If you're on the hunt for a truly exceptional hamburger, then look no further than the one I just had! This burger was an absolute masterpiece - juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked to perfection. The patty had been expertly smashed and seared on the griddle, creating a delicious crust that locked in all the juicy goodness. Every bite was a symphony of taste sensations, with a perfect balance of saltiness, umami, and savory goodness. I also had the Brussel sprouts. These little cruciferous veggies were cooked to perfection - tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, with a savory and slightly sweet taste of dipping sauce that was irresistible. Lastly, I rinsed it down with a Kentucky mule. The drink was made with Kentucky bourbon, ginger beer, and fresh lime juice, and the combination of flavors was simply divine. The bourbon gave the drink a rich and complex flavor, with notes of vanilla and oak that were perfectly balanced by the zesty lime and spicy ginger beer. What I loved most about this drink was how refreshing it was after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend this place and I will return. read more

I usually don't write reviews, but my recent experience at this place left me incredibly disappointed. We waited in line for half an hour, patiently hoping to place our order. However, right when it was finally about to be our turn, the staff suddenly announced that the order taker needed to take a 30-minute break and wouldn't be able to take any more orders until afterward. This announcement wasn't directed to just us but to several groups of customers waiting behind us as well. While I understand that employees need breaks, this should be managed more professionally. For instance, a proper schedule or a second staff member should have been available to cover such situations. Leaving multiple customers in line without any warning, only to inform us at the last minute, felt very inconsiderate and poorly organized. If the management doesn't address this, it's hard to imagine coming back again, even if the food is great. The experience left a sour taste before we even got a chance to try anything. read more

I recently dined at Camp Outpost Restaurant in Springdale, UT, and had a delightful experience. The food here is absolutely fantastic! Every dish we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and presented beautifully. The menu offers a great variety, and there's something for everyone to enjoy. The ambiance of the restaurant is also noteworthy. It has a cozy, rustic charm that makes for a very pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The only minor challenge was the parking and access on the day we visited. It took a bit of effort to find a spot, but once we were inside, it was well worth it. The delicious food and warm service more than made up for it. Overall, I'd highly recommend Camp Outpost Restaurant for anyone in the area. Despite the minor parking challenge, the quality of the food and the great service make it a must-visit! read more

Came for breakfast but they have a very limited menu. Lots of little things add up to a bad review. No cream or half & half for coffee just coffee mate, toast was not buttered and we had to request it, butter was hard and very cold so it was not possible to spread on the toast that was not hot. Bacon was ok but covered in a lot of grease, not drained at all from the pan. Had a black grease type substance on the side of the plate (Mettel tray they good is served on) and I sent it back. They just put it on a new plate and said it was from the pan. Not acceptable in my opinion. No salt or pepper unless you ask. No fill up on coffee. I would not recommend for breakfast. Was really excited to to try this place with my husband even though it seemed a little pricey for the menu. We walked in and after waiting 10-15 minutes from one family ordering, they told us that it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait for the food to come out. The decor has a yard sale chic aesthetic that's somehow carefully curated without looking like it tried too hard. The staff had just enough piercings and tattoos for me know they would love to talk to me about their record collections if I asked, and the whole place manages to feel both laid back and just upscale enough that you can justify ordering anything from a burger to what looked like a pretty respectable ribeye. I went with the Shroom, a portobello mushroom burger, and it was enjoyable. Tons of flavor, perfectly satisfying, and paired with one of the crispest side salads I've had in a while. Bonus points for the edamame. I will happily eat edamame in just about anything. Not with jello though. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, although we collectively demonstrated the adventurous spirit of a group that mostly ordered the Pub burger. So I can't claim we've fully explored the menu yet. This just gives me an excuse to come back. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The only moment that caught me a little off guard was when the owner stopped by to let us know he had baseball cards for sale in one part of the restaurant, along with an upstairs gallery featuring local artwork. I felt like he might next open his coat to show me some watches. He's just down for the hustle I guess. The art ranged from "that's pretty nice" to "someone really, really loves painting Utah's red rocks." Most of it was priced well beyond what I was looking to take home, but honestly, I have to respect that they're giving local artists a place to showcase their work. So maybe I'm just being a little grumpy. Get off my lawn. By the way I'd be happy to eat here again

Sugar Knoll is a fried chicken sandwich restaurant located in a small town near the eastern…read moreentrance to Zion. Since we were staying in a hotel nearby, we decided to give it a try for a weekday dinner. The interior is large enough that I can't imagine them actually ever filling the space with enough customers. There's plenty of seating and a strange empty expanse right in the middle of the restaurant. The building has a cold, impersonal but modern interior complete with LVP flooring. Walking up to the restaurant, the exterior smells like fryer oil. Unfortunately, the interior has a terrible chemical smell, like the adhesive on the LVP flooring hadn't been completely aired out. This restaurant is over a year old but it somehow still smells like fresh flooring. The fumes were way too strong for my tastes and I ended up having to order my food to go. Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, Crispy Combo ($17.49) - The sandwich includes a buttered and toasted bun, toasted on both sides, a slice of tomato, slaw, pickles, three chicken fingers, and Sugar Knoll's special sauce slathered on the bottom bun. The chicken fingers seem to be freshly breaded and fried in house. It's a lighter scraggly batter that gives a softer crisp rather than hard crunch and it's dusted with salt, pepper, and seasoning salt. They only use white meat chicken and the chicken isn't over done, so the interior isn't dried out. The sandwich is kind of a mess to eat given the three separate pieces of meat that have a tendency to fall out while biting in. I'm actually surprised at the quality of the fingers - I assumed a middle of nowhere restaurant would use commercial chicken strips! Sugar Knoll's special sauce is unfortunately subpar. It's like they took all the condiments they could find and mixed them together into a gloopy mess. The thing is - it's not even mixed very well! There are white splotches of mayo dressing the reddish color of the rest of the sauce. It has an off-putting flavor - heavily acidic with vinegar, yet smoky, like liquid smoke and hot sauce are mixed in. I wanted something to dip the fries in while eating, but I ended up having to throw out the extra cup of sauce they gave. The combo comes with seasoned crinkle cut fries. The fries are... interesting. Most are pale white, some being undercooked a bit making the inside firmer than fluffy potato. The fries aren't fried long enough to puff open the starches, which makes them damp and soggy inside. At least they aren't overly seasoned. I'm surprised they messed up the fries given the quality of the chicken fingers. Sugar Knoll is definitely a mixed bag. Their fried chicken is surprisingly good. Unfortunately everything else they serve seems to be an afterthought. Bathrooms - Two unisex rooms
