I bought a brand new Jayco Feather Travel in 2025. In the walk thru the control panel that controls the fresh water and black water tanks read empty . They said no problem that they would fix it. Took it back to them three weeks later and they kept it for three weeks. They said there was no problem with it. Took it out camping two weeks after that and the panel still reads empty . Called them back and they said that they couldn't find anything. If it's not acting up when they are checking it then they can't fix it. The panel worked for three weeks then quit working again. I called them back six months later and they told me I was too hard to deal with and, to find someone else to work on it. It's still under Jayco warranty but they aren't interested only in selling. don't come here. dont buy from alex f. I signed contract for 41k for my rv and my loan balance is 45k after two years of paying $500 a month. I tried to call and they said finance is busy so i asked if they can call me back, they said no. they said i gotta call back. So not only do they not try to help figure out the situation, you also get ripped off. I check my statements, it says i bought it for 49k. mind you i have a picture of the contract saying 41k. if ur thinking "why are you saying this now" instead of "thanks for the heads up" theres something wrong with you. i'm not asking for sympathy, im telling you not to come here. I didn't understand what i was seeing and i thought it was all a mistake, i saw my payments never changed. now i gotta figure out how to give this rv back and get it somewhere else. never had an issue paying my monthly bill. it's creepy how the total price grew 8k. and ur telling me that's off interest but the payments are consistently paid. right... read more

He is belittling, will ask to speak to your husband, and then gaslight you!!!! He is absolutely AWFUL!!!! I can't believe he's in management at all!! I've spent less money places and received the kindest customer service, he is the opposite!!! Oh, he'll interrupt you too!! It's especially disheartening when a service department manager of another camping world location corroborates the misdeeds/issues of your complaint in the brand new motorhome owned less than a year, less than half a year for that matter. (I may remove this review, possibly replace it depending on if it is rectified) I want to caution anyone considering Camping World in Colton, CA, especially if you're financing. I walked in with a 763 credit score, which should qualify as Tier 1(They said I was Tier 3) with any reputable lender. During the sales pitch, I was told that best-case financing would be 6.99% APR with a $1,000 down payment -- resulting in a monthly payment of around $153 for 72 months. They also shared a worst-case scenario of 18% APR, with payments around $205/month for the same term. After they ran my credit (with full permission), they came back with what they called a "killer deal" -- claiming this was the best I could get with my credit. What was the offer? 11.99% APR for 144 months, with a $1,499 down payment and a $164/month payment. Total cost? Over $23,000 for a $9,999 camper trailer. That's MORE THAN DOUBLE the price of the RV. When I questioned it, they told me I was somehow Tier 3--which is just blatantly inaccurate for someone with a 763 score. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch. They led with hypotheticals that looked decent, then made the worst-case numbers even worse! Bottom line: Be extremely careful. They push long-term, high-interest loans that benefit them far more than you. Very unethical and just plain WRONG. I strongly recommend shopping around with a credit union or trusted bank before signing anything here. read more

Title: Extremely Disappointed - Defective Trailer and Zero Accountability I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Camping World in Colton, CA. On March 19, 2025, I purchased a 2022 Cameo-Crossroads 5th Wheel trailer that was guaranteed by the sales team--including David Salem--and the service department, led by Ennque Pantoga and GM- Matthew Caswell. to be fully inspected and in working order. On day one of using the trailer, the A/C unit failed did not cool. This isn't a minor issue--especially in a trailer meant for camping. I returned to the dealership expecting this obvious pre-sale defect to be addressed, only to be told that Camping World would not cover the repair. This is unacceptable. It's clear the A/C was defective prior to my purchase, which means either their inspection process is flawed or I was misled. The lack of responsibility not only contradicts the warranty and their verbal assurances, but may also violate California's consumer protection laws. I've submitted a formal complaint and requested either: A full repair or replacement of the A/C unit at no cost to me, OR Full reimbursement if I'm forced to fix it myself. I've asked for a response within 7 business days and hope this is resolved amicably--but I'm prepared to escalate to the California Department of Consumer Affairs, the BBB, and pursue legal options if needed. For all the horror stories I heard about Camping World, I was expecting the worst. I had gone to another "big" dealer and walked the lot and got an idea of what features I was looking for in our first travel trailer for our family. I walked into Camping World on a rainy day to get measurements on a smaller trailer with my tape measure to make sure it would fit the siding parking I had available. Jason walked me to the Genesis Supreme I had in mind, but also suggested I look at the Jayco 174 since it had more of the features I was looking for in a more compact package. The measurements looked like it would work, and the pricing was even better than I had received at the other dealer. A couple back and forths with the sales desk and we settled on a number I loved. Deposit paid, came back a couple days later for the very thorough walkthrough with Jeff, and then into finance for a quick signing. No fuss, no extra sells, just great communication and it was much easier than negotiating on a car. We just had the trailer out for our first trip and everything went well. Stopped by Camping World which was part of the Miracle Mile RV Show this weekend. The Show was nothing like the Pomona Fairgrounds Show we attended a few years back but the many dealers participating in the event did a good job with their presentation. The camping world store is very nice, bright, organized and clean. The display of RVs was quite nice. We met Ezekiel Rodriguez who was very helpful in answering questions on a few rigs we looked at. We have a newer RV and were simply curious about what our next rig may be. Generally RVers upgrade every 5 years so we still have time. We just purchased our first travel trailer from this camping world and I have to say our experience was very pleasant. Cesar was our sales representative and he was very helpful when it came to finding something that fit our needs. He was zero pressure and made the shopping experience relatively relaxed and enjoyable. Pete was another friendly sales associate that helped us and he was informative and knowledgeable when it came to all the different models and brands they offered. Martin was our technician that did our final walkthrough with, he was amazing at explaining everything in great depth to us first timers. Martin Ortiz did an outstanding job during our walkthrough of our Lance 1685 travel trailer. That is where the good ends. Dealing with three warranty issues for over three months. Now we bought in November of 2023. I'm writing this mid March as only two of the simplest items have been addressed and still going round and round with Lance on an improper seal on our entry door. During this outing we experienced some rain and noticed a nice puddle of water on the floor, from under the slide-out. Went up on roof and noticed two areas of the roof were torn and appeared to be an older tear. ( No, I did not hit a tree or any other low hanging thing). Just a note for you . Just because two women walk in with two little kids does it mean they don't have the money to spend. I don't care what they say "go camping" fees and other junk fees like that are illegal. Salesman lied to me about practicality everything. I was told that I legally have to get a weight distributor because it's illegal after 2000lb. It's a lie. 5000lbs or more require that. And also how convenient that their weight distribution hitch is 2000$ when in reality you can buy the same one for 400$. The "go camping" fee where they throw some junk at you and couple 30$ batteries and some magic inspection is 2000$ also. Guys. If your rv aren't inspected and checked you shouldn't sell them. I really hope someone sues them over these practices. Don't waste your time. Take your business elsewhere. As stated before, our experience buying a new travel trailer at Camping World in Colton was great. Once you need warranty and service..that's a whole other story. We have been dealing with the Service Department since the Fall of 2024. All of our repairs needed were warranty repairs, however, we have had nothing but the run around. The Service Manager, Enrique is pretty much impossible to communicate with. We had to physically walk in to the store and ask for him. We dropped our retrailer off in September 2024 for some warranty repairs. Some repairs were completed and some parts were on backorder. When we picked up our trailer, we were told that we would be notified when the parts came in and to then bring the trailer back to finish the repairs. Six month passed by and we had gone on multiple other camping trips and realized there were other repairs needed. We scheduled another appointment and asked about the pending repairs. Apparently, there had been a lot of turnover in the Service department and the "ball was dropped" regarding our pending repairs. We dropped our trailer off once again in April 2025. It literally sat at the Colton store for 1.5 months and was not even touched. Tony was the Service Representative and there was absolutely no communication from him. We had plans to camp for Memorial weekend and we had to keep hounding him to make sure our trailer was ready. Long story short, the bare minimum repairs were made in a rush a day or two before our trip. When we picked up the trailer, they had left the fridge running the entire time it sad there and the batteries were drained. Tony's customer service was horrible and pretty much told us to call later to get the rest of the repairs completed. We called to make another appointment for the remainig repairs. This time Mark Popp who was our original Salesman had transferred to the Service department. He was a completely different person. Bad attitude and horrible customer service. It was the worst experience ever. We will never return to this location or recommend Camping World Colton to anyone. read more
