Completely inappropriate conversations were had by Can't Stop Moving with the manager of the Condo concerning basic elevator rules. The manager said that he would not let Can't Stop Moving back on to the property in the future. Elevator ceiling fixture were broken and not paid for or replaced like Alex said he would.... at the time this is being written. 2) The supplies used were not appropriate. The move was 5 BLOCKS away. 5 hours was spent wrapping furniture with 2inch stretch wrap. Properly wrap furniture with a moving blanket tape and or band would have given any antique 10 times more protection. Nothing needed to be stacked everything was on the floor and only 1/2 of the truck floor was used. The attention to detail was miss guided 3) I think #3 is the most important. The stress of moving has been compared to Death and Taxes. So if your moving buddy mouths off at the customer because the customer is unsure of where they want the dresser to go and then proceeds to take his aggression out on that and other furniture (antiques). He needed to leave the job. When getting paid by the hour I would imagine that Can't Stop Moving would be happy to move that one dresser around for 5 hours. Yes Alex is cordial and attentive to request. Association is powerful.... and someone that does not protect his feet with a professional shoe might get blood on the carpet and then how are you going to satisfy that customer. I have been there and seen that. The owner sets the tone. So with that said with a bit of team building from Alex potentially Can't Stop Moving will in time be a consistent white glove service for anyone that calls. These are my 2 cents. So this review is long in the making, but I finally am a Yelper, so here we go. I have moved with Can't Stop Moving 3 times in less than 2 years(yeah, i like to move it move it), and these guys are good. I have had the pleasure of meeting 9 of the Can't Stop movers, and I have nothing but good things to say about all of them. First, last summer Alex and Eric(the owners) came out and moved me from a 1BR to a house. Quick, efficient, friendly, and very fun guys. A few months later, I found out that the house I had been living in was so far from being up to code that they were just tearing it down to rebuild, so again I called CSM, and this time Ryan, Dwight, and Chris(not sure if that was his name, sorry) brought all of my stuff to a storage unit until I could find something new. The 3rd move was the most complex. I had found a new home, and now my girlfriend was planning on coming with me. I spoke with both Alex and Eric throughout the planning, and they worked with me to figure out the most efficient method of completing my move. They not only combined all of my stuff from storage and my girls belongings from her 4th floor walkup apartment, but Shawn, Malcolm and Jesse got it done in record time, almost half of the estimated time. Oh yeah, that was the day the snow came and it was 10 degrees out. In summation, hire these guys, let them do their thing, and if you're as impressed as I was, offer them your daughters(or girlfriends in my case, she said after they left how good looking they all were, which ALMOST got me to drop my star rating to a 4). :-D Big thanks to Alex, Eric, and all the guys at Can't Stop who made this hectic time of my life not only manageable, but easy as well. read more

Very pleased with the service. To give context, we normally move ourselves and I have a pretty high bar when reviewing a moving company. I expect excellence and these guys delivered. From the first contact via the online quoting system on their website, I was impressed. I gave lots of details and Johnny got back to me the next day with a detailed quote. He was very responsive over several days answering all my questions. And, they were able to get us moved the week I contacted them. We were on a tight timeline and that was a big relief for us. Other companies were a few weeks out. On the day of the move, our team Ian, Gregory and Cailean, were great!. They called ahead to let me know their expected arrival time and they were there when they said they would be. We had quite a few expensive items and they took meticulous care to wrap all of them not only for transport but for storage. And, quite a few of our items were really heavy and unique (ex, 9ft indoor trees). They got them moved out and into the truck safety. They worked non-stop until everything was wrapped up and in the truck. And their ability to pack the truck was impressive. I have had to do this many times and they did really well. At the drop-off location (a storage unit), they were efficient and got all of our items in the unit. Again, they did a great job optimizing the space. I am still not really sure how they got it all in there, but thank goodness they did. They guys worked well together and were very calm and focused throughout the day. It made for a relaxing move for us. We would use them again and have already recommended this company to friends and family. read more

These guys are the best of the best. We have used them to move twice in the last month (long story) and could not have been happier. After initially talking to them on the phone, we were slightly worried because they seemed far too friendly, helpful and accommodating to be for real. But then they showed up and exceeded every expectation one could have of movers. Alex and Eric are bestial machines. I do not know how they can make their bodies keep going at the rate that they do. Besides having one of the most reasonable hourly rates out there, it is important to keep in mind that they get probably twice as much accomplished in an hour's time than anyone else I have every seen (and with an exceeding amount of care and professionalism). They filled and then unloaded an entire huge moving truck, packed to the very top, in less than six hours the first time, and just over four hours the 2nd time with the help of another great third guy. They carefully tied down and padded everything and overall were exceedingly efficient. The work ethic of these guys is just over the top. It is hard to help feeling ever so slightly inadequate just watching. Moving is inherently unpleasant but these guys' unwaveringly good attitude really helped keep us motivated too. In reality Eric and Alex are probably far too qualified for this line of work and someday will probably have founded the next fortune 500 company. If you want to hire a hassle-free and reliable company with reasonable prices for your next move, look no further than Can't Stop Moving. I picked this company after reading reviews by fellow Yelpers, and they were the right guys for the job. I contacted Can't Stop Moving two weeks before I needed to move and got an immediate reply with an estimate. They answered all my questions and gave me the option of a morning or afternoon move on the date I wanted. They don't require contracts or deposits which, to be honest, unnerved me a little since it seemed too easy. But I'm used to interstate moves with big companies that make you jump through hoops and wait weeks for your belongings to arrive. None of that with Can't Stop Movers. Chris, Jazz, and Jensen arrived on the Saturday of the move, bright and early and smiling, and they proceeded to work their butts off for four hours, moving my things from Alki to Redmond. They were fast, careful, and got even the most awkward and bulky items up and down two narrow flights of steps with a minimum of fuss. Guys, I'm still amazed about that elliptical machine..... Price-wise, they are very fair and are paid by the hour not by the weight of your belongings. But, if you pay with cash, be sure to have more on hand than the estimate suggests, just in case the move takes longer than anticipated. My girlfriend and I used Can't Stop Moving to move the furniture from our old apartment in Seattle to our new condo on Mercer Island the Monday, 8/4/2014. Our appointment was at 10 AM; Dan and Corbin showed up to our apartment complex at exactly 10:00. Our management had double-booked the loading dock, but that didn't slow them down. They took about an hour and a half to load up all our things - it wouldn't have taken nearly as long had they been able to use a dedicated elevator like they'd been promised. It also takes some time to take care of your things - every single piece of furniture was carefully wrapped and locked to the side of the van. When we headed over to our new place, Dan and Corbin spent a few minutes talking with us and asking where things were going to go, and then they went into LIGHTSPEED MODE. Here were guys who work by the hour, LITERALLY RUNNING back and forth to the truck to unload things quickly. It was a warm day and they were drenched. Even with all their speed, they took great care of our things. Nothing got scratched, nothing broken, no marks on the walls, no scrapes on the hardwood floors. On top of everything, both Dan and Corbin were very polite, professional, and friendly. We made sure they had some ice water and some snacks, and tipped well. Based on the other reviews on Yelp, I picked this service and I can honestly attest that they live up to their reviews! I have moved numerous times and used professional movers as well as fellas I've found on Craigslist (Hint: Do not use non-professional movers on craigslist - you'll be sorry if you do). Everyone at this company is AWESOME!!! Malcolm (in the office) is attentive and kind. My move from a 1-bdrm apartment to another 1-bdrm apartment was originally scheduled for a Noon start time and when they had a cancellation, Malcolm called me immediately to see if I would be willing to move the start time up to 9am (of course, I said, "Yes!"). The 3 movers, Johnnie, John and John (yes, the 3 J's) showed up on time and went to work immediately. Everything had already been packed and was ready to go. They moved me from Pioneer Square to Greenwood with a quick stop in between to my storage unit in Greenwood to off load approx. a dozen boxes and then on to my new home. The entire job was complete within 2.5 hours (yes, 2.5 hours)!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about the 3 J's... all of them were extremely kind, thoughtful and very experienced. After all my moving experiences, I cannot imagine not using "Can't Stop Moving" for future moves (although I am hoping it will be a while). They are simply, "THE BEST!". read more

I've left a lot of reviews on various businesses in my time- and this is one of my most sincere. I had a very difficult situation, with complicated steps and horrible ex-roommates that I needed to recover my things from. I called around a dozen places, until one recommend this team to me- While working things out, I understood a huge team was at my side helping me through it. Especially- Jacob, Nian, Mack, Ian, Eric, and Todd. Every person involved was professional, courteous, and eager to help me as best they could in every conceivable way. We probably gave them one of their strangest projects ever, but they handled it like true Pros do. There was never a moment I doubted their professionalism or integrity- and they handled a move while two angry, spiteful harpies breathed down their neck every waking second while keeping their cool. If you're on the fence about who to work with in their area, I can't recommend them enough. The office staff are amazing, and the moving crew is quick and diligent. I hope to see them grow in the future, and if I were still in the area- they would be the only movers I would ever consider. It takes a lot for me to write a review on here and wanted to make sure that I did one for this company. I moved here a few months back and had been traveling quite a bit around the holidays and am just finding time to find some furniture and move it. That being said when I found some local furniture in Belltown I needed to hire a moving company to get this giant piece to my place. I called Can't Stop Moving and they responded very quickly. We scheduled a time for the quick move and then the "storm" hit. Snow everywhere, businesses closed, etc. but Can't Stop Moving was very prompt to reschedule with the seller being unable to get to her office. We ended up having to reschedule a few different times because of public transportation and all that and Can't Stop Moving happily moved the day and time for me/us. When it came time to actually move the furniture the 2 guys that showed up (James and Jesse I believe) were quick, organized, professional and thorough. The were careful with the desk which has a unique paint job and that was all in perfect shape when safely at my house. I just got to this city and whether I have to move places or just one piece of furniture from now on they have my business. Cheers guys. read more

I hired Can't Stop Moving to help me with my 40 foot container that I had shipped from Hawaii. This was a huge job, and I was able to get many details worked out in advance, it was impressive. Malcolm is the point man on the phone, and he is a delight to work with, he makes your job seem like the most important one. I used CSM to unload the container and put it into storage, to put a few things in a temporary apartment, and about a month later to move the entire load into my house. The crew are the nicest guys, very personable, definitely fast, and careful. They do not toss stuff around, they treat boxes and furniture with care. I saw a lot of very good reviews of this company online, that's why I hired them, even though they weren't in my exact area. It was well worth the money to pay for the travel time. My job was a lot of work, yet it seemed to be accomplished quickly, no complaining, no swearing, just smooth work by a crew well accustomed to working with each other, you could see the team work. Really impressed with this outfit, and wouldnt' hesitate to suggest them for moving either household or business -- and I had both. These guys were phenomenal... After having some nightmare moves with other moving companies in the past (damaged furniture, over-charging, lazy work ethic, etc), I did a lot of research this time and these guys came recommended by a friend... And I will definitely, 100% go with them if I ever move again. Eric, Alex, and Ryan were terrific workers-- positive attitudes, courteous and professional, and extremely fast. I should explain that our last house was very difficult to walk through, let alone move furniture. There are four narrow floors inside and a very long, very steep stairway to the driveway. Cant Stop got the job done in one demanding day, and they lived up to their name-- they didn't stop going until the job was done, going from 8:00 in the morning until 3:00am, when everything was carefully unloaded into our new home... It was wonderful to have everything taken care in one swoop, and my wife and I had the rest of the weekend to unpack the boxes, no stress and nothing damaged. (We have some very heavy antique pieces, so this was a tremendous relief)... Their rates are very reasonable, lower than most, and they saved us a lot of money by their efficiency. After living in Tacoma for 20+ years, I was worried about moving to Seattle for work but I had heard great things about Can't Stop Moving from a coworker. I talked with Alex on the phone who reassured me that the move would be as effortless on my part as possible. He wasn't able to do the move himself, but arranged for two of his crew to assist me. Later, he stopped by to make sure that everything went smoothly, which was a great added bonus. I had a lot of antiques and delicate items, which were my parents' and therefore very valuable to me, but they diligently bubble wrapped them and made sure they wouldn't roll around/fall in the truck. With my antique dining room set, they wrapped it in blankets and taped around it so it wouldn't chip or scratch. They had incredible attention to detail. I felt bad that I had so much old, heavy, clunky furniture (my parents left a lot behind), but the guys didn't seem to notice or mind and they house was empty within a few hours. And as soon as we got to my new house, they hustled it up a flight of stairs no problem. Incredibly reasonably priced and really friendly, professional, qualified staff. I chose Can't Stop Moving based on the recommendation of a friend and the reviews on Yelp. I'll admit I was slightly skeptical...can anyone really deserve all of these 5 star reviews? Apparently yes. They completely exceeded our expectations from the start with a quote all the way through the move. They answered my request for a quote within maybe 5 minutes, rates seemed very reasonable and they had our weekend available. They also called ahead of time to confirm our date. They got to the house early, but thankfully didn't try to start early because we needed the extra time for last minute packing! We were moving from a houseboat to a houseboat, which isn't that easy, especially in the rain. You have smallish spaces and have to navigate the dock and steps. They couldn't have been more efficient or careful, and kept things dry. I'd mentioned we had just painted the entire inside of the new house and there is not a single scuff on the walls. It actually took less time than I'd expected, which meant it cost less than I'd expected. I can't say enough about how happy I was with the move. I'd definitely recommend them. I never write reviews and I just now signed up with Yelp just to write a review on these guys. All I got to say is..... FABULOUS!!!!!!! I moved from Southern California to Washington and was staying downtown for a little while. I really needed help moving from busy downtown Seattle to the Ballard area, and o man was I impressed. I never care about writing reviews, but I had to for these gentlemen. Not only were they extremely respectful and polite, but they just got the job done so quickly. I hate to stereotype certain businesses, especially when it comes to moving--but these guys just exceeded my expectations (sorry I dont mean to sound like a b**** to other moving companies). Alex is gracious and kind, and I couldn't have asked for anyhting more out of my move experience. You can tell he wants you to feel taken care of. Eric is a nut and funny as hell--he works hard and I just ahhhhh man am so happy with that move!!!!! I would highly recommend these guys. These guys are as good as it gets!!!! I am very particular (some may say a little controlling) and not only did they do an amazing job, but they did it with a great sense of humor and attitude. First, I was moving out of the most complicated apartment building in Seattle (the Cobb), which if you haven't moved in or out, is a ridiculous maze of hallways and elevators. Second, they were all business and didn't waste time chatting about how/what to move. They knew every minute they were being paid for working and that's what they did. Third, they were so good moving me into my new place (Olive 8) that the move-in manager said they were some of the best movers he had seen. He said, and I quote, "they were so efficient and methodical in the way they packed and unpacked the items, I've rarely seen that." Finally, they didn't scratch, dent or hurt a thing. They were, in a word, AMAZING (oh, and did I mention, VERY reasonably priced)!!! I have never written on a blog, yelp or any other public review source, but these guys were so good that I had to write something on their behalf. Everyone should try them. read more

I used Can't Stop Moving last Saturday and was very pleased with their services. The total cost of the move came in about $150 under estimate and these guys cleaned out a 2 bedroom apartment in about an hour and a half (second story apartment, no elevators). The total move was done in about three and a half hours. These guys really, really hustle. They also took very good care of my furniture, wrapping my couch in two blankets and taping it very securely before it even left my apartment. I mention this because on Sunday, I watched a different moving company move a tenant OUT of the building I was moving into, and these guys carried the furniture out to their truck unprotected, then casually draped a small blanket over the top once it was in the truck. CSM even wrapped my crappy Ikea furniture like it was some precious heirloom, which was not necessary but very appreciated. Thanks to Johnny, Corbin, and Andrii for a job well done. I just finished unpacked everything and can confirm 0% of my things broke during the move. Definitely would use CSM again. read more

These guys right here really hold it DOWN! Who likes to move first of all? No matter what the situation is and the weather being nice, I hate it! But these guys really hold it DOWN! I contacted the Boston Boys via e-mail and they responded fast. Eric came out for an estimate and saw my place and I told him I had a 10x20 storage that is about 85% full As well. I had alot of stuff at my condo and didn't think he was correct with his estimate. He also told me a couple of pointers to help with the move to save time and it really helped us out. All in all, these guys are really good! When the crew came on time, they introduced themselves and I gave them the layout and they hustled all the way until the move was done including the storage unit! I didn't think they could do it as fast as they did it was unbelievable and very impressive watching them work together as a team! End result..these guys finished within the amount of time I was quoted and no damages! Job well done guys! I will be telling all my friends and family to use Can't Stop Moving! read more

I have a huge family so I never needed movers. I would never even consider hiring a moving company. A friend recommended them, so I gave it a go since the family is not in Seattle. It felt as if my family was moving me (but these guys were even better). That's how incredibly comfortable I felt. I trusted them with my belongings, and they were beyond professional. I hate to admit this, but I assumed these guys would show up, and hate moving as much as I did. I respect these gentlemen. They take their job seriously, and they delivered every time. I had a studio on the 4th floor of a tiny Victorian style home. No elevator. They worked it without a complaint or fuss. I was speechless at this point. They are self directed, hard-working, and kind. PROFESSIONAL to a T!!! Not only did they do the job in record time, they gave me a great discount. I would pay double to CSM if they move me again just like they did. I highly recommend them. read more
