    My husband and I went to Mike Thompson after shopping around at multiple RV dealers in the area (Family RV, Giant RV and Camping World to name a few). As soon as we arrived on the lot we were greeted kindly by Daron. Like I said we have been shopping around for awhile and after tons of research we knew that we wanted to check out Grand Design. Mike Thompson RV is the only dealer in the area that sells them new and because we were debating between new and used we knew we had to check them out. Daron took us to all of the campers we wanted to check out. We ended up checking out 6 campers while there and Daron was so patient with us! He really went above and beyond!! The best example of this is when I wanted to standout on the deck from the camper; he went and grabbed a battery; hooked the camper up and showed us all the gadgets. We were sold not only with the camper but with him. The negotiating is usually the worst part; this time it was a breeze! We settled on a great purchase price and our trade in value was reasonable. I totally forgot the name of the sales manager but he was wonderful!!! Daron took us back to our new camper and we got to explore it more while he went and tied up the loose ends. He got us over to finance where we chatted with Michael and that experience was less then 10 minutes!! Everyone we spoke with felt up front and honest. I have nothing negative to say about our experience and highly recommend Mike Thompson RV. If you are looking for a trailer please reach out to Daron! He was a pleasure to work with and we will use him again for all of our future RV needs!

    Don't even know where to start with this. It's sad that I have to post this and say bad things about Mike Thompsons RV. When we started our Journey with sales it was great and we found our dream Motorhome. Had a few promises on our due bill that needed to get fixed. So this is when the fun starts. We Bring our motorhome in for service that was promised during the sale. Then we get a Rep Name Josh Musgrave, and I hate to call people out but we have no choice. We started out with telling him what was promised to us in our due bill which we have in writing. Takes our motorhome back and sits for over a month and mind you this is the second time it's been here for the same issue. So back to Josh, who lacks communication skills and has no clue as to whats going on with our RV. Does not return phone calls nor emails (maybe a couple a week or two later) and that's after we have to tell someone in his department that we have not heard from him. When we do hear back from him it's like a broken record explaining ourselves over and over again with our motorhome still sitting at Mike Thompsons RV. So now Josh, wants to try and push these promise repairs through warranty when this was promised through sales and is on our due bill shows proof of it. This caused more of an issue of delay when we kept on telling him it does not need to go through warranty. We informed him to get this done and stop the delay of things but he insisted that he's waiting for warranty's authorization. Not sure why he's waiting (when this was promised) After having to cancel a trip that was planned cause of his delay. So we informed (Josh) that we need our motorhome before 2/3/2025 cause we were not gonna cancel another trip. So we pick it up on 2/1/2025 at 9 am which he was aware of. We arrive and see it just parked there, my husband goes into the service department and speaks to the cashier clerk and informs us that we owe almost $700 dollars so they can order the parts, which was on our due bill and promised to fix. Which is a side mirror that the camera does not turn on, and a seat belt on drivers side that does not work properly. My husband's says no I'm not paying that cause this was promised. The cashier clerk kept on insisting cause Josh had no notes in the system for his fellow coworkers. Thank goodness someone spoke up and said if we are required to fix it will take care of it. (Thank goodness) So we got to our motorhome thinking it's good to go and will need to make another trip down here once they get the parts we need, which should of been done the first time. Walk into our coach and screws all on the dashboard, center console is hanging out no care in the world to these people. No one inspected it or if someone knew we were picking it up common sense would thought I need to put this back together or maybe if Josh, would have made notes we were picking it up. I hate to be this person that's gotta complain but this is ridiculous. And I know this happens a lot to people that need work done on their coach, trailers, 5th wheels, makes no sense as to why it needs to sit for so long (asking for damages to occur to your expensive outdoor recreation equipment) I would like to Thank Frank, in the service department for showing some concern and getting a service tech David, to put the dashboard back together. Frank also filmed the nonsense before it was fixed. So maybe before you leave your Rigs ask as many questions as possible and hopefully you get someone with more information and communication skills and common courtesy to get back to the customer at a reasonable timeframe. Just an upset customer. Hopefully they get better for customers in the future.

    This is the place to purchase a Class A motor home in Southern California that has an excellent inventory and the Manager, Doug has an awesome staff. Rick, was my sales representative that had an a very vast knowledge regarding RV's that was very helpful for my wife and I making the decision on the perfect coach for our family needs. We love our new Motor Home. Last but not least I would like to add a special thanks to Curtis in Finance that made it happen. Thank you all for making it so easy purchasing our new Motor Home!

    Best RV experience we have had When other dealers wanted to waste our time they did not We told them what we needed and they worked hard to make it happen for us Big shout out to Amy Steve Curtis and Doug we appreciate you all and we will be back for our next RV !     Don't ever buy from Mike Thompson!!!!!! The worst in every way.... We got a LEMON and absolutely no help from them !! Please be careful!!!

    I bought a 2003 Tahoe toy hauler that turned out to be a money pit. However, because I had already…read morespent so much on it. I decided to spend just as much to fix it. Unfortunately, I had to take it back over five times to fix the same things. Not to mention the damage created by the things not being fixed properly. The first time was not repaired properly. Overall, they did try and rectify most of the concerns, and they are definitely more reliable than the last place I used. So CAL RV repair in Temecula. Horrible!

    Richardsons Fix the way do business…read more I bought a used 2018 TT & an extended warranty from Richardsons in late 2021 took it out for the 1st trip 3 months later. Toilet flushed once then water pressure to toilet was gone. I take my Trailer in for the issue toilet won't fill properly due to low water pressure to toilet only. Kitchen, restroom sinks and shower all have good water pressure. I explain how I feel it might be the toilet valve to Guy A as he takes trailer information from me. 1 week later I get a call from Guy A saying I need a new toilet that run $700 and the warranty don't cover it. I lose my cool explain how it's BS. I just got the trailer from them, I asked don't you guys check the trailers before you sell them some kind of point inspection. The toilet worked for 1 fill then pressure was lost. He apologizes and says he understands I should had been able to use it more... I feel bad so I go into the office apologize to Guy A for losing my cool I understand it's not his fault. He seems to accept my apology so I ask him to help me understand the issues. I ask various questions when Guy B jumps in and says there's build up, could be from city or camp site having poor water and or hard water. I explain I understand, but that build up normally don't happen from 1 fish to the other it takes time. Mean while Guy A went back to speak with the service tech and confirmed that water is flowing to the toilet but then there's build up. I say thank you and say I'm not paying for a toilet. They explain how I'm gonna have to pay $175 for the time spent. I tell them I can't take trailer yet cuz I'm in my car. I return an 45min later with warranty in hand to show that warranty states it covers valves and fittings which I felt is where the issue is. Guy A is on the phone so I'm standing there waiting Guy B asks what I have, I say my warranty showing valves are covered did you guys check the valve? He then replied with yes there is blockage warranty won't cover blockage you need a new toilet if you want it fixed. Guy A gets off the phone and says they were going to let me take my trailer with no charge cuz I didn't sign that section of the paperwork. I say thanks can I pick it up tomorrow. I pick up trailer the next day take it home and in 20 min I have the toilet removed and bypassed the valve and toilet works fine. What really gets me is that there was no attempt to fix my toilet just sell me a new one. Not even a $175 per hour charge and a $30 valve was offered just a $700 new toilet. I really hope that Richardsons as a company can fix how they do business cuz I'm only 2 min away and hope that when I run into a problem outta my capabilities they don't try and take advantage of me again. I spoke with Brad I believe. He was helpful in getting me info. Not sure who serviced the toilet or who told him I needed a new one. Not sure who the guy sitting next to him that said if I wanted it fixed I needed a new toilet was ether. Toilet is working fine now that I fixed it myself so no matter what they say I didn't need a new one.
