This location was approved by the insurance company to complete the repairs to my car. I checked reviews (carwise website) and agreed. I was so pleased with their work, that I wanted to post a review here as well. I worked with Shayne, who walked me through the repair process when I dropped off my car. He also kept me updated throughout the repair process, and when I picked it up, he covered all the work in detail with me. An additional bonus was that the rental car paid by the insurance company picked me up from Caliber, and at the end, I was able to leave the rental car at Caliber for pickup. STAY AWAY. My wife took in her vehicle and explained what we explained to our insurance. This is our experience with this awful lying and dishonest place. Neil was her original advisor, we gave him very clear directions my only thing he said "we'd cross that bridge when we get there" is if the aftermarket headlight color didn't match. It didn't after being told they checked and it did. Per Greg and Neil. Let me make it known I parked in front of their front door security camera the first trip and the three trips following. now what would be the fifth trip, we have to take it somewhere else because they're not holding to what they told our insurance. Each trip back to correct poor quality of work or them not addressing issues in full or why the vehicle was even brought in. It's been one headache after another. Aug23. The first pick it's ready call, they had paint coming off the newly painted part and dirty in the paint (still some) . bumper was not aligned. several more issues, they tried to pull it back into the shop while I'm waiting on my time. I thought it was ready to pick up? Aug 27 Its ready again, but they only told our insurance. did not tell us so we had no idea then wanting us to rush to get it. well it still not right. Then they scratched the new painted bumper adjusting and put touch up paint on to try and hide it. September 11 Now dropping off a third time with my agent and Greg now the General manager. Well it wasn't all done complete or correct, so I had to get his boss Shae Rodriguez to come meet me and then I found out Greg had lied to my wife and got caught and called out. Again all on your security cameras I parked there on purpose each trip because it started to get more then unprofessional. read more

Can't say enough good things about this company/location. My car was hit at work (I'm a leasing agent) and while the insurance company but mostly the rental car company (enterprise) were a pain to work with and ended up leaving me with no car for a week or two FOR NO REASON. I can genuinely say caliber collision and more importantly NEAL have been the best to work with. They were ready to service my vehicle, quick, communicative, and above all the best customer service I had through this whole experience. They kept me sane while my life took a really hard financial turn and was extremely stressful trying to find rides to and from work. A couple dings when I received it back but they took care of it immediately and it wasn't anything major. I was just extremely happy to get it back before the estimated time they provided. I was extremely pleased with my entire experience here from start to finish. My car was damaged 2000+ miles away, but luckily I was able to drive it back home. I filed two different claims with my insurance while away and Caliber called me immediately to set up those repairs. It was such a seamless, stress free experience, that I almost couldn't believe it. Very friendly, efficient and quick; plus I was treated very respectfully and with great care. When I picked up my car it was cleaned inside and out - that was an added touch that completed the experience. Overall, I just couldn't have been happier. I got into a car accident and called to see about getting my car fixed. Rather than being met with empathy and a "are you ok?" I was met with "what insurance do you have?" and "that is not one of our preferred insurance vendors so you're gonna have to wait longer". This place is not interested in helping you, they are interested in getting paid. When their adjustor was looking at my car he kept asking about old scratches rather than focusing on the points on impact. This resulted in an inflated estimate my insurance rejected. Even worse, Caliber never informed me that the estimate was rejected so for 6 weeks, I was under the impression they were fixing up my car and they weren't. My experience with them was terrible and traumatic overall. read more

Customer service is poor. Was told something over the phone and came the day to pick up and gave me hard time. The lady in the front got super defensive. She was red like a tomato as you can tell she was getting frustrated. Will not be back. As i said i was not going to go back a gentleman then said don't come back. They replaced my $800 head lamps with $200 pair to don't fit properly and don't have high beams. They didn't replace broken cllips so the front bumper falls off stilll. I hadn't realized at first because I wasn't driving much at the time. When I noticed the half ass job I called and they said I must have replaced the headlights myself and broke clips. I got in a car accident August 2007 and my car got totaled..by a woman running a red light cause she was on her cell phone....no bitterness..really! Anyways I got a brand new 2008 shiny Nissan Altima 3.5 Coupe...RED. Kinda a dream car. iIhave had the glorified station wagon and the mini van and it was now time for ME! So I got this car in October 2007. I was in love. The night of Halloween Oct 31st I decided to move my car out of the driveway so ..ya know...little ghouls and goblins wouldn't scratch it. This was my new baby and I wanted to protect it. So I moved it in front of my house. As I was cooking dinner my doorbell rang and my hubbie answered it. I heard him talking but didn't really pay attention...until he called me and asked me to come to the front door. It was my across the street neighbor who just had a baby 3 weeks before. She was hysterically crying. I knew right then what happened. She was backing out of her driveway and happened to back right into my brand new shiny 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 Coupe :( I wasn't mad as ultimately itis really only a car.....but I will never move my car in the road again. So, I called Collision Craft and they fixed my car and worked with my neighbors insurance and I didn't have to do a thing. They actually replaced the entire door and painted the entire drivers side of my car so as to blend the color. You can not tell at all that it had been painted or hit. They did just a remarkable job. It is owned by a local Hutto guy and I truly believe in supporting your local community as much as you can. I highly suggest this place as I trusted them with my brand new car and it came out looking just as it did the day I bought it. read more

We dropped off our vehicle at the beginning of May to have hail damage repairs made to it. Three days after it was there they called and asked if we were OK to have it transferred to their Lakeway location because they were too busy and that they would have it towed. We agreed to this and thought nothing more of it. One month later we go to pick up the vehicle and there are warning lights on the dash saying there's an issue with the brakes and the tires etc. so my husband went back in and asked about this and they said oh you brought it into us that way which was 100% not true. After back-and-forth they said just take it down The Ford dealership and they can look at it . At this point we had already dropped off our rental vehicle so now we are without a vehicle. The Ford dealership came back and said there was an issue with the back tires and the brakes and it was some thing that was more than likely caused by the tow truck straps so again not our issue we did not have it towed Caliber had it towed. They refused to take ownership of them causing this and even offer to call our insurance and just "add it to our claim" and they'll go ahead and pay for it which is insurance fraud because this was not part of the hail damage which is why we took it in to begin with. I notified them that if they did this I was going to report them for fraud And I called my insurance to give them a heads up to make sure they were not going to add to our claim. We come home with a vehicle and find out that they stole items like a air compressor that were left in the back of the vehicle underneath the seats. Beware of this location stay, what a bunch of crooks. 6/9/21 UPDATE: Caliber responded to my post and asked for more info about what happened. I sent them an email on June 4, 2021 with more details and I have yet to hear back from them. I guess they were just trying to show that they were trying to remedy the situation but no response does not change or remedy the issue. BEWARE if you use them in the future. read more

So much for trying to stay local... I went to Caliber Collision in Hutto this morning and began to ask if they could paint a car that my son and I had rebuilt. Before I could finish my sentence, the woman at the counter cut me off unceremoniously and said, "We can't do full paint jobs." I was kinda taken aback since they obviously can because I saw the paint booth and equipment to do that very thing while walking in the front door. I replied to the lady, "You have a paint booth and don't do paint?" She began to repeat the above line to me again, so I promised a great Yelp review, thanked her, and left. As I walked away, to my back, she sarcastically said, "I'm sorry, we can't do full paint jobs." I chose to ask Caliber based on several friends recommendations and the many glowing reviews here. I've known and referred all of my customers to Brian and the Collision Craft team for years now but had the pleasure of experiencing their stellar customer service with Chris Darnaby myself. There ended up being another minor incident at the shop too. Not only did they complete the repairs in an extremely timely manner they went above and beyond put me in a premium rental and cleaned my car too. Now the car was already clean when I brought it because I'm a neat freak- but they washed waxed and even shampooed the interior!! All in an effort to make it right.
