This place is on the GRN guaranteed repair network for many insurance companies. I just happen to get rear ended mid December and had to bring ot here for the appraisal before I took it to thr place where I was actually going to have repairs done. I will give them credit for being organized in that they pulled up my info very quickly. The girl behind the desk was a delight and everyone was very kind. The estimate (which we knew would be extremely conservative...was just that. The bumper is cracked but he looked me dead in my face and said it's better to keep all the original parts so we are just going to repair it. Lol. Um ok. I just let people talk bc there was no way this was going to be able to be repaired but definitely not going to argue. What's the point since he's not going to touch my car anyway. I wish them many years of success but with me as a member of the community cheering them on from afar. read more

Dishonest, very sketchy! I was assigned to caliber by my insurance. After the initially completed my repairs I thought everything was good. A few days later my car didn't sound right. I got down on the ground and looked where repairs on my car should have been completed. Only to find they never did the repairs in the firs place. So then I had to take my car back to them to rectify the situation. If I had not looked under my car, this would have never been caught.....!! No apology from caliber, no nothing! This place is sketchy and they do not do what they tell you their going to do, do NOT TRUST THEM, take your vehicle somewhere else!!! read more

Do not go to the Commerce location in Round Rock. The one in cedar park is better! The Commerce location did a horrible repair to my front bumper. The day after my car was returned to me, part of the front bumper (they supposedly fixed) began to fall off while driving on the toll road. I had to swerve because I lost control, I nearly hit a concrete barrier at high speeds. I could have died, because of them. Justice will be served. Seriously, don't go to this location. read more

Mario and Justin made the whole process easy as pie I had my car back in tip top shape faster than I expected. The photos speak for themselves! The body damage to my front bumper was repaired flawlessly and they also let me know that all my sensors for parking and cruise control were fully calibrated back to normal. The waiting room is quiet and and clean and stocked with coffee and water and the reception/administration was a breeze. I felt informed throughout the process with the tracking link and multiple phone calls from Justin and Mario. The cost of the services was extremely reasonable for everything the provided in the timeframe. The Bitchcraft is ready for the road again after an overnight stay at Caliber! I brought my car in after my left fender liner was torn off along with some bumper clips. My service rep, Colleen, set expectations well and made the process clear. Even the office manager, Kristen got involved when I spoke with her and she noticed a lot of the work was covered under warranty. I mentioned that I had work done at another Caliber location and some of the work might be under warranty, but they actually contacted the other location to go over all the details and got me a much better outcome than expected. Brought in a Buick Lacrosse for collision repair. When we picked up the car the interior was filthy. Sweat and grime all over the beige interior. Ripped leather in the back seat from storing parts inside the car!!! Even candy wrappers in between seats. The lock on the door that was replaced does not work. That fact that they store parts inside the car, until they are ready to work, shows how careless they are with their costumers vehicles. read more

After decades of using Caliber locations for all of our collision repairs and getting superior results, we unfortunately have had poor results at the Round rock north Mays location, and still have not had our repairs completed after one years time at the commerce location. At North Mays location we had Rat damage under the hood from the short time our Lexus sat outside and the trunk was painted too yellow for the white color, which commerce location confirmed. Commerce did not keep their word when they promised that the entire trunk was to be repainted, and instead tried to blend the rear facing portion, leaving the rear of the car with a yellow tint. After over one years time we are still waiting for a tire PSI sticker and the plug that goes on the inside of the convertible top. After many, many months of promised return phone calls, we still have to follow up with no results. read more

I would never recommend this particular Caliber Collision. I brought my car in for Hail Damage repair. Omar was my point of contact and he did an absolutely horrible job. I was told my repair would be done in a couple weeks, but it took 7 weeks to get my car back. I made an appointment and took my car in before I dropped it off so that they could look at it and order the parts so they were ready when I actually dropped my car off. I was upfront with them that I did not have rental insurance, so my rental would be full price and out of pocket. All the parts were in and everything should have gone smoothly, but it sure didn't. I was told I would get updates on how things were moving along with my car, but I didn't. I had to call Omar for 3 straight days before I heard back after they had my car for 2 weeks and he told me that NO WORK was done on my car because he said it was totaled (after they had already looked at it before I dropped it off). He said it was my insurance's job to get a hold of me and not his. He sent all the parts back without even actually speaking to the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they said it was not at all totaled and they never told Omar that it was. So now my car has been at the shop for 2 weeks with nothing done to it and they had to re-order the parts before they could begin work. Well, the parts now weren't available. I asked if I could have my car back and Omar told me no, I couldn't. It took a long time for the parts to come in, and I had to call the shop every other day to get an update because no one would call me back. Many times I was told it would be "ready by this Friday", and of course it wasn't, but I didn't get any calls telling me it wasn't ready, I had to call them. They finally finished the work after 7 weeks.... 7 weeks of me paying for a rental out of pocket, costing me $4000. I get it takes time to fix cars, but mine could have been done in 2 weeks if he wouldn't have sent the parts back in the first place for thinking the car was totaled when the insurance company did not agree. When I finally was able to pick up my car, they originally tried to bill me way more than what was agreed upon. I said no, and then Omar looked at my bill again and said I didn't owe anything, and I had been through enough. Great, so I get to keep my insurance check for all the crappy service, NOPE. 3 months later, I got a letter in the mail (the wrong address, luckily my mail lady knew where I lived) saying I was going to be sent to collections for not paying for my car repair. I had not gotten any calls or mail prior to this, so it was a shock. I immediately called and tried sorting it out with the manager. Nope, they weren't giving me a break, Omar just had messed it up and I still owed them the insurance check, and they had been sending mail to the wrong address, but never once called me about it. I explained to the manager all that I went through and how I was unhappy and was out an additional $4000 for my rental, and she said the regional manager would call me and give me some money back for my rental. NOPE, never got a call! I am so done with this place, I advise that you never go there, they had so many opportunities to make it right and they never did. read more

My truck had very minor scratching done to it while at a dealership. I read the reviews and decided to go with Caliber based on these reviews. Giant mistake. I took my vehicle in and received an estimate of $5,600. I requested an estimate that was OVER the projected amount so there would be no surprises and was assured that this figure covered more than enough and it would be less than the amount estimated. Carmax did the damage to the vehicle so they were paying and I wanted to get approval for the number and info I recieved with them first. Based off of the damage they said it was a very, very high estimate but if they were who I wanted to go with it was approved. I dropped my vehicle off at Caliber a couple days later and thats when the shady dealings began. I informed Caliber that Carmax was going to be responible for the bill and they wasted no time in sending a revised estimate that was $1,000 higher yet added no more work. Carmax and I decided that the dishonesty and shadiness of the company was not going to be someone we wanted to work with but they said they had already started the work and we decided to proceed cautiously. Over the next couple weeks they sent Carmax 6 diferent estimates and continued to raise the price. When I went in to talk to the manager he tried to tough guy me and intimidate me when I expressed my concern about their honesty. When they finally finished the work I went to pick up my truck. The scratched areas they worked on with the paintwork had bubbles, divots and waves in the paint. They said "give us 30 minutes and we will sand those out". They tried but were unable to. It still looked like garbage and they said if I wanted it fixed properly they would have to keep it another couple of weeks. They charged to spray in bed liner but did not do the whole bed as they stated was needed and they charged for. They chipped and scratched my tailgate while inspecting it and did not fix it. They removed the door handle and broke it and just put it back on cracked. My vehicle is in almost as bad a shape in the repaired areas as when I left it and worse shape in others as when I left it. I went up the management line and demanded that they stick to the original price and they agreed that I was dealt with unethically and dishonestly. They refunded the extra $1,700 that was wrongly charged and paid They were still paid the original $5,600 and my vehicle still looks bad and is broken and chipped. I got rear ended on the way to the gym this morning, young guy on his way to work. I thought the damage was worse than it was. Michael Hernandez from Caliber Collision on Commerce in Round Rock buffed out the damage. He could've brought it in and charged to paint the whole bumper and I wouldn't have known the difference. I have had body shop bring in less and charge for the whole bumper paint. Hopefully I don't have to use collision repair again, but if I do, I will definitely go back to them. 5 star would definitely recommend the team at Caliber Collision. Brought my vehicle here for a vandalism repair and it took them well over a month to fix a broken window.... Then when they finally finished the manager pulls me into the office and says the my master switch (driver side window controls) had an issue that was "non related to the vandalism" turns out there wasn't an issue they just failed to simply reset the window...they also claimed that my regulator motor went out but due to them saying this about my master switch I really don't think it went out!! How can you call yourselves professionals when I had to fix the issue myself. They seem very eager to just continue to charge people for unnecessary parts... they also said the motor came from Toyota but the motor is very different from the other motor on the rear driver side window.... Now I'm stuck with a 500$ bill from the rental car place because they kept replacing unnecessary things.... Please be cautious of bringing your vehicle here read more

I'm writing this a month or so after my visit. Long story short - I had front end damage and my car was originally fixed at the Bluff Bend Caliber Collision location. They did a horrendous job (left a review over there too) and my insurance told me they weren't going to send me to a different body shop (my insurance "highly recommended Caliber Collision) until I gave Caliber a chance to fix it - since they have lifetime warranty on their work. So! I took my "fixed" car to this location, talked to the manager, showed him all the screw ups the other shop did (you can read all about them in my review for the other location). He circled each location with a special marker and I left in the rental they provided. A week or so goes by and my car is ready! However...even though it was an improvement from the other shop - there were still problems. Image #1 & 2 They still didn't clean off overspray/compound dust off my car (originally other shop screw up) Image #3 They didn't tape it off well enough b/c over-spray (paint) got on the black molding - and they left it there. Image #4 That line the arrows are pointing at, that goes from the top to the bottom is a crease in the paint...that's not supposed to be there. Image #5 This is just one location out of several spots where the paint is peeling already (as in, the day I picked it up - it looked like that) And, they still couldn't match the color correctly. The shade of white is obviously different from the rest of the car (they couldn't be bothered to blend the bumper to the adjacent panels b/c they "can't do that.") and liked to blame the "plastic is different from the metal parts" for them not being able to match it. It's possible...maybe it's challenging but it can be done. A couple weeks later my boyfriend noticed the driver door wasn't put back correctly. When the door is closed, there's a major different in distance between the door and the rest of the car compared to my passenger door and it's not flush with the body of the car. I don't know if it was the first Caliber that did that b/c they did need to remove my door I think...and this Caliber shouldn't have needed to remove my door so... I hate Caliber Collision. I will never use them again and even though they have lifetime warranty on their work - I'm not going to let them "fix" their screw ups over and over and over again. The people however! Were really kind, and patient with me. But as far as the work their shop people do?....extremely disappointing. I was married to a paint & body shop guy and he was phenomenal - he's the 3rd generation of paint and body men in his family, so maybe I'm spoiled in knowing what top quality work looks like but that's what I'd hope to get at a shop that was so highly recommended by my insurance and Caliber's claim to "make it like it never happened." read more

I'm really torn between 2 and 3 stars for this review because everyone was friendly, but there was a serious issue with the quality of work. We had a no fault collision, and my car, while sitting at a stoplight, was basically hit in the back and shoved into another vehicle that was in front of me. Enter Caliber. A preferred place for repairs through the insurance company. The appointment was easily made for a few days later. Enterprise rent a car is located inside of Caliber, so that was convenient as well. We were promised our vehicle in 3 days, and that turned into a week, which turned into 9 days. At 9 days we went in to pick up the car to see that the work was not completed nicely. The replacement hood was warped and there was a gap big enough to fit my hand in beside the headlight. There was also a dent from manipulation. We refused the vehicle and told them it needed to be right. It didn't look like that before the accident and I wanted the lines to match up. No gaps or dents! A day later they call us back and it does look better, but there is still a slight warp on one side of the hood and it's higher than the fender. There is also another small palm dent in the fender. At least the gap was gone. We agree to take the car, along with a check to compensate for the remaining flaws that they didn't want to attempt to fix. 11 days later.. I finally have my car. BUT.. they didn't bother to replace the license plate bracket and they simply tossed my front plate on the front dash. I had to call them, then prove to them that my bracket was a two-piece and that it was there when I brought the car in! Then I was told it would be there by Monday. I go in, it's not there. I'm told to come back. A week later, I finally have my plate mounted on my car again. What a mess! Caliber remained friendly the entire time, but there was some serious flaws in the way my car was repaired and delivered. If I ever need more body work done, I'll just get my estimate and go to my own body shop. read more

Well, the Old Batmobile was injured and had to go to the fixit place. A minor hit in the rear dented and scared the driver's side rear bumper. I took it to Caliber Collision Center for repair. (See pictures) The inspection went well and the service was great, the estimate was fine and they repaired the car and returned it on schedule. After reviewing the fix it looked great. I drove away happy. Would I return? Hopefully not but in cases of another Batmobile injury I would take it back. read more

On Aug 31st I had my car towed to this location to repair the driver's door. I received regular updates that the car repair was going as scheduled. On Sept 9th I was informed by Austin that my vehicle would be ready on the 19th. The only thing he said they needed was a door handle, but I could bring the vehicle back later when that came in. On Sept 12th I was texted that the door arrived damaged, and they had to reorder. So, by this point, I started to suspect something was going on. When we spoke previously I was told just a door handle was needed. On Sept 13th I spoke on the phone with Austin who said the door was an OEM order and will ARRIVE on the 19th. On Sept 14th I texted to confirm the door was arriving on the 19th of September, and they confirmed again. Since the door was now arriving on the 19th Austin told me my vehicle should be done around the 23rd or 24th. At this point, I was paying out of pocket for my rental. I informed them of the financial hit this was taking on me being a single mother. I told them please have all the paperwork showing the door was ordered and it arrived damaged for the insurance company. On the 19th of Sept, I called and texted with no reply. I showed up at the shop to see the door that was supposedly arriving. They tell me the door was NEVER ordered! Austin lied when he described to me how the door arrived damaged! To my surprise, they inform me that the door is on back order, and they found this out on the 12th but kept LYING about the situation. The car has now been sitting for a total of 20 days with nothing done and no completion date in sight. At this point, I speak to the GM who was so unprofessional and unremorseful for all the lies and time wasted. I tell him to have my car towed home and he informed me he will the next day. It is now the morning of the 20th of September. I text and call asking when my car will be arriving. The GM tells me he has no idea and at that point, I say I will be showing up with a tow truck and towing MY vehicle home. After trying to find another body shop that would take my vehicle, I come home in the afternoon and see my vehicle has been towed home in parts. My car was returned with more damage than when I took it in! The bumper was on the ground and the inside of my vehicle had parts everywhere. To have a business treat its customers like this is astonishing. Not only did they lie and waste my time, but they returned my car in such a horrible matter. I will be filing a lawsuit against them because of this. They have put me under financial strain and caused such emotional distress. This was my ONLY mode of transportation. I have also paid over $300 in rental fees and my car is nowhere near complete. At least with the dent, I could attempt to drive it. USAA paid hundreds of dollars to this establishment and when I called to get my belongings left in my car a few months back they said they no longer had them. Today I get call saying my things were still there and if I would pick them up. I was excited to know they still had them and asked them if they would do me the favor to drop them by my house which is 15 minutes from their business is RR and said no. Before getting paid by USAA they bend backwards to assist me, now that they been paid a little courtesy would have been appreciated especially since I no longer drive and have mobility issues. I asked them to trashed them out. Again a little courtesy goes a long way and always appreciated. Service is before, during and after and not just while waiting to get paid. read more

Shocked by the disgraceful treatment I received here. My car wasn't ready when expected, but no communication from them. When I let them know I needed my car or a rental so I could make arrangements for my mom's funeral they not only weren't helpful or apologetic they were outright rude and mean spirited. The woman at the front desk with dark hair (Ana?) was blatantly and aggressively hateful to me. She went so far as to make unkind comments about my recently deceased mother. She spoke to me in a snotty tone of voice and cursed at me. When I asked her to step away because she was upsetting me so I could speak with the other service person she shouted at me that it was her workplace and f*** no she wasn't leaving! I had to go to another location for a rental car and find another repair shop to complete the repairs. These guys made the process wonderful and quite painless. Their paint job was immaculate! I was concerned that it may not match or not exceed my expectations since it is a difficult process with a pearl paint, but they definitely did a quality job. Wonderful customer service. There was one piece of belt molding missed by the PDR company and Ros made sure to order the part and get it replaced as quick as humanly possible and without question. This location has been the worse Caliber Collision that I had encountered. They lack professionalism, communication, and staffing. It would of been helpful to inform clients that you would be temporarily closed rather than have them to drive up for their appointment and not knowing. When you do manage to receive a person over the phone, it was a rude man not knowing how to handle the phone calls or seem to know what was happening at the office. So in the end, you waited for no answers basically. I suggest going to another location...just NOT this one. read more

I was a bit hesitant due to reading some of the recent reviews, but I decided to give them a try anyway. I'm glad I did because the whole process was made as smooth as it possibly could have been. In my case, my car was rear-ended. During the repair, I was given frequent phone call and text updates on the status. I never had to guess what was going on. Additionally, I was provided an estimated completion date (which was completely satisfactory), but in the end, they completed the work much sooner. This was done through USAA, and the payment was handled seamlessly. In the event I need body work done again, I'll certainly be returning. read more

My car got hit by a Geico subscriber, and they recommended this place, so I went for it. They had to do a lot of body work. I took it in on a Friday, and they said they'd have it done on Tuesday. They called me at 4:58 on Tuesday to say it was ready, but that I couldn't pick it up until the next day since they were closing. One more day doesn't bother me that much, given some of the experiences I've had elsewhere. I had a rental car, and I'm not "the car I drive says something about me as a person" type, so I was fine to keep driving the rental, so whatever. I can get to work. Once I get there, the work on my car was really well done. I recommend them for body work, for sure. What kind of irked me was that the car was messy inside. There was a weird random smear on the inside of my windshield. I keep a blanket and emergency kit in my trunk and both were strewn across the backseat and not put back when they were done. My car should be given back to me clean, with my trunk stuff back in my trunk. That is what separates average from good work. They do guarantee their work though, so I liked that had I seen a problem the next week, I still could have gone back- I didn't need to, though. The work is solid. read more
