First off I just want to say the process with these guys was so smooth and not stressful in the least. I had Kyle as my trusty repair guy and he did an absolutely amazing job. I loved the fact that he would call me with updates for even the smallest thing going on with my car. He projected that it would be a week for my car to be fixed and he even got it to me earlier than they originally planned. Also, my insurance company tried to send in a refurbished grill for my car. To be cheaper in price, however, it had two holes drilled in the front for the license plate. I have a very nice car and Kyle remembered that I originally had no front license plate holes. He convinced them to get me a brand new grille. He also got a professional decal guy to put on my decals perfectly. Overall, Kyle is an all around outgoing and extremely kind business man and I appreciate his hard work and attention to detail. Great customer service skills from Kyle. On top of all this other great stuff I have my car back and she looks brand new! They also returned it to me smelling new and way cleaner than when I left it. Went to this place for a quote on my neighbor's truck and ended up getting some rude sales man. This guy walked around like he owned the place and the world revolves around him. Maybe he does own it but his customer service sucks. He gave us a quote of 1800 then took it back as it was 1900 then proceeded to tell us that there will also be a charge of between 1-500 dollars more if a sensor needed calibration. All this for one front fender. I told the guy can I just pay 1900 flat and I'll do it now he said no . I looked at my neighbor and we both had the same idea let's go this seems janky. We then went to crash champions collision and got an excellent sales man and got a quote for the same thing for 1680. We did not even tell them what the other quote was to compare. I paid the 1680 and his truck now looks like brand new. Moral of the story is don't let these companies just tell you anything and be rude. There are to many places that do the same thing and better. These businesses don't realize the business they pass up also Since I was there I also wanted a quote of my truck fenders getting repainted. read more

I had a car accident and needed the passenger side of my Nissan Murano repaired. I brought my car to Caliber Collision in Tomball because Traveler's Insurance had recommended them and also because I found them on Yelp and they had decent reviews. Here is the good with the bad: First of all, the good: My service advisor, Sal Herrera, was excellent. He texted me and/or called me every day to keep me apprised of the status of my car. I really, really appreciated it and thought he did an excellent job. Also, my car was done when it was supposed to be done, which was also very good. Now the bad: I go to pick up my car on a Friday afternoon and I see a chip the side of a pencil eraser back by the license plate. The chip was definitely new and wasn't there when I dropped my car off. I told them that there is no way that was there before and that I wanted it fixed. The technicians said that they took photos of my car before it went into the shop, yet never produced any that showed the chip was there before the repair. So, I tell them I want it fixed before I pick the car up so they said that they will fix it. I go back to pick up the car when it was promised and the chip has been fixed and all looks good, however, now I notice yet another new issue with the car. Specifically, there is a new scratch next to the driver's door handle; see photo. At this point I am so frustrated I don't say a word and drive off. The next day I am at Kroger's grocery story and I notice ripples on the side of my car where the car had been damaged. I can't tell if it is the new body work or the new paint or both, but it is very noticeable in the sunlight. (It was a little cloudy and later in the day when I picked my car up from Caliber Collision so I didn't notice these things when I picked the car up.) On top of that, there is a blemish in the paint on the passenger rear door near the door handle; see photo. It looks like the paint was put on too heavy and it collected in that area. Honestly, I was so angry and upset when I saw these issues I wanted to scream. I had been in a rental car for three weeks and had already returned the car to Enterprise. Bringing my car back to Caliber to address these new issues would mean more rental car expenses and time while my car was in the shop. Honestly, I just can't deal with this. Given all of these issues, there is no way I can ever recommend Caliber Collision in Tomball to anyone. read more

I wouldnt recommend this place for anything. Customer service is decent, quality of the work is poor. I brought my car in, for front end repairs. When I got my car back, it was half a$$ fixed. Headlight wasn't aligned, feeder had a hole underneath, gaps in between different parts of the bumper. Just an overall terrible job. Luckily no accident this time but needed a few things done body wise on my car. Dealership was not very helpful and wanted to charge an arm and a leg. Not only did caliber beat the price but I had the option to use factory or aftermarket parts if I wanted too. Still used all OEM and came out cheaper and looked great! read more

Yesterday was unbelievable. I took my wife's Camry in with a damaged trunk lid that would not lock shut (won't tell you the stupid thing I did to mess it up and get it out of alignment...did I mention I used it as a tow hook to pull it out of the mud). Anyway, I took it in for an estimate. David Hayes drove it into the shop, came back 10 minutes later...all fixed. No charge!. I tried to pay but he would not let me. I went to Caliber Collision in the first place because a year ago I took in my son-in-law's Suburban while he was overseas and had some dings fixed as well as getting the hood painted. I got an estimate that seemed very fair and left the vehicle. When I came to pick it up it turns out that they significantly underestimated the cost to repair it because the original paint was actually not original and therefore hard to match. That required painting more than expected. But, they honored the original quote...even after I had no issues with paying more. They insisted, no upcharge! How often do you see a company treat their customers like they have treated me...not very often. Rare! I HIGHLY recommend Caliber Collision in Tomball. Awesome work, great customer service, fair prices, honesty, and integrity. What more would you want? They will get ALL of my auto repair work. (Hope I don't need more, but...) read more

Had major hail damage to my truck. The work that was done could be called mediocre at best, but the most concerning thing was not replacing the headlight and tail lights that were clearly damaged and on the estimate. The manager, Pedro, actually argued with me about this being done. They also failed to replace my 6 month old inspection/vehicle registration tag. Thankfully my insurance company stepped in and the Bryan location fixed the problem with the lights. Saying I'm disappointed is a huge understatement. read more

I was looking forward to a great experience with all the great reviews and Insurance recommendation. But that was not the case. I took my car in on a Monday and everything went well. Supervisor was very nice. I will try to make this review short which might be hard. Minor accident damage to drivers side door, edge of fender and molding had to be replaced. My car was in shop three times. Repairs not done correctly the first two times and had scratches on fender that were not there when I drop the car off. Plus the first time I picked up my car they had apparently left the indoor dome light on so when I went to go to work the next day my battery was dead. After the first visit the manager called me and told me that when I brought my car in for the second time that he would watch it the whole time and make sure everything was done correctly. Well at the end of my third visit he finally came up and wanted me to tell him everything that had gone wrong with the repairs. Which leads me to believe he was not there watching to make sure it was all done correctly. In fact it sounded like he had not even talk to the supervisor about it. The first time I got my car back it was clean and there was paper on the floorboard. The second time I went to pick my car up the repairs were still not done Completely. They had forgotten to buff the paint spots and they had to order another molding. Mind you the supervisor said "he should've noticed that". My car was dirty with mud on the tires and in the wheel well. I could live with that but when I looked inside my car there was mud on my leather seats and on the floorboard (no paper). I guess they only care about the interior of your car the first time you come in. Supervisor told me that he would have my car detailed when I brought it back for the third time. Well the third time I went to pick up my car the repairs seem to be done correctly but there's mud in my car again. There was no way my car had been detailed. Manager and supervisor both apologized. But really at that point I just wanted to take my car and go home. read more

My Acura had been hit by a hit and run while parked in a retail parking lot. I took it to Caliber Collision in Tomball and met with Kyle. He explained every step that had to be taken to make sure the pain would match in and around the area where there was a small dent. Layer that day my husband and I went by so Kyle could explain it all to him. After trying to get another bid at a business we had used in the past, we were told we must make an appointment to meet with someone for getting the bid. I decided if I could not have someone take 5 minutes to look at the damage and let us know the cost of repair, I would rather take it back to Kyle. We got it in the following Monday, and when we went to pick it up on Friday, my husband noticed that the paint color was not an exact match, so Kyle said he would get it right back in the following Monday and it would be ready on Wednesday. I can't say enough positive about this business and Kyle. I would highly recommend using them, as I would not hesitate to go back if we had any other paint/body issues. I don't write reviews often, but I really felt like these guys were worth writing one for and I know that this is an industry where a good review is really helpful for someone shopping around. On December 17th, my brother-in-law clipped the tail end of my new car. As frustrating as that is on it's own, this meant I had to take my car to get repaired right before Christmas! I had a busted taillight and my bumper was dented and scratched, both would need replacing. Seeing as how I just got this car, I was super nervous about taking it to a repair shop, especially since I just moved here and didn't really know who to go to. His insurance agency recommended Caliber and, since I had no other recommendations, I decided to go with their advice. I am SO glad I did. It can be intimidating trying to get your car repaired, you never know if someone is going to overcharge you or mess with something that you love probably more than you should (no judgment here - we are all materialistic to a point!). Anyway, I brought my car in the next day and they were super nice and helpful, I was in and out dropping off my car, they even made it a point to help me quickly so that my ride wouldn't have to wait (I opted to not get a rental). They ordered a new bumper and taillight right away and when the bumper came in dented, they ordered another one to be overnighted... the night before Christmas Eve! I drive a Land Rover and parts are not easy to come by and are also not cheap, but they were able to get two bumpers (one to replace the first ordered one) and have everything installed and painted in less than a week at a really reasonable price (especially considering the make of my car). They were done quicker than they had initially quoted me, which was really nice, and they were even there Christmas Eve to make sure I got my car as soon as possible. The best part was that they called and text me everyday to give me updates on the progress and let me know where they were in the process. I can't recommend them enough, it really made the whole process way easier and left me feeling like my car was in good hands. I will definitely be sending business their way in the future. read more

I had a lot of places to choose from, but after reading the reviews of this company at this location I decided to take my car there for the repairs from a wreck. This location was out of my way in a big way, but IT WAS SO WORTH IT! Let me start with Mary at the front. She is the kindest person with the best customer service. Always a smile, down to earth and extremely accommodating. Loved her! Customer service is SO rare these days when you actually encounter it, you are overly grateful for it. Now, Matt. I read some great reviews about Matt and he lived up to what everyone was saying and then some.
