I used call-a-tech because of the reviews on Yelp and it's true. Gus is a great guy. He is honest and budget oriented. I had a problem with my wifi router system that I just bought. It would not connect to all my smart devices. So he suggested me to get some access points from Amazon which was cheaper than what I bought. I also had a problem with my computer which he suggested me to get more memory and told me what I needed. Not trying to sell me the products and mark it up like most companies. I also call him up for some other things about my network and he helped me through it. Most companies would say let me schedule an appointment so that they can make more money off of you. I initially called Gus, as our wifi was constantly dropping and our music, movies, etc were always going out. I reached out to for help overcoming WiFi issues in my new built house. My existing wifi router and plugin extender were not doing the job as i was not coming close to the 200 mbps i was getting from TWC (struggling to get 5 mbps in most rooms. Gus came by next day to evaluate, made some suggestions, gave me a list of equipment to order and we set an appointment for 3 days later from him to install and configure. The Ubiquiti Networks "Unifi" access points and Linksys PoE switch he recommended made is both easy and extremely elegant to deploy thru the ethernet network the house preinstalled had. Now we have 100+ mbps coverage in every room, they access points aren't visually obtrusive and Gus set up a tucked away "telecoms shelf" where modem, router and switch all coexist out of view. As he put it, a very "wife approved" set up. All done in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend his services. read more
