My boyfriend brought me here on a beautiful Saturday morning (February 21, 2026 at 10:15 AM), and the weather was perfect -- which made the experience even better. The line was very short, and we were greeted right when we walked in. As we were admiring all the bakery items, it became our turn to order. The staff member at the counter was friendly and welcoming, and everything moved quickly and smoothly. The place itself is extremely clean, well-lit, and inviting. The display of desserts was impressive -- so many gorgeous options! They also offer custom cakes that we're already considering for our next celebration. The prices are very comparable to places like Whole Foods that are known for baked goods, but I genuinely feel the quality here is even better. Plus, you can walk in and out without dealing with big crowds or long waits. It feels good supporting local businesses -- especially as our community continues to grow and more people are looking for "mom and pop" spots instead of large chain stores. I've already sent videos of their dessert selection to family and friends, and I'm planning to place a cake order soon. I would absolutely recommend this bakery to anyone looking for quality pastries, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Wednesday, February 18th 2026 at around 5:45pm the female employee with braids seemed to be at her wits end and didn't want to help out or greet customers with more care and respect. What should I expect from snobby Camarillians selling over priced baked goods? The quality has gone down significantly here and it's obvious why. Hire pretty eye candy who are b i t c h e s but cant smile and welcome customers. Please note that you will be treated differently if you are a different race than white

When I was there, it was mid afternoon (before closing) so it was calmer all around. I love their pastries, but the recent price increases do make them a luxury item. Kouign Amann are my fave, but any of their croissants are also great. Had a Hot chocolate at the Camarillo location, and they even had a little latte art in the milk foam. Server was much more talkative and friendly because it wasn't crowded when I went. In general I felt a friendlier warm vibe compared to Ventura location, but either one is great for classic European vibe, and great pastries.

It's a casual & cute cafe that always hits the mark and we love seeing their growth all over the 805. I stopped in for an iced matcha and decided to try something new and I'm so glad I did. Huge kudos to Ashley for recommending their breakfast crepe (not something I'd normally order, but WOW was it good). BREAKFAST CREPE: A fluffy crepe filled with soft, melty brie, eggs, bacon, arugula and tomatoes, absolutely delicious and so well balanced. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. 10/10 ICED MATCHA: Washed it all down with a sweet iced matcha, just how I like it...lightly sweet, a little creamy, and still packing that earthy matcha flavor. 8/10. Definitely a great location in the heart of old town camarillo. Nice staff, clean interior, cozy vibes and good food.

I found this spot online and headed over and Im glad I did. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the owners, husband and wife team who immediately made me feel welcome. They were eager to walk me through the menu, offered great suggestions, and were incredibly patient while my brain was still waking up at 9am lol. Their kindness and humor made me feel right at home. This place also feels homey. If you take a moment to look around, you'll notice the personal touches such as the artwork, photos, and thoughtful details that tell a story of their family. Okay Now to get to the good stuff the drinks and bites are stellar, here's what I got: I finally found a seriously addicting chai here in the 805. I'm very picky about chai, so when Robin insisted "you're trying this" so I listened and I'm so glad I did haha. Freshly brewed, no artificial flavors, perfectly spiced. I think I would dub this one of the BEST chai's I've ever had. 10/10. Their classic breakfast bites hit the spot too. I had a breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and a fresh egg. Simple but good. I'd get this again but also would be open to trying some of their other bites. 8/10. The handmade bakery section here was unreal. The apple pastry I ordered was pure nostalgia and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their daily baked goods. The selection was huge and lots of different options to try. I think their passionfruit pastry will be calling my name next time. Lastly I leave you with a Fun fact: if you're a football fan or into chess, this is your cafe. Chess tables are available for playing at and it's the perfect morning spot to catch matches over coffee and pastries. Liverpool fans especially welcome here ;) Sorry it took me so long to find this spot but they've got a new fan now!

The food and service here are amazing - get…read moresome. 3 GENERATIONS OF POUND CAKE DATA I grew up eating pound cakes baked by three generations of women who poured their souls into every soft, buttery, rich loaf. To me, that is what pound cake is supposed to be: simple, flavorful, comforting, and made with care. LEMON IN THE TITLE (NO SO MUCH IN THE CAKE) Unfortunately, the lemon pound cake I purchased today for over $15 did not come close to that standard. The color, flavor, and dense, bready interior all pointed to a missed opportunity. I was especially disappointed that the lemon flavor lacked brightness. There was no real sense of lemon zest in the cake or icing, which is what gives a lemon pound cake its character and lift. ICING - EPIC UNDERPERFORMANCE The icing also fell flat. Instead of tasting like a thoughtful glaze or cream cheese-style icing infused with lemon, it came across more like powdered sugar and water sitting on top of the cake. It checked the box visually, but it did not enliven the cake or the senses. NO FUTURE SALE HERE (UNLESS THE PRODUCT IMPROVES) For $15, I should have been excited to come back for another one and maybe pick one up for a friend. Sadly, that was not the case. I would love to see this store put more care into honoring the pound cake tradition with excellence, because pound cake lovers know the difference.
