Chewy & Staff who he loves
    Hope E.

Always pleased with the service and care at this facility! I know my dog is in good hands when I leave him there for daycare. Chewy loves the staff and so do we- they even texted me one time pics of them playing with him, which we didn't ask for nor got charged for!! :)

Camp counselor doing nothing until I called front desk.

Over crowding of dogs. My dog caught kennel cough which I had to take my dog to vet which cost $1800 dollars. They do not play with dogs or have them outside. Basically keep 15-20 dogs together in kennel all day with no interaction. Also supervison is mediocre. They have Webcam so u can monitor your pet...watched a dog hump other dog while employee did nothing until I called. Did not realize this place also has a history of kennel cough and injuries. I do not recommend boarding them here.

Sooo amazing to watch my pup all day! Peace of mind!

I'm OVER THE MOON for this place!!! Was referred to it (for my Frenchie) by Country Kennels. Absolutely ADORE the lobby and the cheesy but so calming actual CAMP vibe...down to a soothing rocking loveseat and an electric fireplace that's ON - even on the hottest days/not for heat but for ambiance. WOW! I LOVE the "interview" process where they take a whole 3 hours to make sure your dog will "fit into the pack and not be a problem" - which assured me that all the others there would "play nice" with MY dog...which they DID...and all of this was FREE as the first day. The whole cherry on the top was being able to spy on the dogs ALL DAY via their app web cams/inside and out; you can switch at will. Another huge WOW; I was absolutely mesmerized. And each time their "counselors" petted my dog, it was a true "awwwww" moment. The people were all great here and Christina took extra good care of us, both on the phone and in person. I really couldn't like this place more. And they offer a GREAT first day "package" that saves $50, so I was very on board with that. LOVE IT. Two huge thumbs up.

Camp bow wow, Temecula do not deserve access to this handsome guy. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.

Wow! I'm so glad Melissa was so unprofessional that it caused me to come to Yelp. I don't know why I didn't check Yelp before considering this place. Melissa, the manager, called me to tell me that she couldn't take my dog for his orientation today because he didn't have his neuter certification. My dog is a male and he received vaccinations from two facilities. Both are signed documents from vets. One of the documents noted his neuter status and the other one did not have a section where for that so it didn't note it. My dog IS neutered. He's been neutered since he was under one year old and he's three years old now it's obvious he's neutered. You can see the scar. I tried to reason with Melissa, the manager, that it's obvious that he has been neutered. She cited some rare condition where the testes don't fully drop. Ok but I don't know how that would leave a scar. But that's just me thinking logically. My second complaint is that they didn't let me know yesterday (Saturday) when I could've called my vet so that they could ask them to email over proof of the neuter. She did not care. I called back to let them know I needed to cancel the orientation because the vet is closed on a Sunday. A male answered and he sounded much more reasonable. He put me on hold to go check. But then Melissa, the manager, came back with her unprofessional attitude and would not be reasonable. I asked Melissa, the manager, to give me the owners name because that is who she said is above her. She's said their names are Lisa and Michael Hate. When I asked for the spelling of their last name so that I could spell it correctly, she claimed to not know how to spell it. I asked her to check with someone else to see if they knew how to spell it. After waiting on hold, she came back and said no one else knew how to spell it and said it won't be a problem if I misspelled it. They will know who to give it to. I let her know it's a matter of respect that I spelled their last name correctly and that I was surprised that a person wouldn't know how to spell their boss' last name. I came here to write this negative review but I started to read the other negative reviews and I'm so glad I did. I'm definitely not going to take my dog to this place. Melissa did me a favor. I'm still going to write her bosses because even if they don't care, I would want to know if one of my employees is causing me to lose business. I would also want to know if they didn't know how to spell my name. I'd remind them by giving them a pink slip with my name clearly spelled out on it. (Yes I'm old pink slip)

All the dogs and one worker

So my dog stayed there 5 nights. I was able to watch my dog on the cameras a lot during my vacation. Unfortunately I don't feel like the majority of the employees cared for the dogs, they had little of none interaction with my dog and other dogs. My dog walked the area looking super depressed and she's a very happy dog. There were no toys. You can call and add for your dog to be pet for an additional fee. I spoke with Lisa. I don't know if that will help. I expected my fur baby, to be pet and treated well and I unfortunately feel just the opposite. Only one male employee pet some of the dogs. So take that into consideration when you book here. Also my dog is small they had some medium sized dogs in with the smalls and my dog amongst others where getting g ran over by the bigger dogs. The yard isn't really that big to handle 26 dogs at a time. Anyways I hope this helps all involved.

    Remi (right) and her friend
    Lavon N.

My pup Remi spent ten whole days and one overnight stay here, and she had the most fantastic time! The staff was so lovely and treated her so well. I love the fact that they have indoor and outdoor spaces with three different sizes for various sizes of dogs, and if the dogs were all roughly the same size, then they would combine the 2 yards, giving them a larger space to run around and play. I like that they have cameras in all 3 yards, so throughout the day, I could go on the app and check on Remi and see what she was up to. What's also neat is a few times a month, they offer different enrichment activities that you could sign your dog up for to make the day extra fun for them. For example, one day, they provided bubbles and a ball pit, and another, they had peanut butter painting. You pay extra for those, and they last for about 45 minutes. Remi did both and had so much fun! Every so often, I would get a photo or a quick text about how Remi was doing, and honestly, that made my day knowing that Remi was being taken care of. It was great because when I would pick Remi up in the evening, she would be so tired that she would fall asleep once she got in the car. I could go on and on about how excellent this place is because it was. I can't thank the staff enough for treating Remi so well and being so good to her.

Ask the Community - Camp Bow Wow Temecula

I see pictures of a concrete fenced yard & a yard with grass. When are the dogs put in each yard?

There are 3 yards, each with an indoor and outdoor area so no matter what yard your dog is in they are able to go indoors and outdoors as much as they would like while in the play yard which is most of the day other than during meal times

So I can leave my dogs here while I'm on vacation? Or is this a one time day thing?

It is also boarding. I went on vacation for 10 days and left 2 dogs there. Great place!!

Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

Breaking my ankle recently escalated the problems. I could see the need for assistance in the near future. Began searching for obtaining a mobility service dog. Only a few agencies in Calif. train dogs for this disability and their wait list for starting the program was upwards of 4 years. I was planning to use my 2 yr old Black Lab. Since I had "hit dead-ends" in my search, I decided to at least look for some obedience training for the dog. After interviewing several trainers in my area, I found Erin to be my choice. I met with her to discuss the training and discovered that she had experience in training mobility service dogs! She was a bit hesitant to commit to the training and wanted to evaluate my dog to see if she had the right temperament...it seemed that she did! I signed up for the 3 week board and train program, with the understanding that basic obedience was would be addressed as well as introducing some service dog training to see how the dog performed.
