I honestly cannot recommend Marvel K9 enough. I adopted my sweet girl Tabby September of 2021. She was fearful and anxious around literally anyone who wasn't myself or my family and I honestly was on the fence about a board and train but after taking her for the first meet and greet with Erene, I knew it was going to be the best decision ever. Erene, her husband along with their staff have quite the well oiled machine running at their facility and it's impressive and puts your mind at ease when you take your pups there. We brought our 1 year old rescue ( Belgian Malinois) to Erene and Francois for basic obedience training and behavior modification, focusing on correcting dog reactivity. Please don't fall for the reviews. My dog stayed here 6 weeks and came back just as wild as when he went there. I don't believe that a dog is trained only if they have a prong collar and e collar on. I have used both these methods with my other dog and they work but my dog also is trained without them on. There was very little communication when my dog was at training and when I would get communication it would be after multiple attempts. When I came for the go home training my dog had cuts on his neck and was told it was from playing with other dogs . I know this is from excessive prong use. I am so disappointed that I spent 3600 dollars to have my dog come back skinnier, not trained and abused. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They wanted me to continue 1:1 training but I was done. I am soooo happy with the training Marvel K9 provided me and my dog, Saint. I had previously taken my dog to a different board and train program. I struggled with Saint after that training and felt like I was just not getting it or Saint and I were hopeless. Saint was leash aggressive and very hard to walk when other dogs were around. Marvel K9 is AMAZING to work with. Let me start by saying how incredibly grateful we are to have found Erene and her team. Without her persistence and knowledge, what she's accomplished wouldn't have been possible. Dog trainer? Or dog whisperer more like. Erene is confident and you can clearly see that from our initial assessment at the BEAUTIFUL Marvel K9 facility. Our situation was unique I would say. We brought our 1.5 year old Male Frenchie to them because of some extreme fear and signs of aggression issue he was showing. From the first time we met Erene, I knew she was the right one for our baby after having hired other trainers and not seen any change. She knows exactly when and how to test your pup and NEVER makes you feel that she would let anything happen. She tested our pup with one of her large dogs, who is trained amazingly and didn't even flinch when our dog tried to react. You could clearly see she knew exactly how far she could go, safely to give you a accurate assessment. Which was something I needed to see after our last horrible experience with a past trainer. We decided to sign our Frenchi up for the Behavior Mod and advance off leash training board and train program. 4-6 weeks long. At drop off we only brought his food and pup. She boards them inside her home, which we love because it gave our baby a at home feel. She provided a bed for him while there, crate and offered to transition him to RAW food diet while there. We agreed and we are so happy we did. She does a safe; and informed transition, keeping you informed the process. She even added some supplements for skin and made him some yummy healthy treats. During his training, we were giving the option to visit when we asked, however we did not want to create any depression with us coming and going for our dog in the middle of training, we decided to FaceTime him( which was great and made it easier to not see him during training. Weekly we got a update on his training, via email and pictures of him as well. We also got photos regularly during training via text, and she answered any and every question we had. During his training he was introduced to all sizes of dogs, all breeds and all ages. He become besties with a lot of them and played well in day care as well at the facility. We also decided to board our 4 month old pug for the weekend with them at the end of his training and she also transitioned our puppy to RAW and introduced them to each other, which made it so Easy for me to have them home together again. At the end of training, we went to the facility to do our pre-home appointment we were givin some instructions on things he was trained to do so she could see if we were following the instructions right. It is not only important to Erene to make sure your pups are trained and listening, but also that you, the handler is following the commands properly as well. Because if you don't follow the commands and structures she's put into place, all the hard work she's done will go to waste. So, if you're not willing to do the work, then this might not be for you and you can't blame anyone but yourself if you don't listen to everything she teaches you and your pup. The next day, Erene personally drove our pup home, and re introduced him to our home calmly and worked again with us on "homework" for the week. We were able to ask any questions we had at this time, she showed us how to use all the tools she used for training and practiced the commands with us at our home as well. As a dog owner who has always had a fear of bad dog behavior because of past experience, getting him back home and being in charge now made me a little nervous, but I could clearly see that he was much happier, not depressed anymore and eager to please. Which made it easy for me to take the role she had been playing during his training. Our baby arrived home healthy, amazing coat, happy, non-injured, at a very healthy weight, and most importantly not fearful of many things he was when he left for training. We are so grateful to have found Marvel and Erene. We are even doing training for our puppy too with them because we realize we don't know all the answers and her help is unmeasurable. With the easy communication, and tremendous help Erene and her team have shown us, it is the BEST choice you can make for your furbaby. Any breed, any size and problem. We have a standard Australian Shepherd and a mini Australian Shepherd, and both exhibited very typical Aussie behavior of being protective of us and anxious of strangers. Thanks so much for taking our boy Titan (2 year old Pittie mix) and turning him from a hoodlum and into a gentleman. We signed him up for the advanced off leash board and train program and highly recommend that anyone with issues like ours do the same (call me and come meet Titan so you can see his new attitude!). Titan was obviously abused before we adopted him from the shelter, knew/followed NO commands, was aggressive to other dogs, pulled like a freight horse on walks, chased birds/chickens/ducks unmercifully, marked inside the house, jumped on people, aggressively barked at everyone (except Mom; Marvel knew immediately he was resource guarding), lunged and bit people unmercifully (10 different people; some multiple times) and obviously needed to learn some basic manners so he could avoid fear based reactions. After his stay at Marvel K9 he came back a changed pup! Now he not only behaves around people and other pets, he follows commands! He goes into his kennel voluntarily, knows/follows all the basic commands on and off leash, and I feel like I can take him anywhere, given some more time and my training improves (not his, LOL). He came out a much calmer and more controllable pup that can live in our home and we can all enjoy each other. From the initial introduction Erene immediately bonded with him and within 10 minutes stated that Titan was trainable. Her take charge/no nonsense attitude helped immensely, especially as I was worried we had to make the hard decision of either practicing avoidance the rest of his life or having to put him down (yes, we tried cheaper priced trainers first). We sent our two Belgian Malinois to the Marvel K9 team for 5 weeks of advanced off leash and all I can say is WOW. Our young male had major on leash dog aggression, we couldn't even take him on a walk without worry what might happen. Now, we can take him out and about anywhere without any issue. We went to this location. Not easy to get to either and we were in a truck. Once we got there it was awkward. No one really greeted us and we felt like we didn't know what to do. We finally were greeted by a staff member about 15 minutes after we got there and we had an appointment so I figured they should've expected us. Finally about 20 or so minutes later we were met by the main woman. She took my dog walked two seconds into an obstacle course with mannequins and one glance my dog didn't want to walk through. She came back to us told us our dog had fear based behaviors and that we would need to board him and it would cost about $3000. My husband and I really didn't like the idea of leaving our dog to be boarded with other people and we could not visit until weeks later. Although if my dog needed it we would pay the amount it was kinda steep for us. We took our dog to the vet who told us our miniature pincher was the most well adjusted dog he's ever saw in his office and said he had a bunch of trust in us and was not fearful at all. So we ended up at a K-9 training facility with our baby and he is the star of the class with all the bigger police dogs. He's thriving and I didn't have to board him. He doesn't show any fear. I wonder if that is how they do it with everyone's pet. Walk them through a course for a second and then say it's fear based and needs to be boarded. Our experience was very impersonal and left me feeling as though we were a burden to them for being there at our appointment time. I could imagine leaving my fur baby with someone who left me feeling the way they did. It wasn't a warm and friendly environment where I felt comfortable leaving my pet. Marvel K9 Trained our defiant difficult to control pup with unbelievably great results. Lucie was constantly into mischief and would deliberately do whatever she was told not to do. Never listened to any commands and would sulk when reprimanded. Marvel K9 was our last ditch effort before giving her away. (And we feel our pets are part of the family.) Her behavior was bad. Lucie came home after the 4 weeks of training at Marvel K9 a totally different dog. Her demeanor is sweet and loving. She is attentive to what we want her to do and is eager to please. (Not exactly a convenient drive for her). Before the training, Lucie pulled on the leash constantly so much it was a constant battle. Eight months ago we contacted Marvil K9 looking for training and occasional boarding for our Belgian Malinois. We drove to their facility in Temecula and met Erene and other team members. We were provided many options to choose from and selected a training package specially tailored for us. Quite frankly based on the price we thought there had to be other charges or hidden costs for things not discussed. Much to our surprise and delight they provided everything we discussed and much more and not once was there an extra charge. NONE. My Belgian Malinois puppy was very dog-aggressive and extremely active. I researched trainers that specialize with this breed, and found Marvel K9. I am very happy to have found them, because training with their team was wonderful. Erene, Francois and Diana made the process very easy, understandable and helpful. You can really tell that they love these animals and take great pride in their profession. When I got my dog back from training, he was completely changed - in the best way. He responds perfectly to commands now and is very friendly with other dogs when I walk him. He is confident and happy. The only downside was being away from my dog for 7 weeks during the board and train, but of course understand that was part of the process. 5 stars! I have a Malinois that I started taking to Marvel K9 back in May, and I'm so glad I did! I drive an hour and 20 minutes each way and it's absolutely worth it. We are training for personal protection and French ring, and within the first couple lessons with Francois I could already see the results of the knowledge and experience he brings to the table. Not only is my dog learning quickly, but with the help of Francois and the whole team at Marvel I'm learning how to communicate better with my dog and become a better handler. Everyone there is so nice and willing to help. This is a great group of people who really care about dogs, I can't recommend them enough! When I go away for two weeks in September they will be the only place I trust to leave my boy for boarding as well. read more

Marvel K9 is a fantastic facility! The trainers are very knowledgeable and thorough in their training. While my pup was there I learned all about how to feed 'Raw' food instead of kibble and I noticed my dogs are much happier with it! Francois is the best protection-dog trainer ever! read more

I would HIGHLY recommend Marvel k9 for any type of dog training. Erene and Gene worked with my dog on behavior modification and her behavior has drastically changed. The price at first seemed high, but it was worth every penny because they are so thorough and detailed with everything. They walk you (humans) through everything you need to maintain the good behavior and are so helpful. Communication is great with everyone there. They have an awesome facility and hike with the dogs everyday. I would use them again in a heartbeat for any future doggies! You won't regret hiring them! read more
