    Hole in sunroof

Let me start out by saying that everyone at Crest RV were more than nice and easy to work with. Most of our complaints are with the condition of the Cruise America RV. This 19 foot unit should NOT have been rented to us. We have rented RV's for years from other companies, and have never had any issues as this. Probably because this being an older unit with over 114,000 miles on it. The main issue is there is a large fresh water leak in the bathroom that loses water into the grey tank so you have to turn off the water pump after each use. Due to this leak, with a conservative water usage, we were only able to get 1.5 days out of the fresh water tank until we needed to refill. When using city water the leak is so bad that the grey and black water valves need to be left open or toilet will overflow at night (YUCK!). Safety Issues: The Fire Extinguisher was EMPTY (we didn't find out until we were cleaning it for return). Windshield wipers are useless making driving during a surprise storm difficult. We know that camping is not a germ free experience, but come on; the fresh water hose was stored with black water dump hose which is completely unsanitary. The dump hose didn't fit in its compartment and the plastic lock did not work on that door anyway for proper storage. Black mold present in bathroom. The unit needs some kind alignment (wheel or frame) as is unsteady driving. Steering is difficult to keep going straight with a lot of play in the steering wheel. The smoke alarm had been removed. Bathroom issues: Grey water indicator shows 1/3 full even after dumping, black never shows any level at all. There was a hole in the sunroof allowing rain and bugs to get in. We had to put duct tape over it. Annoying Issues: We were given the unit with the L.P. gas turned 'OFF' and told it would take 6-8hrs to cool down. During the walk through we were told that the reason the refrigerator was blinking 'CHECK' is we were not on level ground. After a day, due to zero cooling in refrigerator and many blocks of ice, we had to call Cruise America: The L.P knob is not labeled for open/close, so it wasn't obvious. The stove starters do not work, so we had to buy a lighter. There was dog hair everywhere, even in cabinets & drawers. Extremely heavy in rollup curtains and the upholstery was dirty w/body or animal fluids & spills, not just dog hair. With a picture of a dog on the window I assumed there would be some mess, but this was really excessive. The right speaker hisses making the sound system unusable. The 2 dump handles were not labeled which one was grey or black.

Break light wires dangling, the tape and fishing wire "fixes" clearly didn't work

This shows again there is no supervision and absolutely no quality control whatsoever. We were told that our awning would be a "couple inches shorter" due to the fabric having to be "folded" and sewn. Before paying, i opened awning & realized that the awning was was not "shorter" as stated by Federico. I went up onto the roof and sure enough, Saw that they used duct tape instead of Sewing! Federico stated he was unaware of this but it would last longer? Really?? There is no oversight of work performed on RV's We also paid Nathan to have faucets replaced at kitchen & bath and they only "hand tightened" fittings and now we have water damage inside of our cabinets. I also asked Nathan to fix the latch on my screen door and when I arrived, they were spraying a can of WD-40 into the latch instead of replacing as I was told they were going to do. The WD-40 ran down onto my steps and was tracked in across the floor, No clean up or apologies. Again, No oversight or supervision whatsoever on multiple requested repairs. You can see my other review regarding the wallpaper install disaster that has led me to file a small claims case. They will put you off forever promising repairs and then state that you are "out of warranty" I threatened litigation and they agreed to repair bad wallpaper install to only make it worse by the unqualified "auto mechanics" I asked for my monies to be returned for original wallpaper install that had bubbles throughout and enough wallpaper for replacement As I no longer trust Overland to do any repairs on our coach. Both Federico and Nathan have refused this request and so we will be heading to court. In a nutshell, they installed bad wallpaper that bubbled throughout, they put me off for 2-1/2 years without excuse after excuse, and when I finally threatened litigation, they agreed to repair all areas of concern. unqualified technicians went in and made it worse and caused substantial damages to woodwork and trim. Now they tell me I'm out of warranty. Nope!

Called owner Freddy & son Nate and they said they could strip the vinyl and paint new stripes with my own paint colors. They were very fair priced and said they could get it done in two weeks before a big camping trip. I pulled the trigger and glad I did. They buffed out all the painted surfaces and fiberglass then clear coated the entire motorhome. Turned out FANTASTIC. Freddy even traded my older motorhome for a fair labor trade. First camping trip found a lot of electrical issues and Overland RV took care of those too. Honest and trustworthy family owned business. PS - These bad consignment reviews are a joke. These Karens have obviously never gone through a a consignment sale tied up with banks/loans and legal when selling vehicles. It takes MONTHS. Go to Overland RV, you won't be disappointed.

We first met Dave, the owner, and immediately felt at ease. He was relaxed, personable, and super knowledgeable--he answered all our questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. His salesperson was out that day, so Dave personally showed us the trailer and took the time to go over everything. When we sat down to talk numbers, there was absolutely *zero* pressure to buy. He didn't push us, didn't ask to run our credit, and genuinely encouraged us to take the weekend to think about it. That kind of approach is rare and truly appreciated. We decided to move forward the following Monday and called in to speak with Miguel. The entire process was seamless--we did everything online and over the phone. Miguel was consistently available, responded to texts (even after hours), and answered every single question we had. By the end of the week, we were picking up our new trailer. The walk-through was smooth, and they let us record the whole thing so we could reference it later (which was perfect for us as first-time trailer owners). David, Miguel, and Steven all made sure we were 100% comfortable and prepared before we pulled off the lot. Galaxy Camper feels like a family-oriented shop that genuinely cares about their customers. No gimmicks, no tricks, just fair pricing and honest people who want you to enjoy RV life with your family. We had visited some of the big lots before this and the difference is night and day--at the big places, you feel the pressure the moment you step on the lot. They bombard you with calls and texts and push hard for a same-day deal. Galaxy Camper is *not* like that at all, and that's exactly why we'll be recommending them to everyone we know. Highly, highly recommend!

As with most great companies, it all starts with ownership. So let's meet Todd & Jen, the owners of Rec-Out SoCal, but don't tell them I told you. If you choose to stay here, you'll almost surely meet them and not even know that you're actually dealing with the owners. In regards to the daily operations of this location, they are extremely hands on, and without question, two of the most humble and hospitable people you will ever meet. We refer to them as T.J. because to us, it's evident that they are unified and clearly dedicated to doing whatever's necessary to making your experience a pleasurable one. I've read a review on here where someone had a bad customer service experience at this location. It was quite the opposite for us! I'm not minimizing the interpretation of one's own personal experience but I'll say this. Glamping (glamourous camping) here at Lake Perris Recreation Area is an outdoor adventure, not a Las Vegas luxury resort hotel experience, though it can be much more enjoyable. It really comes down to having realistic expectations and having respect and admiration for the beautiful outdoor environment. As far as we're concerned, we were completely blown away by Rec-Out SoCal's Glamping experience. You'll begin by renting one of the modern, fully-equipped trailers. There are upgrades for your stay such as a charcoal grille or a griddle for cooking meals outdoors, if you don't wish to cook on the stove inside your trailer. There are many other amenities included in the trailer and you'll even have your own private outdoor area with picnic bench, lighted gazebo, hammock, fire pit with camping chairs, an assortment of outdoor games, and a breathtaking, picturesque view of the lake. You'll be briefed on all of these things during the check-in period. I will always recommend this glamping site to anyone who is looking to enjoy the great outdoors, while still having access to modern household amenities. Briefly put, this is where the rugged outdoors and the breathtaking beauty of nature meets unparalleled comfort and convenience. Pair this, along with having the most pleasant, helpful, and courteous staff you can imagine, and you have the formula for one of the greatest outdoor experiences of a lifetime. But this is only where things begin to take shape, as you literally get to tailor your experience to your personal desires. Available for rent, and for very reasonable prices are watercrafts, such as fishing & pontoon boats to potentially steer you to your next trophy bass catch or to cruise the lake and simply enjoy the incredible surrounding views. There are also E-bikes available for rent so you can take a nice, peaceful ride around the entire lake if you choose (roughly a 9 mile loop) or just cruise around the many beach areas, shoreline fishing spots, or many other locations at this amazing site. There's so many good things to be said about this place, the owners, and staff. We'll be heading back just as soon as time allows, as we are very much looking forward to our next glamping experience with Rec-Out SoCal at Lake Perris Recreational Area. See you guys soon!

I would not recommend staying at the glamping sites at Rec-Out SoCal. We stayed for two nights,…read morecheck in was supposed to be at 3:00 p.m Friday but the manager/owner took quite a while because she was helping other guest then proceeded to give us an orientation of RV which took an extra hour. If this is the case they need to make check in time sooner, by the time we were done it was about 4pm. We even left early Sunday because we were so disappointed with our stay. The customer service was extremely poor. No one ever checked in on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. We had to go out of our way just to ask for basic necessities like toilet paper, which should have already been stocked or at least monitored. Online it states that 1 RV is equipped "enough" for up to 8 people, that was not the case. In the RV we rented it was 4 adults and 2 kids, and even then after taking the 3 minute showers that they recommended we were still short on water. The accommodations looked nothing like the videos and pictures they advertise online. The online photos make the glamping sites look clean, spacious, and well-maintained, but the reality was very different. The trailer and surrounding area were dirty, covered in spider webs, even smelled like sewer our entire stay. We even found used coffee grounds from the previous people in the coffee machine. It definitely did not feel clean or properly prepared for guests. Several of the appliances either didn't work properly or were unreliable, making the stay even more frustrating. Fridges inside RV and mini fridge outside weren't cooling enough, lights outside were not working. We also felt very limited when it came to water usage, which wasn't made clear beforehand and made the experience inconvenient. When told to manager/owner all they said was " other places only give you 30 something gallons" One of the biggest disappointments was the complete lack of privacy. People constantly walked through the glamping area, and many even stepped over the ropes that are supposed to separate the campsites just to get to the marina. It felt like there was no respect for guests' space, and management didn't seem to enforce the boundaries at all. For the price, we expected a much better experience. Instead, we felt like we spent the weekend dealing with inconveniences rather than relaxing. The property has potential because the location is beautiful, but it seems poorly maintained and customer service is lacking. Don't let the photos and promotional videos fool you, they set expectations that the actual experience doesn't meet. We left early because we simply didn't enjoy our stay. Save yourself the money and choose another campground or glamping destination. There are much better places where you'll get cleaner accommodations, better service, and far more value for your money. We definitely won't be returning
