I bought four donuts at this establishment this morning. Two of the four donuts each had a long human hair (5 to 7 inches long) stuck to it. One donut contained a blonde or light brown hair. The other donut had a hair that came from a brunette. Photo attached. Enough said.

On top of a donut, all covered with glaze, I lost my whole dollar, and walked away. I have been to a lot of donut shops in the OC. This is your very basic old school local donut shop located in an outdated strip mall housed with gems like Starbucks, Noahs and Roebucks juices in the 805. Fostars display cases were filled with colorful basics; Twists, bars, jelly's, cakes. Thats it. Nothing fancy or fluffy or OMG factored in. After staring at the old school styled treats I ordered the plainest thing, a twist. I handed the nice lady my dollar, and she gave me .15 cents back and I walked away. My twist was a little dry and disappointing. However, there is potential in their donuts. They also sell coffee, chocolate milk, plain milk, sodas, water, ect. The outdoor ambience is pretty nice. Lots of outdoor seating with a beautiful fountain overlooking a few tables. The service was good. The lady behind the counter was nice. I am very spoiled with living in the OC, and feasting on the 2014 style of doughnuts. But Ventura County still holds a special place in my heart. For a basic shop, nothing else, this is okay.

Apple fritter = why was this soggy?!

Yes, it is possible to be sad after eating a donut. Just got one thing, an APPLE FRITTER. It was soft and mushy on the outside, stale and dry inside. Moreover, the entire thing was bland. And because we paid for it, we ate it. I know, it's an unhealthy rationale. Lackluster quality aside, at least the service was very nice. Note that this place is CASH ONLY. Location is in the Ralph's shopping center on the corner of Ponderosa & Las Posas, to the left of Starbucks.

Having tried several donut shops in the area, this is my favorite, and was a hit at the office. A good local corner donut shop with plenty of donut options. The donuts aren't too greasy, not too dense or doughy, yet not too airy, they're just done right. I've tried just about everything they offer, from their mochi donuts to their ham and cheese croissants. Nothing here will disappoint. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly. There nothing overly fancy about this place, it's just good regular donuts, in an old fashioned donut shop setting, conveniently located. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

Instead of an apology, we were accused of lying. It was just 2 donuts, and we were even willing to pay for them, but the owner added an extra charge because, apparently, we "didn't buy enough" in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous. This place is beyond awful. The customer service is abysmal, and they treated us with complete disrespect. To make matters worse, they tainted a special day for my son over a couple of donuts. There are plenty of other places that treat their customers with honesty and respect--this isn't one of them.

You can immediately tell when the team is friendly, happy, and professional--everyone at Good Morning Café was exactly that. Our server, Sara--who's been there for 10 years--was outstanding. Since 2011, Good Morning Café has been serving up great experiences, and I can't believe I hadn't been there before! It was a fantastic find in my Camarillo breakfast hunt. I regret not snapping a photo of my bacon, spinach, and avocado omelette--but I was too busy enjoying it! I'll definitely be back when I'm next in the Camarillo area.
