Amanda led my to believe she was a sales person, she is not. I had asked her some specific question 2 weeks ago and she said she would get back to me, so far I have been met with sielence. Be careful when you buy. I had a fantastic experience with the Sales team. Both gentlemen were responsive and knowledgeable. I purchased a 37ft Forest River 5th wheeler. After I brought it home, I noticed that the Yamaha sound bar was missing. This is where the fun began. I had to repeatedly call, text to follow-up on getting the device. The sale manager was worthless, said he was there to help but never contacted me unless he was replying to me. Ater 2 months, I finally had to call Forest River myself and talked to them, they said this is easy just have them submit for a replacement I explained it was not so easy. This is where something finally happened because it was sent to Giant RV. Giant RV never contacted me to say it was in, I had to call back to Forest River, and they told me it was and I could go pick it up. My recommendation is to check and double check everything before you leave, don't get caught up in them explaining how to do everything, Google is free and it will save you time and frustration if you find they left a product out. I love my 5th wheeler and I am happy I bought it, but GIANT RV is horrible with follow through after you sign the docs. read more

Burn me once, shame on you; burn me twice, shame on me! The service department at Giant RV Colton sucks! Bought our 2nd bigger unit from Giant Rv Colton 5 1/2 months ago. Sales were amazing! Did a walk through with the service department documenting all of the issues. Left the unit for the fixes they could do on site, they had it almost a month and when we went to pick it up two of the fixes had never been touched even thought they said they fixed them. Broken window shade still broken, hitch still miss aligned! 3 additional issues required minor parts to be ordered, it's now 5 1/2 months later and they just called to tell us the parts are in! Still No Progress - 6 Months Later This is now my third review, and sadly, nothing has changed. It's been six months since we dropped off our RV at Giant RV, and we are still nowhere closer to having it back. We've been repeatedly told "one more week" over and over again from Danny and yet here we are--months later with zero progress. The lack of communication, urgency, and accountability is absolutely unacceptable. Every time we follow up, we get vague promises and excuses. Meanwhile, we continue to lose time and opportunities to use the RV we invested in for enjoyment. It's incredibly frustrating to feel like we're being strung along with no clear timeline or real effort to resolve the situation. I'm beyond disappointed with how this business operates. Their service is inefficient, unreliable, and at this point, feels downright disrespectful to the customer. I would absolutely not recommend Giant RV to anyone. Hello Everyone, My experience dealing with Giant RV in Colton was pretty positive. I did my research on RV's before I bought one so I knew what I was getting myself into to specially being our first RV. The whole process of buying the RV was pretty smooth from viewing, financing and delivery. I did get a chance to go over the RV before I took it home to make sure everything worked. We have since taken it out for our first camping trip to test everything out and everything went good no issues at all, only regret was that I should I got a bigger travel trailer. Just in case your curious we purchased the 2024 Winnebago Access 26BH. One comment I would like to add, if your expecting things to be perfect and your not handy with fixing little things I honestly would not buy one. read more

The service department is a joke. If I could give the sales team and finance team a 5 stars I would. Purchased late September early October of 2024 My experience here was great at first when coming to look at fifth wheel rv's. Sale team and finance were great. We loved the Alliance Paradigm 395ds model and made our purchase. A few small details inside and out of the Rv such as damaged paint on the door and moldings inside the Rv along with a broken screw head on one of the slide outs. We stated we wanted those things fixed prior to us picking the Rv up and was told it would be taken care of. Sure enough that didn't happen. We then picked up the Rv and noticed they weren't after being promised they would. Being aesthetic we were told to bring it back for service to get that repaired anytime. When we got to the site of where the Rv would stay we took a look inside and started to clean. Then noticed the bathroom in the back was used and what seemed to be someone's throw up or #2 was partially left in there. So much for cleaning the Rv before you pickup.. Fast forward to setting the trailer up at our site, we noticed 4 water leaks.. 2 months in. Those were our main concerns along side 10+ other issues. Fast forward to February 1st when we decided to bring it in for the concerns mentioned. We dropped it off and they had it for a month and a half. They claimed to fix all the concerns and were not able to duplicate some and 1 of the leaks even though we have multiple videos of it actively leaking. Upon picking up I was reassured that all the concerns for the exception of those with parts not in stock were fixed. Aside of that the outside paint of the coach on the slide out was damaged while they repaired it, and the inside of the Rv filthy. Now (03/22/25) exactly a week from when I picked it up (03/15/25) we are back to square one trying to get the Rv BACK INTO the service department for the same MAIN Concern of why it was dropped of to begin with. I drove to Giant RV in Colton before they close at 5pm on Saturday as I was informed over the phone not being advise that they do not take service drop off past 1pm without appointments. I pulled into the drive 10 minutes before closing and was not greeted upon walking in by any one of the 3-5 people in there. The woman (Laura) who was the first to respond to my request of dropping off my Rv was with a "Nope, can't take it in and won't take it in." We are closing at 5 and we are ready to leave.... After trying to get her to understand the situation of being it back just 5 days after it was "repair" by them she then kept speaking very rudely with no manners or customer service etiquette, and no drive to help the customer out. She was rather more focused on her clocking out and leaving for the day. I then proceeded to ask if there was anyone else that I could speak to for some help. Then she mentioned somebody's name and said he would be right out. I could then hear Jerry I believe his name is on the phone with his boss, which is Tom the service manager. The manager's response over the phone was absolutely not and that I would have to take the RV back and there's nothing he could do for me. Given the situation, explain the situation to the service manager. There is no change in action no willingness to help and was just brushed off by the servicing, which had no authority over what their manager said. Overall, this dealership or even chain of RV dealerships do not care about you as a customer after you make their purchase with them. It has been an absolute nightmare, trying to deal with these people and would not recommend any friend or family or anybody that can read this to purchase an RV from Giant Rv specifically Colton for the simple reason that there is no help towards the customer or any customer service in general. Just wanted to say thank you so much for everything! Mainly this review is for Devan. If it wasn't for Devan, none of this would be possible, and we wouldn't be getting the trailer we wanted. This is our very first travel trailer. My wife and I have been tent camping and backpacking for 2 decades. Finally last year my wife said, "I'm ready for an upgrade", and I agreed. It took us 6 months to find exactly what we were looking for, and it was just coming into the camping season. NO one was willing to accommodate us to keep us within our budget. We own a small independent motorcycle service/ repair shop in Santa Rosa, CA. My wife handles all the logistics and the consignment sales. She is no stranger to this industry. Devan was a true gentleman. Thank you sir for making our dream come true and treating my wife with respect. We do a LOT of off grid camping and the Sun Lite Sport is exactly what we were looking for. I will not purchase from Giant RV in Colton. Here's why, my family and I arrived in the afternoon to take a look at the inventory at this location. We were undecided on what type of rig we wanted, which was the reason for our trip. We wanted to take a look at various options in person to be able to better judge, size and layout. At first, it seemed like our sales person wanted to help us. We answered a few questions and started to view some of the inventory. Not too long into the process, he became what I consider too pushy and it was a huge turn off. I believe it was around the time he showed us three units that had similar floorplans with different color schemes when I asked him if they had other floor plans. He said they have a lot of floorplans and asked me if I was purchasing today, because if not, it was a waste of time. Once he said that I was completely turned off and knew that I would not be purchasing from him or from Giant RV. I'm not sure if that's just his personality or if he in fact, was being rude towards us, but either way I didn't like it. Prior to this exchange, I specifically asked him questions about repair time frames should something go wrong. I think he was surprised by my question, so I felt the need to clarify. I asked him if we would be looking at days, weeks, or months for repairs. He said if we purchase new from them The unit would be under warranty and they would give those repairs priority so it wouldn't be months. He said if we did not purchase a unit from giant RV and just brought it in for repairs, we were the lower priority, but it still wouldn't be months. That statement contradicted what I've seen on reviews so he lost my trust by essentially telling me what he thought I wanted to hear instead of the actual truth. This made me believe he was not trustworthy. What he didn't know was that my family and I were taking time out of our schedule so that we could identify the best unit for us and for additional family members. His attitude combined with the lack of rapport was what ultimately led to us walking out and deciding that we would not be purchasing from him or this company. read more

I wish I would have read these reviews before going to this place. We purchased a 2020 forest river toy hauler, first time out things started falling apart, back splash, framing, moldings, plug outlets, the list goes on. I know giant RV doesn't personally build these Rv s BUT they do the servicing and WE paid for the warranty, that being said it's a complete shit show trying to get them to fix anything, first time we took it in they had it for a month and very little got fixed, the second time we dropped it off, they gave us a quote of $10,485 to fix a water leak, parts were $205, $10,280 was LABOR. Are you serious. What kind of crook shit is that. They wanted us to go through our insurance so they could get the pay day cause of course they blamed us for the water damage and it's not "covered" under warranty. In July 2020 we purchased our first travel trailer, a brand new 2021 forest evo. After two trips out close to home we noticed a leak from the freshwater dump valve. It took me 3 weeks of me calling to get an appointment. I kept getting the "I'll give them a message and someone will call you back." Then the shop "manager" said they never got a message. Jan 12, 2021, we drop it off explain what we see. Almost 2 months later after several text's & phone calls of us telling them repeatedly what the issue was were asked to pick it up, because they couldn't duplicate the leak. March 2, 2021 My husband picks up the trailer, sure enough as he's backing it into our driveway I immediately see it leaking! Absolutely pissed we sent a video and called talked to a guy named Jerry. That following Saturday we took it back. Talked with a lady (forgot her name) but very nice. Today March 16, 2021 we picked up the trailer all looks good, no leak so far at least. I decide to go into the trailer. They took apart the bottom bunk which was to be expected to get to the water tank, but they did not put anything back together. Hubby and I dropped into the sales Dept after ordering some parts for our 2015 C-Class RV. We were assigned a salesman who showed us inside the toy haulers they had in stock. We were interested in a possible trade in using our rv; but every 2021 was around $95k. But we also needed to get a truck with fifth wheel hitch. It was a lot to consider. The salesman said as long as the condition/mileage matched what we said, he'd give us $30k for the RV. The quick payment estimate before running a credit report was $600 a month. We thought let's go for it. The sales manager came back with a payment of $800 because they were only going to give us $20k trade-in. The salesman bold face lied to us on several issues related to the credit pull and trade-in price (even the sales manager asked the salesman why he said those things!). I was very angry and let both of them know that. When we are ready to purchase, we won't be coming back to this dealership. I did not expect to be lied to; not a good way to train your employees. Response to owner message: Stating that credit procedures have changed with COVID is a cop out. We told the salesman that we had paid off all our credit card debt a few weeks ago but it was not yet showing up and that my hubby's score wasn't where it needed to be to get a great rate. Your salesman said that Giant RVs credit department would verify that these had been paid off: BOLD FACED LIE THAT CAUSED A HARD PULL ON OUR CREDIT FOR A RATE THAT WE WERE NOT HAPPY WITH!!! This was not a misunderstanding, it was a desperate attempt by the salesperson to get a sale! Our RV, which is in great condition, and has 35k miles less than I thought, was dismissed as junk and we were told it would go to auction by a sales-manager. Be very careful when you walk on this lot. These guys are like 1970's used car salesman. They hear very little of what you are saying and push very hard for you to buy a trailer even if you are just exploring your options. In a single visit to this place I spoke with 3 different people that were trying to hard ball close me. I do not like that sort of sales pressure by any means. With that type of sales people at this location I will be glad to take my business else where even if it is a few bucks more or maybe not the exact rig that want. I will go where the people you deal with are listening to what I am there for. I do find it a bit funny how many of the bad review on here do not get addressed at all. In repsponse to GRV's reply: I mean, if you guys (Giant RV) are ok with selling used units that fail after a mere 30 miles driven off of your lot, than I guess that says more about your business practices than you think. If RV's are "characters", than maybe basic maintenance, rather than just an oil change, is needed before you sell them. Or perhaps offer a 90 day warranty on used units so that this kind of stuff is avoided. You'd think for something that you're selling for over $80k, you would do right by your customers by performing the basics beforehand. "AS-IS" is fine and all, but the false advertisement that it is thoroughly looked through before sale, is bs. Your own service tech/manager said that was false and that they ONLY CHANGE THE OIL; but again, I digress... Also, there was a breach of contract regarding the A/C being fixed before the unit was to be picked up. I reached out to our assigned Giant RV operations specialist Kenny via the phone for help. He patiently re-walked me through the black, grey tank dumping and non-potable water procedures over the phone. This was a very uncomfortable situation and something I did NOT want to mess up but his knowledge and clarity helped me this very uncomfortable process, one done with confident and ease. DON'T deal with Giant RV Colton this has been by far the worst experience ever! We bought a new trailer spent a lot of money. After owning it had to go back to service. Service department said we would have priority since we recently purchased it. Well priority turned into 7 weeks. We finally took it out in February and had a list of things to fix. Its going on 60 DAYS!!! and they still not fixed it. The service department is a joke they wont reach out to you unless you call them and good luck getting through. I had to get the manufacturer involved to fix my trailer because these guys can't get their act together. Until I lit a fire at the dealer is when they started working on my trailer. 60 days to wait for door latches? really? pathetic. We purchased a forest river travel trailer. And we've had nothing but problems with it. And it was brand new, we've had to take it in three times. We thought if you buy brand new. You shouldn't have as many issues as we did. We took it camping twice and had nothing but problems. We tried to work with the manufacturer to get a return to get our money back and they refused. Make sure you get a Due Bill for everything before you pay anything or sign anything. They will say anything and promise the moon to get you to sign and pay. Then everything changes after. During the walk thru, we found a bunch of things. I was promised a due bill which would have everything. However, after the sale, I am now reliant on the approval of warranty repairs. And any repairs not covered by the warranty I have to pay for out of pocket. Crazy thing is that a lot of the stuff was noticed before the sale and was promised to be put on the due bill and fixed. They just said that to make the sale. I tried to return it because of the issues, but I had no luck. I tried to get a due bill, and again, now the answer is no. I had to sign a paper saying I would cover all parts and labor not covered by warranty. I feel sick over it. I was totally tricked. They still have the trailer and theyvsaid they would try really hard to get the warranty to cover as much as possible on my brand new 2025 rig, even though they saw the issues before I even signed anything. They even tried to make it my fault, saying I rushed them. They were asking me for over a week to finalize and buy it, saying it was ready for sale. Then they said they needed time to lean it up, which I waited 6 hours for. Then they said they were having a sale and didn't have time to deal with it. I can't even imagine how much trouble I'd have if I'd I completed the sale completely over the phone and pay for it that way as they requested. You'd think that after you buy it you can use it. But you buy it, then take it to service for warranty repairs, and then hopefully those are approved, and if bot you pay for the repairs, then you can have it. You'd think you can buy it and then have it and get repairs after you've at least used it once. read more

After doing my research on travel trailers for quite a while, my husband and I finally decided on the one we wanted. We visited several RV dealerships but none of them carried what we were looking for and then we happened to stop at Giant RV of Colton. What a difference! The staff in the office were very friendly and accommodating. When we told the receptionist what we were looking for she said, "I know just the right person to help you" and introduced us to Robert. Robert definitely knows everything there is to know about RVs and then some! He knew exactly what we were looking for, answered all our questions and even drove us in his golf cart to where the trailers were parked so we didn't have to walk. Robert made us feel so comfortable it was like we had known him for years. At no time did my husband and I ever feel pressured to make a purchase of any kind. Robert took his time with us, showed us several models and which one he thought would best suit our needs. We finally made our decision and, with Robert's expertise, decided on making a purchase that very same day. Once our purchase was finalized, we were introduced to Steven, another one who definitely knows what he is talking about. He walked us through the trailer and showed us everything we needed to know, made sure we completely understood and answered all our questions. I went there today with the Mrs to look and some motorhomes. Albert was passed on to us by Gary after he showed us a few motor homes. Im not sure why he did that since he was the first sales guys to jump up and try to show us around. Albert was even worst. He didn't seem too interested in showing us any motrohomes we liked. Instead he was trying to play finance manager and ask me if I had 150k down payment for a 190k motor home without doing any credit check or applying. Buyer beware of shady salesman. Albert seems to be one of them. He is condescending, rude and unprofessional. I give credit to Kent who came and try alleviate the situation I had with that guy but it was already to the point of no return. He had already offended me with his outrageous down payment request like he's aproving me for my loan. What a jerk? Show me what I want to see. Dummy. I was not gonna leave without giving him a taste of his medicine before we left. I gave him a mouthful, which wasn't the best of me, but it felt good to get back a person like that. We had a power surge incur in our motorhome overnight. Because it was so windy in Riverside, SCE turned off the RV resort power when we were asleep. When they turned it back on at 2:30am, it caused a power surge and we lost all power in the motorhome. We packed up the motorhome and went to Giant RV. Laura immediately helped us as we explained our situation and needed the motorhome since we were traveling from AZ to Orange County, where my dad was in the hospital. Laura got Kyle one of the mechanics, right away and Kyle immediately started to troubleshoot the problem. Kyle found that the surge breaker failed and found three breakers that were fried. Buying a trailer was not only a big move but definitely scary. We first went to to Giant RV in Montclair and honestly they were great. Jake is an awesome salesman and certainly deserves your sale. We had a budget and unfortunately there really wasn't anything for us. Second stop, Family RV and let me tell you they are great but again could not find anything in our budget.We also stopped by Mike Thompson RV now that was a complete waste of time Nothing good about them. Now, Giant RV Colton..., Jordon was our salesman and he was always considerate to our budget and showed us a 2017 Sunset Trail that had just arrived at the lot. There was a little communication problem at one point but let me tell you these guys turned it around and made us beyond happy. Rodney Guetti, you were truly the reason we didn't walk away. Your lighthearted humor, and willingness to let us vent made the deal that much more easier. Monica he is a great guy. Reuben Ramirez gave us our walk through and made sure we understood how all the bells and whistles worked. As a few things were being looked at on the trailer we walked to the store across the parking lot to make use of the generous gift card they gave us, Chuck was nice enough to assist us with the items we needed. Was a really nice experience here at Giant RV. We walked in just too LOOK & Miguel grabbed us & asked what we were looking for & he showed us exactly what we wanted. So needless too say we walked out with our FIRST Toy Hauler. The Manager was awesome & helpful! Even CC in Finance was absolutely incredible & so sweet! & the fact that Ruben explained in detail on everything on the trailer just to make sure we were good before we left.
