Chuck, initial sales promised multiple items to repair and upgrade. For months we texted and called Herman to find out the status of repairs. I would occasionally get ahold of Herman & he would promise text into a of updates. Herman stated he was short staffed and was unable to get the items repaired due to staffing but they were "working on it". My texts were often ignored. He did not send photos or videos as promised during these months. From Dec 2020 to Oct 2022 we had very little Communication as to what was happening with the rig. During this time we relocated about 4-5 hours away from their location so it was of significant hardship to just "drive on over". Finally Herman stated that the RV was done around end of September after repeated unanswered messages. Luckily the day he said the date that the rig was "available" I happened to have employees in the area to pick it up. I offered this as a quick solution since they had taken since dec 2020 to work on this Fifth wheel. Herman stated that the employees would have to come with cash, they were closing too soon to when they would arrive, and he couldn't gale payments on phone or business card. He proceeded then to change the terms and state they only take cash and I needed to either send employees with cash or be there in person with cash. Taking a day off with a helper for a several hours day was a slight task. Halfway through the following weeks Herman calls and states if I don't pick up AsAP he will charge $75 a day storage fees. Of course, this is absurd as they have held the RV hostage for 22 months now, and suddenly they are "rapidly done" and need this $$$$ and picked up with SWIFTNESS? Okaaaaay. So, we get a day together, give Herman a weeks notice, (he promises it will be washed and ready) make the drive annnnd lo and behold.. Repairs are NOT done. Herman stated he admits he didn't do a walkthrough prior to having me drive down. Not only are the punch list items not completed, there is new damage due to them leaving the RV sitting in the sun for almost two years. We get a punch list for repairs he should have done, damages he will repair, and fixes. He also tries to tell me they "changed the counters" out? When they clearly just sanded and lacquered the original counters. I went back through my Phone and it's the same counter, just lacquered. Sink isn't sealed and lacquer was painted over the edges so obviously they did not cut a new counter and drop a sink in. We almost leave him To the repairs, but on second thought and reviewing their online reports we decide we will just take it home and get repairs done at another place. So... This escalated quickly because they now come back and argue they will hold the RV and lien the vehcile if we don't pay the invoice ... for repairs that weren't done? Herman then brings in Chuck, his wife, some Kid, an enter life who call my repair issues "piddly", and that I'm full of poop because the tires are "new" even though they are 2019 tires and have been sitting in the sun for two years. Herman got extremely shady and started backpedaling on the "punch list" as being a "free" doing me a favor list, although they are damages from their shirt staff and repairs that weren't completed). My wife states she will be writing a review and they say, we will just sue you for defamation of character, so good luck. I'll be waiting for that lawsuit. Meanwhile my driver is asked to leave because he's calling bullshit; so they call PD. Mind you, the officer states "he can't get involved in civil matters"; however, we are absolutely correct. Services were not rendered. They are holding property hostage for payment for services and repairs not completed. I am now hours into this, have been up since 3am to get the rig and back to home at a decent hour. Kids are melting down with my wife extremely upset. Under duress I have to pay them for more than is even should be right, so they will let me take the Fifth wheel at all. So we finally "settle" (not); and Herman then won't release the fifth wheel unless I sign a "release of liability" releasing them of all Claims. Like what?? Lol. Chuck. Good ol' chuck. Chimes in its "an automotive law". that states if there are disputes you release liability. What. So i call a dealership and they've never heard of that "law". I ask chuck if he can look up the law and he just shakes his head. *NO! Lol. Ok chuck. So, in order to get the fifth wheel I have to pay you for repairs you didn't do (thousands and thousands and thousands ), and sign this liability waiver under duress or you threaten to lien my RV and sell it ... Forgot to mention the "repairs" (tires and suspension and a terrible caulk job) are warrantied for ... THIRTY DAYS!! Hopefully a wheel doesn't fall off after 30, but if not we can just hike on back 8 hours round trip and hope they will honor the repair ... Not. read more

We've been to Foothill RV Center multiple times, and have always had a great experience! Chuck, German, and the crew are absolutely amazing! Chuck always spends time explaining the bells and whistles, and we always walk out feeling more informed. As a former Forest River employee, Chuck knows all the odds and ends of our Georgetown motorhome. He's so knowledgeable that when we travel from our home in Northern Washington, we make it a point to go see him in Southern California for anything that is needed for the rig. We've been doing business with them for years now, and have never been disappointed! In fact, I'd say that they have become great friends/family to my boyfriend and I. No. No. No. The worst decision ever!! Crooks, thieves and hacks. Do not bring you RV here ever. They said they completed work that was not done. The work they did do was terrible and unfinished. And they lied about parts they had and where supposed to order and never did even after 6 months; called multiple times. They also have a pest control problem which infested my RV. They provided no write list of work to be performed and nothing itemized; no details at all and when I questioned and requested, they tried to intimidate me and suddenly required collateral, & then stole silver bars, used as collateral! didn't finish multiple repairs and failed to install parts that I previously paid for. Took to court and Germain A. (O) owner lied and I wasn't granted continuance to properly present case, but have pile of evidence (278 pics) and def would have won case without question. They should pay me $3600 for work I had to have done elsewhere and $1200 for work they charged for and didn't compete and compensate for trip delays and additional lodging expenses; and return my silver they stole. Came in to have the shop order a new set of propane hoses. They were fast to order a part and faster to take my money. After being told I'd get a call once parts arrived I ended up calling. Once I received the parts they were the wrong size. Once I was finally able to get ahold of them, it seemed they were trying to give me the run around. I came in to resolve the problem but I was simply trying to be bought off with a smaller regulator and smaller hoses. Not sure if it matters or not but after waiting 40 minutes with my daughter I decided to push for the refund. The refund took about 20 minutes. THIS PEOPLE AT THIS SHOP ARE DISHONEST AT BEST! I'd advise my worst enemy to stay far away from a shop like this. Chuck and Mike come across as no more than used car salesman. They will use the cheapest materials they can find to maximize their profit. They don't care if it leaks or fails a week later, they have their money. The workmanship is horrible. It's all about getting you in and out as quickly as possible. Most of what they did on my rv was wasn't done correctly. They take and recycle old parts that they have in their shop even though the insurance companies pay them for new parts. It should have been a simple fix for my rv if they would have just been honest and done the right thing. I never asked for anything more than for my rv to be fixed the correct way with the correct parts, but even that seems to be impossible to get from these people. Now a year and half later I'm still fighting to get my rv fixed correctly. I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF DOING BUSINESS WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS! read more

As a new RV owner I needed a quick overview and class about being a motorhome owner, one of my friends recommended this place and said they do a very detailed walk through of everything in which they did for $400 for 2 hours of their time. I was told they would wave that if I requested some services from them and went ahead and picked out a residential refrigerator for a total cost of $1800, take in consideration I went there to learn about RV's and had no idea nor did they have a catalog of what I was getting, on the day of pickup I showed up to see a Home Depot 5' hotpoint refrigerator that costs $300 and told German (the owner) I was not about to pay $1800 for a $300 refrigerator. I was threatened with a Lien being placed on my Motorhome and the owner was very rude at this time. The rest of the guys attempted to de-escalate the situation and were understanding of my opinions but the owner was not having it. I paid the initial walkthrough class given by them and can say I would not go back due to the owners demeanor and treatment of its customers. All this would have been fixed by simply having a products catalog of what they are selling and not surprising their customers with cheap Home Depot refrigerators and/or products. read more

By far the worst service I have ever had in my life. Not to mention a complete scam. I took my 5th wheel here in Dec. of 2020 for some repairs and upgrades. I was told these were minor and simple things and they could absolutely do them promptly. Weeks turn into months, then years! I call constantly and I am always given the run around as to why it is not ready. Now let's remember these are minor repairs. They say I cannot pick it up as it is not done. I wait 22 months while staying in communication and consistently being told it will be done soon. 22 months later I get a call that the trailer is ready and I have 24 hours to pick it u before they start charging me rent. I have moved out of the state since I dropped it off almost 2 years ago and they were aware of this. I obviously need more than 24 hours to arrange. He threatens me and tells me if I don't pick it up in 3 days he will charge me or sell it. I change my entire life around to go get it. I am told it will be ready to go and bring cash. I arrive and the owner notices upon doing the walk through that none of the work was actually done. He says that he did not do a walk through before having me drive 4+ hours and he was not aware all of these things never got done. I am in shock when I see the condition of my trailer as well. It is beyond disgusting what they let happen to it in their care. It has a ton of new damage. He says he will fix every thing and I am to give him $4000 cash now. I give it to him and go to lunch. At lunch I decide I am just going to take it even though they didn't do any of the work that I now paid for and that I will fix the new damage else where and take the loss. I come back and let the owner know my decision. He says he will not give me the Rv. He says he will sell it. He threatens me and tells me that if I give him $1000 more dollars cash he will let me take it. I call my attorney and we basically decide that I should take the additional $1000 loss and call it a day. I give the owner the additional $1000. I expect he will be walking me to the RV after because I gave him exactly what he wanted when he did zero work. He then says he will not give it to me. He will only give it to me if I sign something saying he did all of the work and I was given a discount. What! Again, I am forced with do what he says or he doesn't allow me to have my property and says if I leave he will sell it. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, not even my Ex Sister in Law and that's saying a lot. It has cost us thousands of dollars and I have been told by another company already it will be thousands more to fix. read more

Foothill RV Center is the beauty shop for your RV. I have a vintage trailer that was in need of a paint job and I wanted someone to handle her with care. Herman was recommended to me by my insurance agent and I couldn't find anything on Google or Yelp to see what others thought. So we went for a visit and met Herman. A very nice guy, Herman showed us around and we saw his crew working on some huge movie industry rigs that he was building custom on semi bones, amazing. Once we started talking details I knew that he could do the job, he worked with us to make decisions along the way and we were very happy with our beautiful tin can. The location is a little odd to find, no good signage but they operate out of the Toy Locker space. Just give Herman a call. He does mostly big 5th wheels but can certainly handle a vintage with care. I think they were just as excited as we were. Custom paint and repair, really well done designs by hand were impressive. It's an easy stop off the 10 frwy if you just bashed in your rig and you want her fixed up for the next trip. They repaired it and it look terrific. This is a big shop to get your big rig into. We have a 40' RV and they can get into the shop so it will be safe and secure. I took my motorhome in Foothill RV to get a quote for new flooring. Chuck told me that they have done many floors and was working on one now. I ask about the removal of the title, Chuck said they would not have to remove the floor they can adjust the rollers. What he did not says is that they would cut (jagged) 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the cabinet and pull away the face of the cabinets. I took pictures and sent them to Chuck and he sent out Herman out to our house try to repair. After seeing the damage, Herman's words were sorry that we messed-up and we will be fixing it. I had to bring the motorhome back to the shop have it fixed. I made a list of issues that needed to be corrected and while it was there, I had them additionally repair the fiberglass in the back. When I went to pick it up, only the back had been repaired, none of the damage that they did. That's when Herman stood in front of Chuck and told him this was done somewhere else and he did not tell me anything. I could not believe the lies Herman just told. Then Chuck went along with it and said that Tiffin shipped the motorhome that way. They refaced the bottom of the cabinet, but when sitting on the couches you can see outside from under the cabinets which also lets in cold air and wind. Now I have to go to another company fix the mess that Foothill RV as done. Chuck's parting words to me was that if they did it right the first time, I would not have a reason to come back. Well if they did it right or even fixed the damage they did, I would have a reason to give them all my business. But I cannot recommend this company to anyone and if you do go please take pictures of everything in your motorhome. This by far is the worst company I have dealt with in all my 20 years of RVing. My wife's brother recommended Foothill RV to us after he had some work done on his RV. We started with having solar installed and due to them doing such a great job we had numerous other things done! German (owner) is the nicest man you will ever meet--he stands behind any work his men do and if something is wrong, they will fix it. They are always busy but he will take the time to sit down with you to listen to your concerns. We are having issues with our door and he has been working on it without charging us!! Our rig was cleaner (inside and out) when we picked it up than when we took it in!! He treats his customers with respect but he also treats his employees with respect. It's nice in today's world to see an owner treat employees this way. One Friday we were in there and he was cooked them lunch!!! Most rigs stay inside their shop so they are safe and secure--and if they have to stay outside they are guarded by a fence and his 2 guard dogs!! I would give him 10 stars!!! read more

The owner paid attention to all the details and did an excellent job repairing all the work that was needed. I felt as if he only worked on my rv;he immediately called me and talked about various options to repair the problems from the least to the most expensive. If there were more than 5 stars that I could give, Foothill RV Center would be more than deserving of them. They provide excellent service, and they genuinely care about their customers. My husband and I were camping in California from Arizona pulling our fifth wheel. While leaving the campsite we experienced some problems with our hitch that needed to be taken care of IMMEDIATELY​. I made several​ phone calls to try and see if someone could get us in to look at what was going on. The places I called said they were just too busy. We even stopped into​ one location just to try to speak with someone and they turned us away. We decided to call Foothill​ Rv where we spoke with Herman. Even though they were busy themselves, he did not hesitate and told us to come on in so that they could take a look at the problem. Herman and the staff were extremely knowledgeable. Parts had to be ordered so we needed to spend the day hanging out with their crew. They took care of us and made us feel like family!! They are AWSOME!! read more

Beware of this RV repair shop! The owner Herman talks a good game but when it came down to it he DID NOT KEEP HIS WORD. I took my trailer in for repairs after it was involved in a collision and it came home with new damage due to the careless nature of the workers at this shop who decided to cut a "project car" in half right beside my toyhauler causing damage to my windows and gel coat all along the side of my trailer. In addition to this, pieces to my air conditioner unit were missing (even though there was no work done to my ac unit) and holes were left in the interior of my trailer exposing poor workmanship. After communicating with Herman for 6 months regarding these issues and concerns, he did nothing but give me the run around and make empty promises that he would turn it into his insurance. He also claimed to have mailed out the ac pieces multiple times which I never received. Herman finally gave me some old broken ac unit pieces (which I assume are from someone else's trailer). I could go on and on to share more about my dissatisfactory experience with Foothill RV Center, but you get the idea. I will not be returning to Foothill RV Center and I do not recommend this place to anyone who values their RV. read more
