If we could give more than 5 stars. we definitely would. The experience with Can't Stop Moving with our move from WA to AZ was exceptional. In fact beyond exceptional. Communication was great, and the men who loaded in Washington and unloaded in Arizona were amazing. Not a single issue or problem. Everything was delivered intact with no scratches, including my wife's beloved piano. In our case we packed all belongings, and they wrapped and blanketed our furniture. Can't Stop Moving loaded and then unloaded. All we had to do was make sure everything we had would fit on the truck. After some cubic foot calculations figuring a 20-30% reduction we discovered ahead of time that what we intended to bring with us wouldn't have fit on the truck. So we reduced our furniture items accordingly, by selling and giving away items. The end result was being nearly spot on and prepared by moving day. The few items that still wouldn't fit were gifted after the moving van was loaded or taken away by the junk hauling people soon after the moving was loaded. What we really liked was, as soon as the moving van was packed, it was headed for AZ, driven by one of the men who loaded the van. We arrived to our new home in AZ 12 hours ahead of the van. We had a fantastic experience with Can't Stop Moving!! It wasn't a huge job, but too much for us to do ourselves. We had two bedroom sets, a dining room table and some living room furniture to move from a condo to a house. There were LOTS of steps involved at the house, but Malcolm and Dwight handled it like pros! They were fast, thorough and just great guys! Our move was a little under 3 1/2 hours which was slightly less than expected which meant less money. Just moved back from London to Seattle. I flew in on a Friday night, and had to be back at work in Seattle on Monday, so I only had the weekend to move. I scheduled these guys to move me from storage to a condo from London, and Alex was extremely quick and responsive with email. I filled in their online form and he quoted me 2.5 hours for my move. To be hones I didn't believe him and budgeted to pay for at least 4 hours. Jesse, James, and Sam met me at my storage unit and where extremely nice, funny, and professional. Very good-natured guys. They were also complete machines at moving. I was shocked that they got the move done in 2 hours, 15 minutes including travel time- even less than the quoted time! We had a great moving experience with Can't Stop Moving. I would recommend them in an instant! They packed up our 3 bedroom house in just a few hours and carefully moved everything across town. I couldn't believe they were able to get everything moved in a day (we had a lot of stuff) but they did it! The movers were friendly and accommodating of our requests throughout the day. And their energy never lagged. I have no idea how they did this, but they'd move all this heavy stuff into the truck and then run back to the house for more boxes! They really Can't Stop Moving! My daughter and her roommate live in Seattle and needed to move a 2 bedroom apartment. I read quite a bit of reviews and decided to go with Can't Stop Moving. I spoke with Alex on the phone & then Malcolm came to inspect. These guys are top notch, my quote was emailed within hours after Malcolm visited. I called Alex to give the date and we actually got a Sunday! I also explained that the girls decided to box everything them selves and just have Can't Stop move the big items and boxes. We used Can't Stop Moving 3 years ago when we helped my daughter move in Seattle. Last week we helped her move to her new apartment and used this company again. Best decision EVER. We had 3 movers and a truck and they got her 1 bedroom move from a house to a 3rd floor apartment done in 2 hours. They are efficient, quick, professional and very reasonably priced. We were the 2nd move of the day (scheduled at 11:30). Got a call about 9:30 saying they were ahead of schedule and would be there at 10:00. Arrived right when they said they would and we were done by noon. They were friendly, funny and upbeat. Made her move so much easier. I recently hired Can't Stop Moving to do a local move for me. This company responded to all of my questions promptly and was very thorough with the details. I did a lot of due diligence to make sure they were licensed and charging appropriate fees per the governing agency UTC. I had a lot of bad experiences in the past with movers so needed to make sure this was a good company. They sent three movers and these guys took extreme care of my furniture by padding and shrink wrapping and worked very fast and efficiently. All three of them were friendly and worked as a team, never complaining. I was very impressed with such great customer service from the office to the movers. I moved with Can't Stop Moving a few weeks ago and had a great experience. First, someone came to my apartment to evaluate my stuff and sent me a detailed estimate. This is my first sign that these guys do good business. A common moving industry scam is to ask about your stuff via phone or email/web, give you a non-binding estimate, then renegotiate for a higher fee after the truck is already loaded because their estimate was off. With an in-person estimate, this trick doesn't work. The day of the move, the guys showed up at my place at 7am on the button (as promised) and started packing. The whole crew was energetic and friendly and very respectful and careful with my stuff. The move was much faster than estimated and came in well under budget. Nothing was broken or damaged. We had a totally satisfying experience with this company from the first contact to handing off the final check after the move. We loved dealing with a small company that was so trustworthy. Gregory, Shawn, and Malcolm were an awesome crew! They were able to accommodate with only a week's notice. Super communicative. They called to ask if they could come early the day of the move since they were done with a prior move early. Called when they arrived as we are in a secure building. Super friendly and duper fast. Was done in under 1.5 hours so we only had to pay the min 2 hour which was what I expected to pay. Very gentle with all furniture and electronics. Super speedy. We did a major move, totaling over 22 hours in total, including packing, moving, and unpacking. Can't Stop Moving made it pleasant. We had 3 teams over 3 days, all of them great. Even though on day 1 and day 3 we were one person short, on day 2 when it counted the most, Eric the owner sent us 6 guys proactively (instead of 5) and boy we needed 6! They also work smart - we have a really complex library system, where every book's location is specific. Can't Stop Moving team in return worked out their own system to make sure they can pack then put the books back exactly as they were. We have tried this 4 times with moving companies, they are the only ones who succeeded! Best of all, everything was done with a smile. You feel that they are a team, and the leaders esp Jacob and Sebastian really do a great job at keeping the team motivated and energized throughout the day. It inspired much confidence in us to see such leadership demonstrated because we could trust that they've got it and the team was being taken care of. Little issues did come up but Eric has been very communicative. I remain positive about his commitment to addressing them for us, even after the move. Net net, a solid 5 star! This past weekend, I hired Can't stop Moving to move my stuff from a condo in Seattle to our new house in Redmond. They sent three guys--Tom, Dwight, and Dan. Let me tell you, these guys are the special forces of the moving world. Without a doubt, this was the easiest, smoothest, most stress-free move I've ever had. These guys were professional, fast, and exceptionally cautious with my stuff. They laid down tarps so they wouldn't track dirt in from outside when they brought my stuff in from the truck. They even offered to move the furniture around in my new bedroom so that I could decide how I wanted to have the stuff organized. My wife and I have moved eight times in the last five years. We've used movers in LA, Orange County, Chicago (twice), Zurich, Shanghai (twice), and Seattle. We've done this a lot. These guys are great! Efficient, courteous and professional. This is the second time we've used them for our move and both experiences were awesome. I spoke with Malcolm fairly frequently before and after the move and he is very upbeat and personable. He's really on the ball with everything and is always helpful and informative in dealing with any questions I had, and on the rare occasion I couldn't get ahold of him directly he always got back to me within 15 minutes. Come move day everything went super smooth even though ours was not the easiest of relocations. The moving crew were fast and efficient, yet always took care to be careful as well. Also, don't forget to check out the moving boxes you can rent from them (standard industrial tubs, like the kind you see employees in pharmacies using to stock the shelves). Another great move with CSM! They came out quickly to provide a quote. The day of the move they were running ahead of schedule and called to ask if it was ok to come early. It was, and they got there about 30 minutes early. They got us packed up and out of our apartment and into our new home quickly and without damage to any of our belongings or to the many walls/doors/elevators that had to traverse. Verbal bullying and terrible customer service skills by crew lead, Shawn. Some quotes from the crew lead to me on the day of my move. "Do you think you can do better?" "Do you want to do this yourself? We're HELPING YOU here. Maybe we should just leave." "Would you sit in a dentist chair and then tell HIM how to do his job?" (sarcastically) "I'm getting ready to move (x) but first maybe I should get YOUR opinion on how this should be done." (All of this in response to a simple request to please be careful with my antique piano when a crew member was ready to scratch the side of it with some boxes he was trying to pull out). I sincerely wish I could give this company a much better rating, as I do believe the owner and manager (who I dealt with outside the physical labor part) were excellent and gave great service. However, I had a very terrible experience with the crew lead, Shawn, who verbally bullied and insulted me on an already very stressful day. I have a lot of antique furniture that I care about which is why I hired these guys. Once the crew came out to my house, I mentioned this and asked (very nicely) that they handle my furniture and things carefully as I've had issues this on previous moves. There was literally no response from the crew, no acknowledgement that I had said anything. That should have been a good clue of things to come... The crew moved quickly and efficiently and I stayed out of their way. The couple of times I answered questions or gave assistance there was no acknowledgement or pleasantries as I've had with other movers. At the end of the move (after the apartment was locked up), Sean needed to go back and get his coffee (which was mostly gone) so i had to unlock the apartment and go back in to get it. Not a big deal, but you'd think it might warrant acknowledgement or a thank-you or something but he again said nothing. Once we got the storage facility, the crew was tasked with pulling most items out and repacking the unit to include the items moved from my apartment. And this is where things got really bad. Once of my drum cymbals was dropped and then a crew member went to pull out some boxes that were packed tightly next to my piano and I asked him to wait on pulling out those boxes because I didn't want my piano to be damaged. That's when Shawn completely flipped out and told me HE was the expert and how dare I tell him how to do his job?!!! I was floored. I definitely won't interfere with movers--I've probably hired movers 15-20 times in my life, I'm no novice--unless I feel my things are being damaged. He went on and on, just hammered me with insults while I was trying to explain that I care about my things and am just trying to make sure nothing gets damaged. But he kept on and again here's some of the things he's said: "Do you think you can do better?" "Do you want to do this yourself? We're HELPING YOU here. Maybe we should just leave." "Would you sit in a dentist chair and then tell HIM how to do his job?" (sarcastically) "I'm getting ready to move X but first maybe I should get YOUR opinion on how this should be done." He also referred to his good reviews and said that no one has ever had a problem with how he does things. Meanwhile he's *slamming* my boxes into the storage unit and continuing to insult me all because his ego couldn't handle a simple (and nicely said) request! I've never experienced anything like it in any business transaction. I would have asked him to leave but that would have put me in a really bad place (I was literally leaving Seattle that day) and he totally knew it and took advantage. Finally I got pretty upset and started throwing barbs back. Yes, actually I would give a dentist feedback if he was HURTING ME. And called him out on his totally DICK-ish behavior. The rest of the crew stayed silent. I wasn't able to get a hold of management right away but the owner Eric called me about 20 minutes later and listened to me (thanks, Eric). He couldn't send another crew but promised he would call the crew lead and apologized to me. Meanwhile, I didn't feel welcome supervising or giving feedback on how my own things were being packed into storage, so I just avoided it altogether. I'm very worried that my things were broken and damaged now, but I won't find out until I get them out of storage. The follow-up with Malcolm (manager) and Eric were positive; I felt they really listened to me, they did what they could to help try to rectify the situation, but they can't take back what was said to me. In retrospect, I can only speculate that Shawn thought he could get away with this bullying behavior because I'm a single female; I know he would NOT have said those things to me I'd had a boyfriend or male friend present. Again, I'm so sorry to have to leave a poor review--I hope I can add a star or two if I find: 1) little to no damage of my things and/or 2) any damages caused by the move are resolved by the company. read more

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS, I WOULD... After trying to decide which (of the many) moving companies to use in Seattle, I decided to go with Can't Stop Moving. The guy who I talked to on the phone was nice and for just a tad more I got three movers instead of two. I thought this would make the move go much faster and smoother. I was dead wrong. It all started with the fact that these guys were three hours late. We got a couple phone calls informing us of this (an hour before they were suppose to be there), but with everything already packed up in boxes, all you can do is sit around and wait. So after three hours of waiting around we get a phone call saying they're sending out one guy to start the job. I thought this would be helpful, at least it might speed up the process before it gets dark out. Nope, this was so they could get the clock started, and then try and charge us from the time that ONE guy got there, then they could also remind us that they're giving us a "deal" because we're only being charged for a three man crew, instead of four. I initially got quoted a three hour job, I would assume if you have an extra guy helping it may take even less than that. I suppose that may be the case if these guys weren't talking on their phones while carrying one pillow up the stairs. My boyfriend had to start moving stuff, just so we could get them out of our house. Somehow this move ended up being a "four hour job" according to the guy who was taking our money, and the owner, who has tried to say this 4 or 5 times now. I don't know where you guys learned your math, but even including the lone guy who got there at 5, 5:00-8:00 is three hours...unless you want to include the extra half hour where we were being accosted by one of the movers. My boyfriend was talking to the owner on the phone, while this guy was yelling at me so loudly, they couldn't even hear each other speak. What was he yelling? "I can't believe you're throwing me under the bus?" I know what the term means, but I would love to know how and why it's being applied in this instance, to a customer. I think I said all of two sentences to this guy the entire time. That guy still works there by the way. Apparently he was fired, and rehired the next day (because he's "a good guy") per the owners, who also told us this wasn't the first time that had happened with him. When did screaming at customers become acceptable? I'm a 5'2 female and this guy was definitely over 6 feet tall. I was frightened and intimated, to say the least. Apparently intimidating people is what this company is all about though, because after my boyfriend posted a review on here, he received a phone call from the owner saying that he saw his review and "if he doesn't call him back by 6 pm, he was going to contact the authorities for ruining his reputation," and then that he "expects a phone call by 6". On top of all of this... They dented our walls They ruined our brand new carpets They broke our stuff This company has been so disappointing. Every interaction we have had with them has only reconfirmed that they do not care about their customers. Considering there are so many moving companies in Seattle, I would highly recommend a different one, any other one. read more

We found Can't stop moving from yelp and chose them because of their high review. However our overall experience wasn't good, especially the packing phase. Originally the quote went fine and the person came in as scheduled, but the actual quote numbers was promised to be sent to us 3 different time after 3 phone calls but finally the fourth promised time it came. What was worst was the packing. Three guys came and the packing was really sloppy, where we saw our stuff was thrown into boxes and our clothes was pretty much jammed and also the whole box broke and dropped to the floor (they wrapped the whole boxes with tape and stuffed it in). Our table wasn't covered with blanket and was scratched, where they did marked off a little bit in their price. We were really happy however with the delivery and the final move from the truck into storage by Dwight. He was fast, careful and professional. read more

WOW, I am SUPER IMPRESSED!!!! If I couldn't say anything more than that, that would be it. First, the professionalism both via email and then when the movers showed up (both introduced themselves, Dwight and I'm soo sorry I can't remember the others name, it's going to drive me crazy... but if I spot you on the street, I'll know who you are). Both were super friendly and it felt like they were old friends happy to help you move (without having to pay for the beer and pizza. Dwight please give your pup extra love for me). Add into that, they were super fast, super helpful (silly cable man screwed something on too tight and I couldn't get it undone) and sorry that they couldn't get my couch into the new place and they tried everything (didn't bother me any, I should probably get a new one anyhow). They even brought it back to my old place so that I can have salvation army pick it up (instead of having it sit in the rain outside). It's such an odd configurement of where the door is at in my new place, it didn't surprise me much. Finally, their prices are amazing and love the cash deal!!! Oh and I forgot... They called and asked if they could show up early. REALLY?? That's unheard of when dealing with such things. Just another bonus in their favor, rather than sitting and waiting... ENDED UP PAYING LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT WE THOUGHT IT WOULD COST! My wife and I hired Can't Stop Moving for our move to West Seattle from Auburn, WA. First, I went to their website and emailed for a quote for which I received a reply on the following business day. Then I called to set an appointment. They were pretty booked up but we found a day and time that worked out perfect. They arrived between 8 and 9am just as requested. Our quote was initially for 3 guys at a rate of $145/hour but most of the job was done by two guys so we were only billed $115/hour. Both very friendly and wasted no time getting my stuff into the truck carefully. A third guy showed up at the destination to help finish up. Our move from a one bedroom apt to a two bedroom apartment took a little over 2 hours. We opted to pay cash to get the 10% discount. We paid a $250 something dollars. We thought it was going to cost more like $600 but these guys worked hard, had great attitudes and paid attention to what they were doing so it ended up being less than half that. Needless to say these guys earned a generous tip and we will be using them again in a year when we move again. Side note: Dwight seemed to be running things for our move and I would like to mention that he did a great job and was very professional. I am requesting him if he's still available when we call again next year. ..and pay CASH if you can. 10% off is a decent savings. read more

The best thing I can say about Can't Stop Moving is they were pretty flexible about working around my hastily prepared move. They were quite accommodating about the fact that I was still deciding what would go with them, and what I would move later, and they did keep up a pretty good hustle throughout. However, they also banged up a couple tables pretty badly. Not surprising, as the moving crew consisted of what appeared to be 3 hung over college kids. But their remedy for obvious and major damage to a $300 piece of furniture was, in order: "are you sure that wasn't already there?", "maybe we could take a couple bucks off the bill", and "you should try this wood putty stuff they have at the hardware store." Not sure what I expected exactly, but it seems like a moving company should either take more care in the first place, or have a more professional answer when they drop the ball. I'm glad I hired them for a small enough move that I didn't have to pay more than the minimum. read more

Let me just say, I went through the process of re-setting my old yelp account, which has all of zero reviews, just to give a five star one for my experience yesterday with John and Adonis from Can't Stop Moving. The scheduling was immediately responsive, with multiple followups as my move in time came closer. The movers then actually texted to ask if they could come a little early... no problem! This was what I would consider a challenging move for a one bedroom. Large couch, which, when the company I bought it from, had it moved in, took them forty five, with three people. Narrow staircase, not very tall. John and Adonis had it out in 20 minutes, I couldn't believe it. And it was incredibly difficult to get up to second floor of my new apartment. No problem, they figured out a way to make it work. I literally could not have done this myself, no matter how many guys I had with me, and they made it easy. They were incredibly courteous, efficient, and never stopped "moving", hustling up and down stairs and just getting it DONE. It was pretty cool to watch them work. I carried along a couple boxes every now and then and it was incredible to me how faster they were able to just get it done. And this was not exactly a cool day, it was 80+ degrees and they were hustling up and down stairs with heavy items like it was a stroll in the park. Everything was done neatly, efficiently, and just as my girlfriend and I asked. Need to re-move something? No problem. They were just plain on top of it. I have a (cruddy) Ikea bed that is probably on its way out, took me FOREVER to move it last go around. Probably took them 25 minutes total to have it totally disassembled and reassembled in my new place, perfect as could be. Anytime you're putting your stuff in someone else's hands, you can't help but be a little nervous, especially when you're paying good money for it... if they are lolly-gagging around or just aren't great at what they're doing, you're pretty much on the hook for it, and you're completely in their hands. But here, John and Adonis couldn't have instilled more confidence in their ability, effort, or manners. It was awesome. Let me make this clear, sometimes, as I stood around with empty hands or whatever, it was hard for me to actually keep up with them, they had so many boxes and everything else in so quick that I had a tough time telling them where to put it, how awesome is that? I thought the price was very reasonable, and and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. Heck, I refuse to hire anyone again, after how great this experience was. My move was not typical in that I was moving 2 partially full houses in different towns into 1 apartment. A second truck was suggested as it would likely be very tight on one truck - and that was a dead-on assessment, the second truck was used, though only partially filled (totally worth the extra hourly cost) as expected. Three movers were sent, and each of them were friendly, courteous, careful with belongings and seemed to enjoy their jobs and working with each other. They were also hard workers and got through all that heavy lifting much quicker than I would have guessed possible. Once at the final destination, they even put a bed back together for me, and had no problems moving furniture 'just so' as arrangement plans changed in my head. The end cost came in under the high end of the estimate, and just barely over the low end - the estimator knew what he was doing in both pricing the job and suggesting a second truck. Their name is to be taken literally. These dudes came and just didn't stop. And nothing broke. Probably because they took care to blanket and tape the things that needed it. Turns out we had way more stuff than they anticipated and therefore took 2 hours longer than estimated. But they felt so bad that they tried to charge us less. We wouldn't have any of it. In sum, these guys are nice, honest, and hardworking. Their rate was $90/h, which seemed very competitive. But you can't put a price on honesty and sincerity, can you? Especially with your stuff. Can't Stop Moving does exactly what their name implies...once they start, they don't stop moving until they finish. I had a great experience with this company from beginning to end. I found them on Yelp and, because of their many positive reviews, messaged them through the app to obtain a quote. They responded within an hour or so with what I consider very reasonable prices ($165/hr for a 3 man crew), and so I set up a time a little over a week later for the move. First big shocker (but a major point in their favor) was that they arrived within their designated window! They introduced themselves and were off. My team was Eric, Johnny & Tom. They were polite and courteous when they had questions or concerns about moving different pieces, and we were on our way to the new place quickly. I was nervous about them not having enough space to park at my new home (it is in a very parking-limited neighborhood in Lower Queen Anne) but Johnny got the truck to fit, no problem. They were able to bring all my things up through the elevator, including my queen size box spring that the apartment manager told me wouldn't fit. In no time at all, my entire apartment was arranged to my specifications. I did receive one bit of unfortunate news at the end of their moving me in: they had misplaced the nuts required to connect my headboard to my bed frame but thought they were at my old place. I was planning on going back anyway, so this didn't bother me all that much. They had everything else set up for the bed, all I had to do was slip the nuts on and tighten them. Eric told me that if I had trouble doing it myself he would be in the office the next day and would have no problem buying them and bringing them over to install at a time that worked for me. If there wasn't a time that would work, he offered to drop of the nuts with the building manager so that I would at least be able to do it myself. While all of that was very kind, I didn't want to make him come back over for something so small! I wasn't able to find them at my old place, but bought them for 48¢ at a hardware store on my way home the next day and easily attached the headboard myself. No problem whatsoever, not even a tiny black mark on their record because of Eric's willingness to make it right. Long story short: if you are looking for movers, look no further. This is the best company you are going to find. Their professionalism is impressive and they really do care about moving your things efficiently, cost effectively, and with a smile on their face. I will 100% be using them for any moves I do in the future and I highly recommend that you do too. read more
